I can't sync any music to my iPod Photo

I have reset it, and restore it several times, and every time I try to put music on it I receive this message:

So I have found a common denominator to this phenomenon. After having the same problem, I started to recopy my playlist of 500+ songs in groups of 10-20, 30+, 75+, and then over a 100+. Any music I have purchased from iTunes won't copy, but everything else did. Unsure if I made a playlist called "Purchased" at some point or this is an iTunes default, I also noticed it had some of the songs contained in my other playlist and was showing on my iPhone. Regardless of what I did such as dragging music from that playlist to the other and clearing songs from that playlist, I removed it altogether from the iPhone itself vs. doing through iTunes. After that, music copied fine to my playlist.
So, my theory is that iTunes is getting tripped up on purchased tracks already showing on the phone and all songs are showing grayed out/dotted circle because iTunes can't resolve the conflict with purchased tracks.

You'll want to copy the music from your iPod to your computer and into iTunes first. See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering some of the different methods and software available to assist you with this task. Once you have successfully copied all your content back to your PC and into iTunes, you can safely Erase and Sync your iPod.

I bought the macbook air and want to sync my music from my ipod into itunes. Of course its not letting me because it says if I want to sync it will erase everything. Is there anything I can do so I could keep all my music and still sync? I no longer have access to my old computer because it completely died on me.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion. Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to do this, not good, then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

In the case of Calendars, Contacts and Mail, they sync right. But when I try to sync my music, nothing happens. iTunes unmounts the iPhone in the exact moment that it is going to sync my songs.
The automatic sync I can't afford it, because I have 20 gb of songs in my Library. In the first sync, iPhone made immediatly a especial playlist in itunes, from which it is suppose to be sync from, right? I decided to arrange later that Playlist deleting some songs and let it below the 10 gb rate. And nothing happens, I have still empty the iPod app within iPhone 3G.

I have games on my ipod i did not put there and now i can't sync any music because it says it is full but it isn't

i have games on my computer that i did not put there.how do i delete them. now i can't sync anything because it says it is full.

What version iPod do you have? If it is an older click-wheel mode and the games that came with it then there is no way to delete them but they take up very little space.

You cannot transfer song files from iPod to computer using iTunes (except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store). However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
Once the song files are on your new computer, add them to your iTunes library. Then, you can sync the iPod and iPhone to that iTunes library.
NOTE: For any previous song purchases from the iTunes Store, you can re-download them at no cost from the iTunes Store Purchased screen. You need to be signed in using the same Apple ID used for purchasing.

Are you sure you have an iPod Classic? Your profile says iOS 5.1.1, which only runs on iOS devices, like the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

I can't get any music on my Ipod

I already do it manually.
I open up itunes, and try to put a certain song/album on my ipod. I try to drag it to the ipod thing where you drag it to. It won't let me, I use my laptop or my Mom's desktop so... I tried both and neither seem to work
Also, it doesn't seem to be downloading from itunes on the Ipod. I really need some new music tonight, I'm going on a three day vacation tomarrow
