I can't see my Music Movies in my Music folder

Hello,
I'll try to explain...
I just bought the album of Nelly Furtado. With it you get a beautiful video of Maneater ( .m4v file).
I can see the movie from the "Music" folder or from my personnal folders with no problem.
But the movie doesn't appear in the "Movies" folder (top left - just under the "Music" folder). Is this normal? How can I solve this?

Thanks Macjack. So I've got 100 Gig in Dropbox in my user folder...I didn't think drop box would take up space on your computer? I tought I could transfer everything off my computer into dropbox, and delete everything in my computer folders that I transfered to dropbox? I tried to do this but everything disappeared in Drop box and my user folder. Must they be the same and is the information then duplicated?
So what I did was copied everything in my documents and my iPhoto library into dropbox. Then deleted everything in my documents folder (not iPhotos cuz that's still transferring over!) and after a day or two everything was gone from dropbox as well...luckily I had it all backed up and was able to bring it back. So is everything duplicated then? On my computer and drop box?
Sorry if this is all confusing...

Check your Editing preferences in the organizer (Edit -> Preferences -> Editing)
Ensure that both editors are selected - the Instant Movie should then show up under Create.

First of all, you should always save you photos on computer like any other digital camera.
Backup on iCloud or iTunes only backup your Camera Roll. The other photos should be already on the computer.
Note: Photos are not saved in iTunes, it's only a conduit between your iPhone and your photo managing software on computer.

How can i see "recently added movies" on my apple tv?

On my apple TV 1 st generation, i had the option to view the "recently added movies" on the apple TV menu. Now that i have the apple TV second generation, I DO NOT see this option but i can still see the option "genre, unwatched, by movie". Is there anyone who can help me out on this one? (By the way i had to move all my movies from one hard drive to another, maybe it's something to do with that?)

I think I see now you mention playlists. You can create a smart playlist in iTunes and access it from the Apple TV, this would appear in the nested section under playlists though rather than in the three viewing options at the top of the movie listings. Before you can view playlists you need to enable playlists in the settings.

Can't see my itunes movies...

I've done a search but can't find my answer to this question. How can you view your movies? I created movies in iMovie and shared them with iTunes. When I click on 'movies' in itunes I see my movies, but when I play them I only hear sound; I can't see the movie...I have a feeling there is a simple solution to this??

What version of iMovie, and iTunes are you running?
I am running iMovie 7.1.4, and iTunes 8.0.1...
When i repeat the steps you listed above, i get a dialog box that pops up asking which size movie you want...Options being:
Tiny: (176x144) to play on iPhone
Mobile: (480x272) to play on iPhone, or Computer.
Medium: (640x360) to play on iPod, Apple TV, or Computer...and last
Large: (960x540) to play on Apple TV or Computer.
Which of these options did you select?
If you are viewing this on your computer, you either need Mobile, Medium, or Large.
My options i picked were Mobile (so i can view it on iPhone - but too small for viewing on computer), and also Large.
When i published it, it opened in iTunes and i was able to successfully play, watch, and listen to my movies.
Another thing you can do is to NOT Share with iTunes, but instead Share>Export Movie (Command E in iMovie) - select your saved destination....
When i did this, it saved it as a .m4v file.....
.m4v files also play in iTunes so you should be able to just drag it in iTunes and it should play that way as well...

Sounds that you previously had the about:newtab page when you opened Firefox and this now has changed to a Facebook page.
You can check the startup setting:
*Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts"
*"Show my home page"
You will have to set the home page to about:newtab to gt the page with recently visited websites.

Server Admin can't see hard drive with user's Sites folder

I have a G5 XServer with two hard drives running 10.4.10 co-located at an ISP. I had recently brought it home and did a clean install of the OS and put new accounts (mainly to host multiple web sites) on it that were different than before, and this time I installed the operating system on the second hard drive leaving the original in place.
Everything works fine EXCEPT that when using +Server Admin+ to set the Web Sites to point to the various home directories (click web, click settings, click Site, Click 'plus' to add a new site or 'pencil' to edit one, then click '...' to select the folder), +Server Admin+ *cannot see the new home directories* on the hard disk I am currently using. It can only see the old directories on the old hard drive.
(Note: I observed the same issue when trying to set the FTP root directory.)
How can I get +Server Admin+ to look at files on the other hard drive (the one I am booting from)?

That didn't work either.
It turns out that both hard disks were named the same (I don't know how I screwed that up), so I went in with Disk Utility and changed one of the names.

I want my wife to be able to see my calendars on my IPad /I phone on her mac and for her to add to it . She can then see my work movements and also add in any important events from home life. Can it be done without sync of email and contacts?

I would like my wife to see my calendar on her mac from my iPad so she knows my work movements and can add in any important events I need to be aware of at home. Can I do this without upsetting her mac/iPhone arrangement and without sync of contacts and email?

I'm not sure how iCloud will handle this, but I believe it will allow something along these lines - cloud syncing of the calendar between two. For now, you could just move your calendars to Google calendar and sync it to your iPad - then - you can subscribe to each other's calendars, give priviliges to add events to them, etc.

How can I see in the itunes library what music has been added to my ipod touch?

I have got a large library of music in itunes and have added some albums to my new ipod touch.
I want to put some more music on the touch, but I don't know what I have added so far. Is their some easy way of seeing or finding out?

Why not use AAC instead of Apple lossless?
I can't accept the loss of quality. It's something of an affliction, I know , but I'd be aware that the quality was less than maximum. Besides I frequently plug it into one of my very nice stereo systems, where I'd be more likely to notice.
But no idea about a web page listing your library.
This script -> Make A Text List, will "write an alphabetical list of your choice of the Albums, Artists, Composers, Genres, or Song Names in iTunes to a text file."
Whether it's a text file or HTML, can I search it or at least view if when I'm in music store? That I think is the real challenge here.

Can´t see my flash movie

I´m working with authorware 7.02 and try to import a
flash movie. This is published as flash 6 (actionscript 1) and
contains a video (mpeg4) and control buttons for it (play, pause,
change of speed,...). I tryed to import it with the flash asset
xtra but I dind´t see anything then. Then I tryed the activex
shockwave flash object but it just showed me a white square.
I hope somebody can help me!!!

Can't see or find any of my music

Just booted my computer and can log on to my itunes account, but there is nothing there...recently synced with my iphone, and most of the music is there (but not what was purchased in the past from itunes store)...in any case, not seeing any music..advice?

Try holding down the Shift key in Windows when opening iTunes. In the resulting dialogue you will get the option to create a new library or navigate to an existing one. The default location for your iTunes library is in C:\Username\Music\iTunes\ in Vista. Look in there and see if you have more than one library file (they have the extension .itl) If you have more than one try opening them in turn, you may find your original library is still intact: How to open an alternate iTunes Library file

I can not see an itunes movie purchase on ipad 2

I transferred 3 movies to my ipad 2. I can see all 3 when I click on ON THIS iPAD in itunes, however I can only find 2 of the 3 movies in the video app on the ipad. Can I make the movie work on ipad 2? The movie is "Wreck It Ralph" and works fine on my iPad 3.

Try using a Spotlight Search on the iPad.
Swipe to the right from your first home screen to get to the iPad Spotlight search. Type in the name of any of the movies in the field at the top. When and if the movie appears in the search - tap on it and it should start to play. Let it play for a minute or so - hit done - go back to videos app and see if it shows up.

ITunes can only 'see' a small fraction of my music (recently played)

I opened iTunes today and it only sees about a dozen songs (i think they're the most recently played). The music is still on my computer (new iMac/current iTunes version) but it doesn't 'see' it. This is not the common 'explanation point' issue.
Any thoughts? Related to the big 'bug' at Apple today?
