I can't send iMessage! I try to send it from Russia to USA number and it looks like sent but it didn't came! But it works with other numbers. What I need to do?
I did it before, when I was in USA. But now I can't! What's wrong?

You are running 10.5.8
Did you try booting off your Install disk holding the c key down. From here you can get to the drop down menu just a few clicks in (you are not going to install) and run the Disk Utility>Repair Disk. See if it will let you do this.

I am working on an iBooks Author Widget and want to allow the user to switch between drawing-pad functions and a text field on screen. I'd like to create an action that will automatically re-order the layers so that the text field is accessible when typing but covered when writing by hand. Then, I'd like the opposite to be available, so that the text field is accessible when typing, but the drawing pad is left alone.
Have you tried using the selections in the Encore menu viewer that show you selected and activated states?

One thing you can try
Turn iMessage off on your phone
Reset your phone - no data loss
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Then activate iMessage and start a new conversation and see what happens -
After adjust all setting to activate the iMessage , I try to send the iMessage a msg appear in red "not delivered". ...!?

Hi, i had the same problem. Try to find the file "apple" or "itunes" don't know it anymore exactly. Ahm well you need to delet any information or just plug in your iphone into an other computer. important is that your iphone never has been pluged in this computer before. This was what i did, and it worked!

I have had Adobe XI for about two years and My harddrive just crashed. My backups were part of the failure so I can't get it back. I purchased it from a third part supplier and it was a download. I need to find out how to get it restored. I can send screen shots of all of the drive location where the drive is still good and I can see my Adobe Acrobat pro information, but the download itself is missing. NEXT STEP?
If you are talking about Reader (you did post in the Reader forum), then just download http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise. However Reader is free not purchasable. You can download a trial then install using your serial number, which if you didn’t register or write down somewhere you will be out of luck to track down.

Right click one of yur clips in the event browser and choose Transcode Media. Make a test project and playthat clip. See whether that solves your lag.

When I send an imessage with wifi it sends it from the original number I got with the phone before I ported my number over. When I send an imessage on the network it comes from my own ported number. How do I change the imessage so that it comes from my own ported number?

I have just inherited my husbands ipad, all transferred well except my hotmail account will not set up, I have read all forums but none have helped, keep getting "can not verify" when I try set it up. I have removed email and re added, turned on off iPad and iPhone but neither will set up, I have given up and forwarded all new emails from hotmail to icloud until I sort this out. SteveI think the app GroupMe might do what you want. You might also try contacting your carrier. My carrier offered some fancy group texting service for a while but they never really advertised it so, unless you asked, you never would have known. But, GroupMe is available in the app store. There are lots of other apps that also do group texting but it seems to be the one that gets recommended the most.

Fix Some Browser Pop-ups That Take Over Safari.
Common pop-ups include a message saying the government has seized your computer and you must pay to have it released (often called "Moneypak"), or a phony message saying that your computer has been infected, and you need to call a tech support number (sometimes claiming to be Apple) to get it resolved. First, understand that these pop-ups are not caused by a virus and your computer has not been affected. This "hijack" is limited to your web browser. Also understand that these messages are scams, so do not pay any money, call the listed number, or provide any personal information. This article will outline the solution to dismiss the pop-up.
Quit Safari
Usually, these pop-ups will not go away by either clicking "OK" or "Cancel." Furthermore, several menus in the menu bar may become disabled and show in gray, including the option to quit Safari. You will likely have to force quit Safari. To do this, press Command + option + esc, select Safari, and press Force Quit.
Relaunch Safari
If you relaunch Safari, the page will reopen. To prevent this from happening, hold down the 'Shift' key while opening Safari. This will prevent windows from the last time Safari was running from reopening.
This will not work in all cases. The shift key must be held at the right time, and in some cases, even if done correctly, the window reappears. In these circumstances, after force quitting Safari, turn off Wi-Fi or disconnect Ethernet, depending on how you connect to the Internet. Then relaunch Safari normally. A few months ago I purchased Snow Leopard, but realized too late that I already had Snow Leapord. What I need is Snow Lion upgrade. I did not open the software. Will they refund refund this or exchange it for the Snow Lion upgrade? Thanks!
All Updates to Snow Leopard are gotten from Software Update or from the Apple download site.
There is no Snow "LION". there is Lion and now Mountain Lion buit both of those are Download Only from the Mac App Store. You need to have Snow Leopard 10.6.6, .7 or .8 to have the Mac Apple store link on your Mac.
To get Lion you need to call the Apple Store, 1-800-MYAPPLE, and order it. They will send you a download code to your Apple ID Email address so you can download it from the Mac Appl Store.
Oh and when you call them to order Lion ask about returning Snow Leopard. -
I have three computers backing up onto the same Time Machine. The Hard drive of one has now failed, and I'd like to restore certain items (principally photographs) to one of the other two computers. How can I do this?
