Firefox and Chrome stopped working for apparently no reason. IE works. Have tried proxys, firewalls, and restarting. NOTHING WORKS. Firefox is the oddest as there are no error messages, but just shows practically no movement. Only movement is a quick "loading spin" in the address bar, but then nothing. It's not just you, I can't authorise my phone. It seemed to go down just after I started the update (it wasn't my fault though). I am using chrome, and it does not seem to be a firewall issue, or the bannerblock issue that I read about else where, since I dont have that program installed. Strange though how the support forum is still running. If I go to http://www.apple.com/support I get nothing, but googling topics allows me to see em.

Just to clarify...
Did you know that by purchasing it in iTunes, you are purchasing the iOS version of Pages and Numbers? If you wanted the Mac version, it should be downloaded from the Mac App Store.
If you DID want to download a copy for an iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, then try purchasing these apps on one of those devices rather than iTunes and see if it works.

The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13+ versions. Uninstall that extension.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
* Check the Windows Control panel for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4

Mavericks downloads into the Applications folder, where you can install it. Some Mac App Store Troubleshooting information and how to resume a download that was interrupted; some of the information here might get you an answer. Failing that, try contacting Apple Support.

I've got the latest OS update, no jailbreak, or anything exotic on my 4s. What's more, when I try to make a call 2 out of 3 times, the dumb SIRI opens up and stops me from making the call. (and, yes, I have very carefully checked my process that I am not intentionally activating SIRI with my cheek.)

I can't download any applications on my macbook pro, it starts but then nothing happens

Every time I try to download any application, for example today I am trying to download Gimp for Mac, the window goes blank and in the browser it looks like it's loading but then nothing comes up. I have tried creating a new user account but the same thing happens when I download in that one. Can't write to file when double-clicking jar...

This issue has me stumped. I have a jar dssetup.jar... The manifest looks like the following...
Manifest-Version: 1.0
Main-Class: DSsetUp
Created-By: 1.3.0_02 (Sun Microsystems Inc.)
I also have a text file that I read and write to(this file is outside the jar):
datasource.txt
If I execute my jar from the command line, I can read and write to the file...no problem. However, if I double click my jar to run it, I can read the text file but cannot write to the text file. Has anyone seen this before?

.jar file is not a common file, it is compressed.

Number one - that person has given you false information...the Apple store genius bar supports all Apple products whether in or out of warranty. Checking is free, service on an out of warranty item is not free.
Try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears.
Since you show that you have iOS 7.0.3 you might want to update that iOS to 7.0.4...plug the iPhone in so you are on a solid power source, then while on a WiFi go to Settings > General > Software Update and update to 7.0.4.
