I can't snyc my music from my library in intunes on my computer to my 3g iphone, It gets stuck in the back up mode step 1 of 5

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes, Sync and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

Alright; first thing we need to confirm is do a full restore, and see if you get any kind of error message. During the set up assistant you then want to see if you have any backups in iTunes/iCloud by using this article to see where they are located

To verify that the backup finished successfully, open iTunes Preferences and select the Devices tab. The name of the device will appear along with the date and time the backup was created.

I currently have an iPhone 5, 16gb. I Do Not want to Loose any photos or albums by deleting them from my phone and not backing them up correctly. My iCloud backup is only storing my "Photo Stream" and I can not locate them in iTunes after I sync/Back up.

First of all, you should always save you photos on computer like any other digital camera.
Backup on iCloud or iTunes only backup your Camera Roll. The other photos should be already on the computer.
Note: Photos are not saved in iTunes, it's only a conduit between your iPhone and your photo managing software on computer.

You are talking about the menu bar of Itunes, right?
Yes. With iTunes open the menu bar is at the top of your screen.

After you authorize the computer connect your iPhone then follow the instructions here > iOS: How to transfer or sync content to your computer
When you are done transferring the data to the desktop, right or control click the iPhone under Devices left side of the iTunes window then click Back Up.
That way you will have a backup just in case you need to restore your iPhone.

Working on that now. I'm just getting frustrated that everytime I run updates for the phone I end up with tech problems that I have to spend time solving as opposed to updates that actually improve my usage. My iphone 4s froze last night and won't do anything. I have iOS7, my power button is not working, so I can't reset my phone. I've tried to restore through iTunes, but it's telling me to turn off find my phone. I can't do that if my phone does nothing

I've tried all that I know how to do. My power button quit working awhile ago so I use the Assistive Touch to lock my screen. Once my phone froze, the screen went black. The only thing I can do now on my phone is hold down the home key and Siri will beep but she says "not taking requests at this time, try again later." I can't reset my phone without the power key or the Assistive Touch button. I've tried plugging into iTunes to restore the phone but I get an error message to first go to Settings in my phone and turn off "find my iPhone." I can't do that either as nothing will come up on my screen.

If so, go to id.apple.com, manage apple id, sign in with current id, edit email back to the one showing in icloud settings. You can now sign out of icloud with your current password. Then back to id.apple.com, change your email back to the current one, verify it and sign back in to icloud.

I've looked on-line and it seems that many people are having the same problems. No, it's not my Internet connection or my computer. This is a software problem as my phone was working fine before it made me update and I've heard the same story over and over again. The update to ios5 messed up my phone. Now Apple should fix it. I can't restore my phone, just gets to the end then quits. It says " iTunes recognizes a phone in recovery mode" so it is being detected. I've tried this on many different computers, at different locations, through a wireless connection and connected directly. Please fix. Update: my PC USB hub was connected to a USB 3 port, I connected the 30 pin cable directly to my PC, And the restore worked just fine. Restored phone from iCloud backup and seems to be working fine.

Can't log into phones

We just installed a Lync environment with one Standard Edition server, one Edge, and a reverse proxy on IIS ARR.
Last week we were finally able to connect to Lync from the outside, through the edge, on the desktop Lync 2013 clients. I had to change our _sip._tls SRV record to use port 5061 rather than 443 to fix that.
The last roadblock now is that no one can log into their phones. It's not broken; no one has been able to do it yet as this is a new deployment.
The reverse proxy sure seems to be configured right. I followed the instructions on the NextHop article that I think a lot of people use. I've had MS review the config and they verified I have all the forwarding rules in the right places.
My lyncdiscover and lws rules are both forwarding to 4443 and 8080 as desired.
Yesterday they had me add lyncdiscover.mydomain.com to the internal DNS, which it wasn't in before. They had me point to the public IP, which is not pingable from the inside. Before I did that, I had it the non-natted IP. Neither of those
internal DNS records did anything to fix the problem.
On my Windows phone, when I have Auto-Detect Server set to On, it takes a minute and gives me this ambiguous error:
"We can't connect to the server. Check your network connection and server address, and try again."
So I turn off Auto-Detect Server, and put in
https://lws.mydomain.com as both the internal and external discovery addresses. I get the following:
"We can't sign you in. Please check your account info and try again."
That implies that my account info is wrong. Should I quadruple check it or is that not necessarily accurate? Furthermore, if my account info was wrong, why wouldn't it say that when auto-detect server is on?
I've only tried on my windows phone and an iPhone, haven't tried an android yet. The errors on the iphone are slightly different and just as not-working.
I don't know what piece of config I could try again. I can look at the logs on my windows phone but I don't know what I'm looking at.
We pass all the Microsoft Remote Connectivity analyzer tests with green check marks. It seems it couldn't be working any better now, except the fact that people can't log in to their phones. Is there a Remote Connectivity Analyzer for mobile
devices?
