I can't sync Outlook 2007 with Blackberry 8700 - Calendar, Tasks, Notes

Hi folks,
I'm new to this forum. I just updated from MS Outlook 2000 to MS Outlook 2007 .. and now am only able to synchronize with the Address Book. I was able to synchronize all 4 items before: Address book, Calendar, Tasks, Notes.
Device manager - 4.2
BB 8700 - using Edge, v4.2.1.101 Platform 2.3.0.81
Is there anything I can do?

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
If your DTM is truly  4.2 (as in 4.2.0), then it is not compatible with Outlook 2007. See this matrix for compatibility:
http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB12268&sliceId=1&docTy...
You should update to a newer DTM version -- 4.7 is current -- here:

  • How can I sync outlook 2007 subfolders, contacts, and calendar to iphone 6

How do I setup to sync outlook 2007 subfolders, contacts, and calendar to iphone 6?
Inbox messages will sync but not the sent box from either outlook or iphone.  Also, outlook subfolders are showing up on iphone.

    Hi,
you don't need MobileMe or anything fancy. I personally sync my Outlook calendar and my Outlook address book with three computers (two at the office and one at home)and besides I run Office 2003 on one, Office 2007 on the other and Office 2010 on the third, so it can't get more complicated than that, but it works 100%.
First sync Outlook with iTunes on one computer, having done that when you try to sync it to another machine, iTunes will recognize that it is synced with another computer and ask you if you want to merge the data, say yes, That's all there is to it.
It does not work for music as you rightly say but as far as Calendars and Contacts are concerned it's flawless and transparent.
If you hit a snag talk back to me.
    Cheers.

  • Can't sync Outlook 2007 Calendar on iPhone 3G, iOS 4, iTunes 9.2, WindowsXP

I did upgrade my iPhone 3G to iOS 4.0 and iTunes to 9.2. Now I can’t sync Outlook 2007 calendar. Contacts and notes are ok.
I did try to sync on Windows XP SP3 and Vista SP2. I was unable to sync calendar on both computers.
I had this problem before with iTunes 9x. I was able to fix it creating a new PST file and copying all folders to this new file.
Now with iOS 4.x and iTunes 9.2 it doesn’t work. I did uninstall iTunes, clear the Windows registry, and delete all Apple folders. I also downloaded again iTunes and install it from zero. It didn’t work at all.
I also uncheck, check, recheck the Advanced options in iTunes to delete, doesn’t synchronize calendars, and contacts on iPhone… nothing works.
What else can I do to fix this pain? Any suggestion?
    Daniel

Same problem here. Just bought an iPhone 3GS, downloaded iTunes 9.2 and it crashes my Outlook 2007. Outlook simply stops responding, and I have to kill it. Won't even start in Safe Mode. I have to restart the computer to revive it. Next time I start iTunes -- CRASH!
I bought the iPhone because I wanted to sych my emails, calendars and notes. Do I have to return the iPhone now?

  • Can I sync Outlook 2011 with Apple contacts in the latest Mavericks like I used to do in OSX 10.8.5?

Can I sync Outlook 2011 with Apple contacts in the latest Mavericks like I used to do in OSX 10.8.5?

I might suggest you send links to download the attachments via DropBox or other similar source rather than include in an email.
    Example:  https://www.dropbox.com/s/vqyrdv4zblhjt7o/ShowLibraryMavericks.png
Have you looked at adding the attachements at the end of the message. Under Edit in the Mail Menu bar select Attachments.
Attachment Tamer might be worth a look but attachements are always going to be in the body part of the message.

  • I can't sync Outlook 2010 with iCloud.

I can't sync Outlook 2010 with iCloud. The iCloud Control Panel says to install Outlook even though I already have it. I am not given the option to to check the Mail, Contacts or Calendars boxes. How can I check the boxes so I can sync properly?...right now all my Calendar has duplicate items.

I believe you have right - the Add-in is the problem. Right now, my Outlook 2010 do NOT have the iCloud add-in. You mention something about downloading it - where can I find it ??  I have tested to uninstall and install again, nothing changes my syncing with Outlook 2010 after the initial setup has been done with iCloud.....

  • HT204053 how sync outlook 2007 with icloud?

how do I sync outlook 2007 on my (PC window 7) with icloud to appear on my mac and iphone.?

If you have Outlook 2007 or higher, set up iCloud on your PC as explained here: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/pc.html and enable syncing for contacts, calendars, etc. with Outlook
If you don't want to sync your PC with iCloud but only want to get your Outlook contacts in iCloud, create a Gmail account, then export your Outlook contacts to Gmail (see http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/export-your-contacts-from-outlook -and-use-them-in-google-gmail-HA104035604.aspx?CTT=1), then export the contacts from Gmail as a vCard (see https://support.google.com/mail/answer/24911?hl=en) and import it to iCloud (see http://support.apple.com/kb/PH3605).

  • Palm T|X Windows XP Outlook 2007 .iCal and handheld calendar do not sync

    Hi there,
I have a Palm T|X that I am running with a Windows XP Pro PC. I recently upgraded to Outlook 2007 so that I could access an iCal calendar. I downloaded the new Palm Outlook 2007 conduits upgrade. My contacts, notes, tasks and calendar are set to sync with Outlook and as far as I can tell, those features are all working fine.  I have Palm Desktop (version 4.2.0). When I HotSync, it says that everything was sync'ed properly. When I create new events in Outlook or on my handheld calendar they synchronize fine. However, the events from my iCal subscription do not appear on my handheld calendar even though they do appear on Outlook.
Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.  I apologize if this is a sync problem and not a problem with Outlook 2007/Palm conduits.

  • Help! Can't sync Outlook 2007 contacts & calendar with iPhone 5 or iPad Air

After upgrading software on iPhone 5 & iTunes, I can no longer sync any contacts or calendar from Outlook 2007.
I have been syncing happily for years, but just this week after downloading software updates for iPhone 5 and iTunes, I can no longer sync.
Music and Podcasts and even notes appear ok, but no contacts or calendar.
At one point, I managed to get the calendar to appear but no contacts; then on a later attempt, the calendar completely disappeared from my iPhone and Outlook - with no USB connection at the time. I had a backup, but strange!
I have tried the following with no success (most tips picked up from this forum):
    Reset sync and tried again
    Reset my phone to be a new phone; deleted everything - no success;
Ensured my default account on outlook was the same standard account as before
Deleted all the addons in Outlook except for iTunes (though iCloud keeps coming back!)
I have run malware software and found nothing
I have shut down and restarted many many times!
    I am syncing via USB.
Please help!! I have spent hours trying to get this to work.
    Thank you!

By any chance are you running any Eset security software products (like Nod32) on that PC?
If so, there's a couple of alternatives.
Either try the procedure in Samoreen's post:
Re: iTunes 11.1.4.62 freezes while syncing with Outlook
Or, see if you can get hold of the Eset beta addressing the problem. As Samoreen notes in another post:
ESET have a workaround for this issue. They gave me access to a test version of the HIPS module and this fixed the problem. So I could re-enable the ESET_OPTIONS environment variable (although I still consider that it's a questionable idea). I upgraded to iTunes 11.1.5.5 and there was no problem.
So maybe you should get in touch with ESET support and request the new module ? Just send a message to Marcos in the ESET forum.

  • Can't sync Outlook 2007 e-mail

    Hello everyone,
I just bought a Blackberry bold. I don't have a wireless account, since I only wish to sync my e-mail at home (Vista, Outlook 2007) and carry it with me. Now, I can sync everything (calendar, task, ...) with Outlook 2007, except my e-mail! Furthermore, I also don't have an option to schedule a meeting, I assume since there is no linked e-mail account. These are two simple but vital things that my old Axim Pocket PC from Dell could do without problems, but my new shiny Blackbeery seems to have a hard time with. Could someone please help me out?
    kind regards,
    Rodrigo

You can't sync or reconcile email without having a BlackBerry Enterprise Service plan on your carrier account.
You can't send meeting requests to the BB without a Data Plan, either. BIS would work for this.
The BlackBerry is working as intended.

  • Can't Sync Outlook Calander with Curve 9300 when using Outlook Connector

Sorry I know there is a simple answer but I can't find it.  I use Outlook 2010 with my hotmail account using hotmail connector.  The calander will not sync and the message I get is "Unable to access local folders.  If your Outlook profile uses Hotmail connector, you must create a local data store (PST) and set it as the default delivery location for the profile".  I simply do not understand what this means and how I do it.  Please help?

Hi Paul111000 and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums!
Windows Live™ Hotmail® connector is not supported for synchronization with the BlackBerry® Desktop Software.
    Thanks.

  • Can't Sync Outlook 2007 Calendar Data - Contacts OK??

    Hi Folks
I've been trawling this forum and know of a few similar posts but none referring to the use of the current version of iTunes in combination with Outlook 2007 (Part of Office Enterprise Edition Plus 2007).
Since upgrading to MS-Outlook 2007 I can no longer sync my calendar with Outlook. This is very odd as iTunes spends a great deal of time telling me that's what it's doing, however in reality, all it's doing is sync my contacts over. This feature used to work OK with Outlook 2003 (before you suggest - I'm not looking to downgrade). Does anyone else experience this issue and have you found a fix?
    F.Y.I.
    iTunes ver: 7.0.2.16
iPod 5th Gen Rom ver: 1.2.1
    Windows XP Pro SP2
    McAfee SecurityCenter ver: 7.1
    Many Thanks
    Jay
(PS. Apple: PLEASE PLEASE, it’s about time you fixed iTunes not to freeze up so long or crash when it's busy. This never happened with iTunes 6.x!, this version is the slowest most crash ridden version I’ve ever experienced in the last 4+ years of iPod owning!),

Suddenly today this works...?? and nothing changed at my end? No idea why or what's changed. I assume MS have patched something in the background as I've not seen any updated versions to both iTunes or iPod.

  • Can't sync Outlook 2000 with new Pearl

I just bought the 8110 Pearl and I'm trying to sync my Outlook 2000 calendar with my phone.  Unfortunately Outlook doesn't come up as an option to sync with when I attempt to set it up that way using the Blackberry Desktop Manager.  Really appreciate any help you can lend.
Also BTW, I don't have have my phone set up for email.  I will be using just for use as a phone and texting. Not sure if that matters.  Thanks for you help!

The Desktop Manager stopped being compatible with Outlook 2000 starting with Desktop Manager 4.3. The latest version that supports Outlook 2000 is version 4.2 Service Pack 2.
You can download it from here: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22

I'm on XP. I'm able to sync contacts but not the outlook calendar. I had the same problem with my iPod. I tried reinstalling iTunes and checking COM add-ons but nothing has worked. Any suggestions as I need my calendar on a daily basis. Thanks,

  • Can't sync Outlook folder with 6021

    Hi All,
Windows XP Pro SP2, PC Suite version 6.81.13.0, bluetooth connection.
I was able to synchronize the folders just once. During synchronization I received an icoming call and since then (a few days now) I am unable to get it to work again...
I have uninstalled and reinstalled every piece of software/hardware that is related to synching via bluetooth, but I got nowhere... Please give me a clue as to what I should do here.. I don't mind running the software in debug mode if it is accessible in any way.
(*) The problem I describe is very similar to the one described in the following thread
Please help me.. somebody.. anybody... I'm pulling a lot of hair on this one..
    Thanks.

I think the last syncronisation session was interrupted with something (normally an incoming call does not disturb sync, but maybe this time it did) and what you now have in your phone is a syncronisation log that is corrupted (I cannot be sure of course, bu that is my pet).
You have a S40 device and I don't think there is debug softwares available for it for normal users. I maybe wrong though, you can find loads of interesting stuff in the internet, but putting that to your phone is kind a harsh also.
(I am assuming you have made a battery boot to your phone already)
