Mozilla never released a Firefox 3.7 version. Anything tagged as 3.7 was an Alpha version for testing the code for the upcoming Firefox 4.0 version, and shouldn't be used unless you're testing.

Also, look in Tools > Addons > Plugins and see if you have Shockwave Flash installed.

Netscape use to let me choose and create new profiles. after clicking on the icon for netscape i was prompted for which user profile i wanted. can i do this with firefox? also, each user profile was linked with its respective email account. can i do this through firefox as well? I need help. i have tried setting up firefox before and since i couldn't accomplish this i had given up but netscape is so old and most sites cause it to crash, i need a solution. i have 2 main profiles and 2 different email addresses. any advice or help, even not firefox related would be great

Firefox doesn't have the same type of interface for the Profile Manager that Netscape did. You might want to look at SeaMonkey ''(which uses the same Mozilla Gecko code as Firefox has)''.

I installed Sunray4u3 on Solaris0805. the application server is win2003EE.
I accessed usb storage from win2003, but I can only see files with English name , and could not see files with chinese name. Why? who can help?

You might want to make sure your credit card is listed in the billing information associated with your Apple ID (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1918).
Also, to change the From name that appears when you address emails on and iOS device, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars...tap your iCloud email account, tap you iCloud account at the top, tap Mail at the bottom, then enter the name you want to use in the Name field at the top.
To change the From name on your Mac Mail, go to icloud.com, sign into your account, open Mail, click the gear shaped icon on the bottom left and choose Preferences, go to the Accounts tab and enter the name you want to use in the Full Name field and click Done. Then quit Mail on your Mac and re-open it. Your new From name should now appear in the drop-down list when you compose a new email.

There is another setting for "Start Conversation from", that needs to be set to phone number.

Okay, now I have a 1 yr old Imac I am using 10.6.8 (do not know what that means) but everytime I call Apple support they ask me.. So I figured you may need to know as well. I go on the same basic sites so that is how I know that. I have only downloaded music I think 3x. I do not download much at all. Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

I am from Bangladesh. I have to frequently visit Bangla websites. Although chrome and opera mini supports Bangla Firefox for Android does not( What is the problem with Firefox). At least I could not find a way. Can anyone help me to see Bangla in Firefox?

this is for desktop version but we currently Bangla is not added in Firefox for Android, we are working on that , in future version of firefox you can use it.

A botched install on a Mac (to do with importing a profile) means that Firefox won't open on the grounds that the application is 'already open'. Tried removing everything I can find to do with Firefox and re-installed but no success. Any suggestions?

Little more can be added to the above. The warning screen says, 'A copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time.'
I have gone though all the libraries and preferences I can find and removed everything to do with Firefox and Mozilla - it was the first install of Firefox on this drive.

Do a clean (re)install:
* Download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] (not in the Firefox program folder) and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

In Internet Explorer I was able to right click and load the page as a PDF file. Can I do this with Firefox?

I have searched everywhere for this. When I go to "Tools" then "Options" then "Applications" I see that Adobe Acrobat is enabled however I do not see anything on Firefox that allows me to use it to convert a web page over to a PDF.

If you have a link to a pdf just open it as you would any other web page or link. It will open as a webpage displaying as the pdf document that it linked to.

Can't see volumes with Mac os x server install

I'm having a problem installing MAC OS X Server on a RAIDed MAC PRO (3 drives @ RAID 5: Here are the steps that I have done so far with no luck: created a RAID level 5 with RAID utility from CLIENT OS install cd that came with mac pro. Created one giant volume with the entire contents of disk space on the RAID with the CLIENT OS install cd/RAID utility also. Rebooted, the MAC PRO, ejected the CLIENT OS cd, inserted MAC OS X server install CD. When I get to the screen where I choose my volume to install the OS on, I can't see any volumes. I was told by Apple and CDW (reseller) to go to disk utility and do an ERASE on the volumes, that should format the drive and should be seen by the OS X Server install. It didn't work. It's interesting that I can install the normal client OS after creating my RAID, Volumes, etc... But the OS X Server install DVD doesn't see the volumes during the install process, OR using disk utility from the OSX server install disk, but disk utility on the MAC OS X client CD sees it fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does Apple support their RAID card in Mac Pro using Server? or does Server need to be updated? Minimum requirements for Mac Pro RAID card is 10.4.10.
You could try the cheat method: install everything on a single drive and clone it and see if it works.
From a discussion yesterday or Monday, only Apple drivers are supported on the Mac Pro (firmware?) and not 3rd party retail drives (a bummer) so you've got nearly $2000.

we have a server 2008 ent SP2 that sometimes when use remote desktop or via vmware console to access this server, after login we got blue screen and can't see desktop. after force reboot it recovery.

In general, event ID 1530 means there are some data in the user profile are still be accessed when the user log
off from the Terminal Server. Please check if any of the data is still remained in the user profile supposed to be deleted. You can use Process Monitor or Process Explorer in order to find the software which is using the data and find the solution. If there
is no such data remained, the Windows have possibly stopped the process and deleted the data when log off. In such a case, you can ignore the Event 1530.
In addition, I recommend running SFC /Scannow from an elevated command prompt and check a dump file for Windows
Explorer under C:\Localdumps.
Besides, you can also download
Autoruns to troubleshooting Explorer issues. Please run Autoruns as Administrator, go to Options menu, Filter, select Hide Microsoft Entries and Ok. After that, open the Explorer tab,
and you will see all DLL that are running inside File Explorer, so start disabling and testing if Explorer crashed.

Can not copy links with firefox ...

I use Firefox to play a ton of games on Face Book. When ever I right click on a link to copy it and send to others, it doesn't work. This has been going on for several weeks. I thought it was my computer but have discovered that Safari lets me copy the links just fine. I prefer Fire Fox. Can you help me with this. ?????

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

Can AVG LinkScanner work with Firefox

I have installed AVG LinkScanner on my Win7.64 system, but it doesn't work in Firefox 3.6, though it does more or less work in IE8. I have tried turning off all my (numerous) FF add-ons, but no difference.
1. Is it possible to install LS with Firefox
2. Is the FF phishing and malware protection built in to FF as good as that provided by LS?

The best bet would be to contact the add-on developers and let them know you'd like to use their extensions on the new version.
