I can't see the screen in the sun
I've searched for an answer, but can't find one. I have a 8320 and I use the theme that came with the phone. I can not see anything on the screen when there is a lot of light (i.e. outside). Is there a theme or some kind of setting I can use to help? This is very frustrating. Thanks, Joe

Have you tried turning off the "
Automatically Dim Backlight" option?
This can be found under Options-Screen/Keyboard
I find if this is set to On I have a hard time seeing the screen in day light.

Do you keep your data backed up?
If not, you should always do so*:

You never know when a hard drive or a directory might go bad. Having a bootable clone is a must.
That link also shows you some tools you can use to recover data.
If you aren't backed up, try buying those tools first, before attempting to repair the directory.

My front screen seems to zoom in when I start it now. AND, now I can not see the page fit the screen. It makes me scroll on the borders to move parts of the screen into view. Something changed and I don't know what happened or how to get it back to normal. Please HELP!!! Thx!
it is possible that zoom maybe enabled i think double taping with three fingers should disable it.
or you can go into settings>general> assessability> zoom and turn it off.

When I have video clips on my timeline, they do not play in the monitor screen. I hear the sound track but can not see the image. To test if my new files are somehow the problem, I went back and used video files that I used successfully a year ago, and they no longer play in the monitor window. I hear the sound track, but do not see any video. Have I changed some setting that controls video playback in the monitor window?

Missing in this equation were the version of Premiere Elements that you were using and the computer operating system on which it was running. But...
The deed is done. But.....Until now and after you went ahead and moved to version 12, we now learn what version of Premiere Elements you were using. We still do not know the computer operating system involved.
You just said Premiere Elements 10. Premiere Elements 10 is hit by a serious known display issue if the computer uses a NVIDIA GeForce video card/graphics card. In this issue, the only remedy is to roll back the driver version to about May 2013. The description of the problem and how to do the roll back are described in one of the Announcements at the top of this forum. What video card/graphics card does your computer use?
On another front, Adobe will be releasing a new version of Premiere Elements any day now. No one but Adobe knows the feature set for the new version. That type of information is announced at the moment of release of the new version.
So the remedy to the problem that you presented in this thread could have been...
1. Rolling back the NVIDIA GeForce driver version to about May 2013 if possible (Windows 8 or 8.1 64 bit, may not be possible)
2. Move to another version of Premiere Elements (which you did)
I offer the above for consideration so that you can review your decisions. We are pleased to learn that Premiere Elements 12/12.1 works for you.

How do you fix an ipod that has a black screen and it turns on but when it turns on the screen gets a lighter black but you still can't see the apps or anything?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

My iphone is gray or black it is functioning but you can not see the screen so I can not call or text or anything, I have a child that is very ill and I have to have access to a phone at all times can someone help me? It happened one other time when I plugged it in to my to listen to music. I know it is working it said something on voice control. I tried the press the circle button and the top button but the screen only turned white?

My macbook screen doesn't work so I have connected it to the TV and now nothing works, I can't see the dock or the finder bar, no folders on desktop either. I don't know what to do!
Do you see anything on the TV?
If you just see your desktop, then your MacBook is defaulting to extended display mode. Try pressing the Command + F1 keys to see if you get the menu bar and other icons.

I can't see the double arrows to access to full screen mode
I have a imac (the pretty big one) with OS 10.7 and i can't see the double arrows to access to full screen mode in any application. Even Safari or other native software don't work. Did anyone have a clue for me please ?
The combiantion Ctrl-Cmd-F doesn't work neither.

AlanOk, that didn't work and only closed out this window in discussions. After it closed this one I tried again doing the same but nothing. Makes sense though because if it closed this one out it would close everything else out on my desktop too. This is like a giant screen saver. All my other .jpg icons are still on my desktop over the top of this big pic. Is it possible this is what it is, just a screensaver? I did the same with another pic from the same website and it didn't do this. I clicked on my mouse to save a pic to the desktop and this monstrous thing appeared. My dock is still there and the top bar that has the apple, Safari, edit, etc., but not anything else that you would normally click on to close a window.

When i'm in the sun i notice that the screen is really really reflecti've and i can't see the screen at all, not that it's broken or anything. Anywhoo anyway or trick to fix that because i wanna change tracks when i'm outside.
Which player do you have? Sometimes a screen protector can help if you feel the angle or reflection is not to your liking.

We have an iPhone 4S and can only see the top half of the screen.
We have an iPhone 4s and can only see the top half of the screen. The phone works fine as far as making calls and you can kind of text, if you can figure out where the keypad is. Is there a fix for this or is it trash? It is out of warranty and we don't have insurance on it.

Try double tapping the screen with three fingers to return to normal size. If it works go to settings> general> accessibility> zoom> off.

Using a Portable Hardrive 160Gb capacity with Macmini.
