I can't send BBM to a specific contact

Dear Support,
One time this morning, i can't send a bbm message to a one specific person but she can send to me a message. I've tried sending to others and it work just as fine. We tried to delete the contact and add again but we can't continue the process. This is weird because for the others, we can still communicate and add a contact.
Kindly help us regarding this problem because it really is **bleep** us off we hope you can help us here

Can't send email to a specific contact

Hey everyone...
I have a little issue, my email works perfectly with my BB Curve 9320, except for one contact, my gf, I dunno why, but I can't send even a single e-mail to her.
It does'n work and I have tried everything, battery pull, deleting her from the address book and adding her again, I even wiped out my entire BB (y' know, factory settings), and nothing fixed it.
It doesn't matter if I compose a new e-mail, or reply to her, I still get the red X in my messages...
Any suggestions?

You should check settings of your e-mail, i mean, go to the web link login and through options check if her ID is accidentaly blocked, can check her e-mail id if it is the correct one. apart from this i can think of what is causing this problem.

Can't send bbm!!! and phone is freezing all the time!!

I rebooted my phone and now I can't send bbm, when I try to read my messages my bb just freezes and then I have to re boot it again, I have a curve 8900, after i rebooted it my phone says " uncaught exception: Application net_rim_bb_messaging_app(91)is not responding ; process terminated"
PLEASE HELP!!

Try going to www.blackberry.com/bbm on your device browser and reinstall the application once again OTA.

IMessage Problem: cannot send iMessage to a specific contact!

So here is the problem:
It's about 24 hours I cannot send iMessage to a specific contact only! Both of us have access to the internet and both of us can send iMessages to other contacts.
We have tried rebooting the phone, and turning iMessage on and off.
If it matters, we both live in Sweden and use different MNOs but still we are both on Wifi and cannot send and receive iMessages.
Could anyone give me and idea of what to do?!
Oh..and Apple...your iMessage is reaaaaaaally bougus.. do something about this pile of crap.

I had this problem with my sister living in Austria and I am in the States and at first I wondered if it was some international problem.
Are you sure you both have your apple ID's programmed into your contacts? For some reason it wasn't registering my sister's phone number as an iPhone but when I added her apple ID e-mail, it sends fine. I just have to iMessage her to THAT particular e-mail. That's the only way I was able to sort this same problem. iMessaging her to that e-mail works just fine.
I've iMessaged people in the states before just using their phone number only and not having their apple ID e-mail but with messaging to my sister in Austria, I have to use her e-mail. Wondering if anyone else has this issue with international iMessaging? I've iMessaged someone in Australia before with just their phone number and it worked fine so maybe it's completely random? I don't know. But definitely check and see if you have their apple ID in there in their contact information and try to iMessage them on that. See if it works! It did for me.

There is no group send option like you are looking for.
To send to a group you have to pick each person you want to send to and send as a group that way. Then don't delete that SMS thread and you can reuse it again later.
As for an app, well SMS works via your carrier and the OS, not something an App can do unless the app send the data to them (a third party) and then they relay it to the carrier. Do you really want to be sending your SMS to some 3rd party first?

Can't send email from one specific .mac account

I have two .mac accounts on three different machines. My main email account gives me "cant send with server smtp message..." use a different server. I can send just fine with my other .mac acct on the same machine. But I can't send from my main .mac acct on any of the machines or the web client at home or work. I have created a new user from scratch and set up the .mac acct on it and still get the errors. So it doesn't seem to be a problem specific to machine, user, or network. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

In your Account setup (via Mail Preferences) you may have to set up an Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) entry. As an example I have a IMAP account and a POP account. The IMAP account has the server smtp.<imap_domain>.com and the POP account has mail.<pop_domain>.net.au. I also have other domain entries which come into play if I am visiting friends or colleagues and need to send or receive mail via their broadband links which have ISP's that differ to mine.

Can't send message to a SPECIFIC Mac email address

My daughter has two iCloud e-mail addresses (@mac.com, @me.com), as do I. My outgoing and incoming iCloud mail service is working properly EXCEPT when – and ONLY when – I try to send her mail. I get the infamous “cannot send message using the server" error message and it gets stuck in my outbox. Repeated attempts to send the message are unsuccessful. This odd behavior has only shown up in the last month. I've tried everything I can think of to resolve it, including removing and setting up my own account and the outgoing server.
Can anyone figure out what could possibly cause my system to reject/block any message from being sent out to a single e-mail address??

Hello too_confused! I am so sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with texting this person! Just to clarify, are you able to text other people? When texting do you use her area code? (This can be found if you check the contact information in your address book.) Also, does your friend have Verizon as well? What make & model device does she have?

Can I send email to an iCloud contact group via Outlook 2010

When I installed iCloud on my PC so I could share my Outlook 2010 contact info with my iPad, I lost all my distribution lists (contact groups). I created a new Group in iCloud and copied several contacts to it. I also assigned those specific contacts to one category, thinking perhaps I could select easily based on category.
Now I want to select that entire group (or category in the "to" of an email. If I click on the "To' button, I am taken to my general iCloud all contacts folder. Category is not a criteria by which I can select. If I try to type in the name of the Group, it is not recognized.
If I have lost the ability to send group emails, I am going to be one unhappy camper!

You would need to create a new Security-enabled DL in the Exchange Management Console. Rackspace will help you accomplish this.

Put in your message header in the form of name/value pairs, the knowledge you want to use to control the consumer flow of your messages. For example (personName, Mike). Then setup a selector on the consumer side with personName = 'Mike' (see the JMS spec for this, or your product dev guide). This will allow the consumer Mike to get the message.
Now will that prevent anyone else from reading the message? No. Anyone that would not filter on the personName could consume the message. Another way of doing it (in a more complex fashion) would be for Mike to create a temporary queue, and to send the queue name to the producer in a message on a management queue define by you. This way, only the element knowing about the queue name will be able to use the queue, hence, the producer targeted by Mike, and himself. If you need to get to that extent, then you probably also want to setup the security, so that only authorized consumers and producers can connect to your queueing system.
This forces you to allow temporary queue creation, which is sometime seen as a security risk.

When I send a message to my business partner, everything appears to go thru normally, but she never receives it. email functions normally thru webmail on host gator, or from my iphone. i discovered this because all of my business partner's email gets forwarded to me. So I usually get copied on my own messages. Suddenly it stopped. I have looked thru mail settings (rules, junk) on my imac and hers. I have looked thru blacklists on host gator. I am stumped. Can't receive messages from one specific contact

I have turned iMessage off to save my data but for some reason I can send the message as an sms to one all of my contacts ( who have iPhones) and they can read them and I can receive their messages too but for some reason if doesn't work with one contact ( who has an iPhone) they can see my texts but I am not getting their replies..why is this? Please help

SMS messaging is a carrier feature. Contact your carrier.

How can I send an email to multiple contacts at once and have them not able to see the list or emails of the other persons included on the email?

Im trying to send one email to a list of people from my contact list but don't want them to be able to see who all is on the email list.

You use BCC instead of TO when addressing the message.
BCC = Blind Carbon Copy
The easiest way to do this is using the Contact Sidebar in the Write window. Press F9 to turn it on when a Write window is open.
Select all the contacts for the message. Hold the control key while clicking the contacts to select multiples. Then use the Add to BCC button at the bottom.

No, you are not missing it. That feature is not available on the iPhone.
