I Can't Select SD TV Show Downloads!

Seemingly out of nowhere I am no longer able to select the 'SD' version of television shows for download from the iTunes Store (on my MacBook Air).
I did not buy a season pass for any of these shows, and in ALL cases I'd previously, recently, purchased and downloaded SD shows from the same seasons.
My iTunes (and all other software) is up to date, and I haven't download any updates between the time it worked perfectly to the day it stopped allowing me to select SD.
Also - the SD option is THERE/available on the shows page... I click on it, as per usual, and nothing changes - just stays on 'HD' with the $2.99 price tag.  I've logged off, checked my account, went into 'purchased items' and deselected the 'Download in HD when available' box...  I don't know what else to do.
ANY advice would be most appreciated!

I have been having the same issue for some time now, but found a work around.
The issue is only on Mac's. I have both an iMac and a MacBook Air, both of which have the same issue.
However, it is not an issue on my iPad or AppleTV. What I do to work around this is to buy the episode(s) on my iPad in SD and download them to the iPad. I then go back to sync with my iMac and transfer purchases and it ends up in my library centrally from there.
Until Apple is able to recognise and fix the issue on the Mac's, this does work.
By the way: The other challenge I have with the current Mac version is that although I purchase it on my iPad, it doesn't show up on my Mac under "Available Downloads" for some reason. Same account on both, but it doesn't come through for some reason. This is why I do a transfer purchases from my iPad in iTunes.

    Hello Gerd,
    I found another way than coloring the plot transparent (btw. with better performance for huge data graphs). It has another advance since the graph remembers the original color.

  • Can you select a folder for download ?

    On my Canon 7D i can create different folders for different shoots. Is there a way in A3 to download just a specific folder from the CF card?
    Otherwise thoes different folders on the camera are quite useless!

    Re: multiple shoots in one day.
    This is what I do.  I found it more "robust" (that is, less prone to user failure) than your approach.
    At the beginning of each shoot I record a "separator frame" of some sort. 
    At the end of a multi-shoot day (or days) I put the card in the reader, launch Aperture, and open the import dialog.  I import each shoot into its own Project.  So I un-check all the files, select those for the first (second, third, ... ) shoot, set the metadata and import Presets I want, including naming the Project and the re-naming the files, and import without deleting the files on the card or ejecting the card.  I do this for each shoot.  When all the shoots are imported, I eject the card.  Every time I put a card back in a camera, I record a special "separator frame" to indicate that everything prior to that frame has been imported.  I never reformat a card until I know that the imported files have been backed-up (copied to a second drive).

    Problem 1:
    I recently bought the HD Season Pass to Please Like Me's second season, and when I went to go watch the first (and as of this writing the only) episode, Itunes kindly informed that I needed QuickTime to watch it. Installing Quicktime has not solved this.
    The QuickTime pop-up also came with a 'more info' button which according to that link, QuickTime is needed for older media (which considering this season is of the more recent variety (aka THIS MONTH) I would consider this to not be 'older'). Itunes otherwise more or less outright says that media of any variety should be able to be played just by Itunes, especially if you literally just bought it off the Itunes store.
    Itunes is updated to the most recent version. I'm running on Windows 8.
    Problem 2:
    With the same aforementioned media, when I tried to sync it to my Ipod Touch (5th Gen, up to date), I was greeted with the lovely little message that more or less said that 'x was not synced because x cannot be played on this Ipod'. Following this I went to the iTunes store on my Ipod and downloaded it from there and lo and behold, it has downloaded with no problems.
    So why is it that I had to go the more roundabout way and time consuming way to transfer the episode?

    I would check to make sure you can download the show again. If you can, then delete the show and download the TV show again. If it still not working, then report the issue with the download with the other article below.

  • Can't select items, keeps showing paths and anchor points

    All of a sudden when I roll over a selection the cursor displays anchor points and paths only. Any ideas?

    Perhaps you have Smart Guides turned on.
    Try Cmd+U to turn them off, and see how it goes.

    Not that I'm aware of.
    Adobe would probably says that the Cloud is very flexible now, the apps are all there if you ever do want to use them (they hope you'll try them all eventually), and the entire Cloud costs each member less than the price of a cup of coffee per day.
    I cannot see them introducing per-app bundle pricing to the Cloud (other than the current single app membership). The price differentials between each bundle would hardly be worth  it.

    I think the Cloud is here to stay in its current form. They'll just keep selectively adding more apps and services to make it more and more appealing.

    You can move the files to an external drive.  Delete the entry from your collection but don't let iTunes delete the file.  Copy the file to the external, then drag to iTunes to add it again.  Hold down the option key while doing this so the file doesn't get copied to the internal again.
    Alternatively use: Dougscripts: Relocates selected files to a folder of your choice - http://dougscripts.com/itunes/scripts/ss.php?sp=relocateselected - replaces "Move Files To Folder"  to move files.
    2) I wouldn't trust Apple or the media companies.  They could decide tomorrow to not allow a second download and you'd be stuck.  The media company could decide to pull an item from iTunes Store.  You are the only person who can be relied upon to ensure you always have access to your media copies.

    Next time an app update gets stuck try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons for10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. Wait till your iPad starts on it's own. Try now. Also YouTube is still available. If you can't find it the the app store go to the bottom of the app store page and tap purchased. All your deleted apps will be listed and you can reinstall YouTube from there.

    As I said - look whether your original file is damaged or not. If not, I wouldn't change it and find out what in your system makes it sound like it's clipping.
    Good sound file, with volume maxed out. No need to change anything.
    The same song clipped - no chance to repair.

    In Firefox Options / Privacy be sure "Remember download history" is checked. To see all of the options on that panel, "Firefox will" must be set to "Use custom settings for history".
    To find your OS information, on your Windows desktop, right-click the My Computer icon, choose Properties, under System on that small window is info about your OS.
