I can't sync my desktop with creative cloud

When I try to sync files in my desktop it doesn't work.
There is no folder in finder

Thanks for confirming that. I'm also assuming that you have some files in your Creative Cloud Files on the web.
It looks like there is a problem communicating with the server. This could be because of firewall rules on your network. Are you able to connect to a different network to see whether you can sync there? For example, if you are currently trying to connect at work, could you try from home?
For us to investigate this more thoroughly, I'd be grateful if you could provide your log files, following the instructions below. Could you zip them up and send to me at [email protected]?
There's a separate log file for each day. Please send the most recent log file. Here's where to find the log files:
Mac:
/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CloudSync/CoreSync-2014-MM-DD.log
(where 2014-MM-DD is the date of the log)
Windows:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\CloudSync\CoreSync-2014-MM-DD.log

Can't open a file with creative cloud because "it was saved with a newer version of Adobe InDesign CS8.1"

Is there any way I can open this file? I am using creative cloud.

I'm not familiar with two many laptops, but assuming the screen, video circuitry and the OS also meet the minimum requirements to run the individual applications, etc., the safest and definitive way to find out is to install the trial.
The software should run, the question is whether you feel comfortable working on a laptop. I suppose you are, otherwise you wouldn't be asking.

Just in case the component being referenced is not part of iTunes but is rather part of one of the other related programs, it might be worth trying a complete uninstall/reinstall of iTunes and related componentry, as per the following troubleshooting document:

Last week I had to resync my Lightroom desktop with creative cloud. I can now see my images on the Lightroom website, but my ipad is not syncing with these images. Any help or advice out there?

Photoshop CC 2014.2.1 can't sync settings with Creative Cloud

Photoshop CC 2014.2.1 can't sync settings with Creative Cloud for some reason. I'm signed in, no firewalls, the router is fine. Other apps, Premiere Pro for example, sync without issues.
Photoshop keeps saying "Connecting to Creative Cloud..." with uploads starting, but nothing is happening. I've left it in this state for an hour just in case. Is there a workaround or a fix?

For what it's worth I have access to a second computer with the correct sync settings (which I synced to the Cloud, so the Cloud should now have my desired sync settings), but PS on my first computer still refuses to show anyway to apply these settings.
I'm downloading the 2014 release now but it shouldn't really be necessary. This is so frustrating, especially when the Adobe PS sync help page only applies to the 2014 release (I can't find any sync help for the previous versions anymore).

How can I sync my calendar with outlook

This question has a couple parts to it. First, I am self employed and use Outlook as my primary calendar. With my BB7 device this syncing issue was easy but I find it so hard with my new Z30. My email is a rogers.com email. I have 2 email accounts on my device (personal and business which are both rogers.com emails. How can I sync my calendar with outlook and allow changes made in both outlook or the device appear updated on both outlook and my device? When I make a calendar entry in my phone it prompts me to use either my groups, my work email, my personal email and then I see BLINK with the name of my office computer. What should I be using as my default calendar? The one that says BBlink-Computer name or my business email address? Secondly is there a way to sync all my calendar entries with outlook to avoid personal and business conflicts? That is my BBM group calendar entries, personal email calendar entries and my business calendar entries? I'm really baffled by all this. I keep being told I need to set up an outlook.com email address. Do I really need to do this? I prefer not to. Essentially, how can I make all my calendar entries show on my office outlook calendar so I can see everything to avoid scheduling conflicts and not need to check my device before booking an appointment in my desktop outlook? Lastly I have my outlook set to show me Canadian Holidays. How can I get these to appear in my device calendar? Please... This has been baffling me since I for my device about a month ago. I think (and I'll double check) only the BBLink events will sync on a wired USB sync. I'm fairly certain of that.
You'll need to use your calendar syncing via an EAS email account (outlook.com, for instance, is free) to sync wirelessly. It works great. I use it and was a former tied to the USB sync guy as well... and I thought I was gonna die a painful death without it. I found more freedom this way.
This explains the process. But I don't think you'll get BBM Groups to sync.

My changes to a duplicated page are not syncing up in the Creative Cloud. How can I fix this?

I'm using Adobe Proto on an iPad. I created one page and successfully viewed it in the Creative Cloud. Then I duplicated that 1st page so I could work on the next page in that project. I made some changes to the 2nd page and then synced the project with the Creative Cloud again.
Once I try to view the 2nd page in the Creative Cloud, it's still an exact copy of the 1st page. In other words, my changes on the 2nd page don't show up. I've tried synching the project many times and I get the same result. Tried opening the project from another browser, same result.
My changes to a duplicated page are not syncing up in the Creative Cloud. How can I fix this?

Yes, I'm 99% certain the project is being synced. If I duplicate more than the one page so that I end up with more than 2 pages, I still see every single page that I duplicated and made changes as the initial version of the page.
I duplicated that 1st page again so that I have 3 pages. I made changes to the 3rd one and I'm still not seeing those changes when I look at the page in Creative Cloud. I see the new, 3rd page, so that should mean the project is being synced, correct?

Can I use photoshop text styles and photoshop actions with creative cloud photography?

I'm really confused by this subscription pricing. If I purchase the $9.99/month, do I get the full desktop app of Photoshop and Lightroom? But I see on this page Products they list something called Photoshop CC that costs twice as much. How is that different from the Creative Cloud Photography?
My main question is whether I can use photoshop text styles and photoshop actions with Creative Cloud Photography, since I just purchased a bundle that includes these and I want to be able to use them. But I'd also like to understand what comes with all of the various products and how they are different.
My other question is how is Lightroom different from Photoshop? I have a sense of what you can do in Photoshop but I don't know much about Lightroom at all.
One more question: the free trial -- is it limited in any way besides the time length? If I do that, will I get a clear idea of all that I will be able to do once I subscribe, or are the functions limited in the trial?
I tried to just send an email to Adobe to ask these questions but apparently they are not interested in responding to emails from people who are not yet paying customers, so I was directed here. Thanks very much for your help!

What Adobe Bridge does:
Bridge is the coordinating hub of the Creative Suite. Synchronizing color management settings for all suite programs is done from Bridge, and can only be done from Bridge, to take one important use.
Bridge displays actual thumbnails of many more file types than Finder or Explorer. It also allows instant play of sound or video files more readily than the native OS file managers.
Bridge allows direct access to file metadata, to embed copyright information and keywords where appropriate (e.g., for corporate logo vector and raster files). It also displays the fonts used in an InDesign file, the swatches in an INDD or AI and the output plates (including spot color plates) they use.
When managing the assets for a design project, Bridge allows quick and simple sorting, rating and custom labeling (with color flash indications) of assets. I can rate images according to whether they are rejects, possibles, for review by client, or approved. The filters built into Bridge allow instant isolation of only the approved images or designs in a folder, only the rejects (for deletion) or only files with certain ratings, no matter how many files it contains. It recognizes aspect ratios, so if I only need a landscape or a 16:9 image in a folder of hundreds of images, I turn off the aspect ratios I don't need.
Once filtered, the remaining visible files can be selected and copied, moved, or deleted without affecting the rest of the contents of a folder.
Collections are a massively useful feature. One of my clients is a performing arts center, and in a season we turn out dozens of ads, flyers, brochures, web banners, playbills, billboards and other collateral using the same assets over and over. These assets are organized by artist and/or show on disk, but I set up each season's repeating assets as a Collection in Bridge, so that I just have to open the collection and drag and drop these assets into new INDD, AI, PSD, HTML (in Dreamweaver), FLA or AE projects without having to navigate from folder to folder picking up individual files.
Bridge's Favorites is another place I stack frequently-accessed folders, such as stock photography, backgrounds, and top-level folders for active projects.
Assets can be divided into subfolders, but a quick toggle of "Show items from subfolders" exposes all of the assets in a single view while maintaining their organization. I will typically keep AIs, PSDs, EPSs, stock photography and client images in separate subfolders within a project. When I'm ready to start pulling assets into an InDesign layout, I toggle this on and simply drag what I need into the layout.
Bridge comes with Adobe Camera Raw built in, which is many times faster than using Photoshop to adjust jpegs or tiffs for things like tonal range, white balance, cropping, spotting and sharpening, and is non-destructive.
One tremendously useful Bridge function for InDesign CS5+ users is the "Show linked files" feature, which opens all the linked files in a layout into a single view, regardless of where they are physically located. I often use this when doing alternative layouts from a client-approved mockup for a campaign, to be certain the same assets are used in each piece, or when creating a motion graphic or interactive piece for the campaign in After Effects or Flash.
The batch and image processing scripts built into Bridge automate things like creating web-ready small jpegs from multiple images, renaming large numbers of files in place or by copying to an alternative location, creating sets of PSD, png, jpeg or other file types from an assortment of image files, and so on.
Bridge is so much a part of my daily workflow that on my main workstation I have one monitor dedicated to it almost 100%. Bridge just sits open 24/7, ready for use. I would run at half speed without it, no question.

Can't sync via Desktop folder

My boss is having an issue with file syncing and I've been tasked with solving it. If he tries to sync files through the Creative Cloud Files folder in his Home folder, it fails with an "unable to sync" message. File type/name/size don't seem to matter as everything fails. If he uploads via the website it works fine AND shows up in the Creative Cloud Files folder as expected. It's only when trying to upload by placing files in the Creative Cloud Files folder that files fail. Tried logging out/in, turning sync off/on, no joy. He's running Mac OSC 10.8.4.

I have updated my iPhone 3s to the latest software. I had backed up my phone before I did this. Now I have lost my music and apps. I can't sync the phone with my Mac, I can't re-download as the phone says I don't have any music or apps available. Help!

I have updated my iPhone 3Gs to the latest software in an attempt to iron out a problem with a new telephone network provider (Tmobile). I had backed up my phone before I did this. I can't sync the phone with my Mac, I can't re-download from iTunes as the phone says I don't have any music or apps available to re-download although it all shows up on my Mac. The music and app content cannot be restored when I try to restore the phone from the back up I madeon my Mac. Help!

Working on that now. I'm just getting frustrated that everytime I run updates for the phone I end up with tech problems that I have to spend time solving as opposed to updates that actually improve my usage. Now I will once again get to spend hours reloading my phone all for updates that didn't affect my usage in the first place.

Linked Smart Object breaks a PSD after sync with Creative Cloud

After using a linked Smart Object inside a PSD and sync with Creative Cloud, the online version of file does not preview and does not work with any online feature, like Extract, Layers, or Anything else.

The preview seemed broken on the comments tab but the image was appearing for me under the Extract one. When I downloaded the original it looked like the linking was preserved. The online version didn't seem to denote in any way that the Cecinas layer contained a Linked Smart Object, which might be helpful, but it did have the preview. Here are some screenshots of what I was seeing. Thanks for posting about it. I'll pass it on to our engineering department.
