I can't sync my iPod with my Lacie hard drive but equally all my songs in the iTunes library are not accessible
I'm having the same problem with my 30GB U2 iPod. I used iSquint to convert my video, and it plays perfectly fine on my iTunes, but it just goes to a black screen when I try to play it on my iPod. The movie is in Mpeg-4 format, which is supposed to work on the iPod-- right?

You might consider itunes match for moving CDs you've copied into your itunes library if you dont have a way to use home sharing.

It scans your music library and if it finds music that is already in apple's itunes catalog it'll automatically "unlock"/"store" these in the cloud for you. If you connect your ipod to your computer then look in the hidden folder labeled "iPod_Control" . (This is on a Mac version, but i think it's the same for Windows) and in "Music" is all your music mixed up in different folders. Just drag the MUSIC folder onto itunes then BAM! It's done ;D

I found and downloaded TouchCopy 12 for PC and was able to copy the ringtones from my iPhone to my Windows laptop very easily. It also enables you to transfer photos, memos, voice messages, etc. -

iTunes only syncs with one computer/library at a time.
If you have failed to maintain a backup or no longer have the old computer, you may be out of luck.
iTunes purchases can be transfered from the iDevice. Connect the device, do NOT sync. Select File > Transfer Purchases.
This will only transfer iTunes purchases. All other media will not transfer and will be wiped from the device when it is synced with a new computer/library. -
