I can't sign in to my iCloud in my mac laptop

im trying to sign in to icloud in my mac laptop and it wont let me sign in

I have just had this problem myself with iCloud and not being able to sign in, but my macbook Pro was brand new and right out of the box. it had the OS X Lion v.10.7.4. So, I called Apple, but they said they have never heard of this, but it has happened to many, many others. the Apple people could not help me, but where I go to university there is an awesome tech program and they were able to help me out... after 2 hours though of the techies searching the internet for answers...
SOLUTION:
be in your Finder and go to the menu bar.
open the "Go" option and go down to "Go to Folder..."
type in "~/Library/" and press enter.
then open the "Application Support" folder
delete the "iCloud" file/folder
try signing back into iCloud under System Preferences
*this is what has worked for me anyways ... and hopefully for you too.

It sounds like you are being prompted that your Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons, and even though you have reset the password, it keeps re appearing. If you have done all the steps outlined in the following article:

How can I sign out of my iCloud account from a macbook I no longer have access to?

I got a new macbook recently and neglected to sign out of my iCloud account on the old macbook before I erased and reset it. Now eveytime I open a new Safari page on my iPhone, both macbooks show up with the Safari windows that are still "open". I want to remove my old mac from my iCloud account and have removed it from Find My iPhone but the Safari link still shows up. This is driving me bonkers.

If you mean the iCloud tabs for your old Mac, these will normally be cleared after 14 days. Give it a couple of weeks and see if they don't disappear on their own.

"If you no longer have access to the device that shared the tab, the tab will automatically be cleared from the list after 14 days, if the tab is not updated."
Also, seeing the iCloud tab doesn't mean it's still signed into your account. It just means that the tab hasn't been cleared yet. If you completely erased it should no longer be signed into your account.

That would be because the licensed copy of iPhoto on your Mac belongs to your father. Only he can update the app. Was this once his Mac?

The iCloud storage isn't on your Mac; it's on Apple's servers, and content from it can't be run directly on a Mac. In addition, the 4GB figure is RAM and not drive space.

Can't find iTunes icon in iCloud on my Mac ??

I have a real mess. I was a mobile me user originally. Unfortunately when I signed up for Mobileme, I already had an appleid under my hotmail account. I had already bought many songs under the hotmail account, so I never used the mobileme email and I guess I continued using iCal. I wish they would have asked me if I already had an appleid before they just set up the mobileme apple id. Anyway, I transferred my mobile me acount to the cloud. Everything is pretty much working, I have email, calendar, address etc under my me.com appleid, and I have iTunes under the hotmail appleid. I have turned icloud on on my iPhone, and set it up on my Mac. I am only getting 68 songs from the iTunes library on my iPhone, and I believe that is becuz I did a manual sync. When I go to iCloud on my Mac, sign in under the hotmail. appleid, which is the one I use for music library, the only icons that come up on the menu are: mail, contacts, calendar, find my iPhone, and iWork. No iTunes icon (or library) WHY? how do I get iTunes into my iCloud on the mac?

At the moment I can only download a pfd file in my CMS, what should I do so I can open it as well? I use a mac laptop.

In this CMS my invoices are in pfd. At the moment I can't open it but only download it. There must be a way to open them as well but I can't find what and how to change it so I can open it as well.

Can't add layer markers on the fly with Mac laptop

I've been trying to figure this out for hours now!!! I'm on a Mac Intel Core 2 Duo laptop running 10.5.6. I'm using After Effects CS3 Professional. All I want to do is RAM preview an audio file from inside a composition, and add layer markers on the fly. Apparently this is easy with a desktop using the numeric keypad. I remapped the shorcut in the Preferences text file so that "Add Marker" is now F12 - nice and easy! (and no, it's not conflicting with the the OS Dashboard shortcut - I turned that off). In any case, I tried a number of others as well. The problem is, no matter what the shortcut, when I try adding the layer marker with the shortcut the file stops playing! So annoying! I want to add a number of layer markers timed to the beat, but as soon as I do the damned RAM preview stops! I can't mark key points in the composition!! Any help would be MUCH appreciated...

I want to re-map the numeric-keypad-star key so I can hit markers on the fly while ram previewing (my laptop has no numeric keypad), but I don't know what the shortcut is called in order to be able to find it to re-map it!! Can anyone tell me what the shortcut is called?
Also from this thread it seems even if I do re-map it may not work - can anyone tell me whether this will be the case for a PC? I'm using a Dell Studio 1557 Core i7 with Win7 64bit, running After Effects CS4

The fact that the email address doesn't exist anymore doesn't matter. As far as the Apple ID is concerned, the email address is just a user name. As long as you know the password you used, it should be fine.
