I can't seem to unlock my phone I have the code from vodaphone but don't no what to do

I got a iPhone 4 it was locked so I requested it to b unlocked from Vodafone I received the code today but don't now how to or were to put the code

You may want to verify with your carrier that you were requesting a carrier unlock (for using the iPhone on a different carrier), as opposed to something like a SIM PIN unlock code. You may find the following article helpful:
