I can't see my TC on my Mac, so I have no way to configure it.

I got a TC for Christmas, and I have no desire to use it as a wireless network. I only want to use it as an external hard-drive, but I can't figure out how to set it up at all. I have read the instruction manual multiple times, and done everything it says, but it won't show up in Finder. I connected the internet cable to the WAN port on the back of the TC, and it flashed the amber light for ages. Then I tried leaving the internet in the back, but also connecting an ethernet from the TC directly to my computer. Finder is still not picking it up, and when I go into Time Machine, it says there are no wireless devices visible. The TC is right next to my computer, so it's not reception that's a problem. The internet works fine when I plug the cable directly into my computer, so that's not it either. I don't even care if I can back up my computer wirelessly or not, I am perfectly willing to use a cable to connect the TC and my computer, but it's not working, and I really need the extra storage space. Does anyone have a potential solution to my problem?

You don't have access to it to configure it via Time Machine? You lost me on that one, Time Machine is used for Backup.

To configure Time Capsule you should be using "Airport Utility" 5.3 or higher that is located in the Utilities folder. You can tell if its version 5.3 because the icon will have blue lines instead of orange lines like the older versions. Since you are running Leopard 10.5.6 and you ran Software Update you are probably already running the latest 5.3 version.
The light flashing amber means you haven't entered enough information so that it can get to the internet. Once you have that info entered the light will turn green.
If your absolutely sure your CAT5 cables are good you can try a hard reset. I think you have to push the reset button on the back and hold it for 5 seconds or so until the amber light blinks rapidly, then when you release the button it does the reset then.

Here is what I am seeing on my Android device - at the top, a few options like History > Top Sites> Bookmarks>Reading List. Then, the search/address bar, then to the right of that, a square with the number "1" inside it, then 3 dots that, when chosen, give you the following options:

Hi Ben,
both BSIS selects would become faster if you can add Company Code BUKRS as 1st field of WHERE clause, because it's the 1st field of primary key and HKONT is the 2nd field of primary key.
If you have no table index with HKONT as 1st field it's a full database access.
If possible, try to add BUKRS as 1st field of WHERE clause, otherwise ask for an additional BSIS index at your basis team.

Before you connect to a new PC, make sure that autosync is disabled in Edit/Preferences/Devices, otherwise your phone will be wiped during the following sync.
If you have data on the phone you want to save, back up manually:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your phone to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your phone without syncing. Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your phone for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards. Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the phone for the first time.
Since changing your iTunes library will erase your phone again, do the same process when you change back to your normal PC.

I can't see shared printers from a Mac with Leopard

Hi there we got a new MacPro that came with Leopard but when I want to add the printers shared by two old Macs it can't see them, it only find and HP Color LaserJet 2600n that was shared on a Mac Book. The other Macs has OSX 10.3.9 (a G5) and 10.3 (a G4), one share a HP LaserJet 1200 and the other an Epson Inkjet Printer. We also have a MacPro (a core 2 duo) with OSX 10.4 that can find all the printers.
I was wondering if the version of the old Macs has something to do with my problem, maybe the Leopard can't reach them or something like that.

Home Sharing - can't see library on PC from Mac

I've searched through other threads and have not found a simple explanation for this problem. I have a Windows PC (running Vista) with iTunes 11.0.2 and have a MacBook Pro with the same version of iTunes. I have setup my home sharing and am able to see my Mac library on my PC BUT can't see my PC library on my Mac. I have played with the firewall settings and tried turning the home sharing on and off on both machnes. Nothing!
Does anybody have a simple solution?

If you go to 'my computer', your ipod should be listed there (when its plugged in). If you click on it there is a path to all of the photos on your ipod. All you have to do then is copy them all and paste them in the 'my pictures' part of your computer. You can then do with them as you please. hope this was helpful
