I can't text one person

I can't text or receive texts from one person. That person is not an IPhone user.

If a non-iPhone user doesn't receive your text messages, and vice-versa, their device may not be compatible with iMessages.
This article has a method to deactivate iMessage, which should allow you to communicate with them via text:

Symptoms
This article will provide assistance if you're experiencing any of the following symptoms:
You are unable to receive SMS on your non-Apple device when sent from another person using an iPhone.
You are unable to send SMS to a non-Apple device because they are sent as an iMessage.
Resolution
If you are experiencing one of the symptoms above, the cellular phone number may still be registered with iMessage.
iMessage is registered with your cellular telephone number when you turn it on with your iPhone. If you want to deregister your phone number:
Tap Settings > Messages and turn iMessage off

Yes, you can.
First create a chat room with you and the new person.
Then select all of the content you wish for Person B to see and forward it to them. Tada

You have 2 activations and the licenses is tied to you personally and you only. You cannot let other people use your software (unless they are family).

The text preview shows up as the person I did NOT want to text, but when I open it, it shows the person I DID want to text.

sms's are charged by the sms internet data is charged by megabyte
so apple make their message system so sms's sendt while connected to the internet were
sendt by email to the contact rather then by the more expensive sms option

Can more than one person change a published calendar

Say you want to publish a calendar for a group and want to give access to everyone to make changes but also want those updates to be reflected on everyones ical within the group, is this possible?

At present, no, you can't have more than one person edit a published calendar. But with the release of OS X 10.5 you can, if you get the server version. At least that's what the latest word is.

Hello I can receive texts from my friend but I can't reply back everytime I try I Get this message:

I can't text a person that use to have an iPhone. how to fix?

My brother use to have an iphone a few years ago. I was able to text him since he switched to Android. Now all of a sudden I can't text him. I am assuming it has someting to do with imessaging. I am able to receive texts from him. Help please!! (Also he does not remember apple id or password so trying to disable it that way is impossible have tried to recover both many times)

How does he not know his username/password if he's using an iPod Touch?
Anyways, he can go to iforgot.apple.com to try to recover his username/password.
Failing that, he can call Apple Account Security, verify his identity, and then they can provide him with his Apple ID, but not his password. He'll have to have access to his email address for that.

On my iphone I no longer have an icon for messaging on one of my contacts. I can still text that person and have his phone number but what happened to the icon?

One of my contacts no longer has an icon for texting. It show the phone icon and his number is still present. I can still send and receive texts from this person but what happened to the "balloon" icon?

Texting one person but it goes four others also! (at least)

So I sent a short text to my wife's cell and it went to her plus my two daughters and one son (adults) and to someone else not even in my contact list but is in my son's list.   He has an Iphone.
It has now done this three times. On this occassion an hour earlier I texted my wife it went only to cell as far as I can tell.
I have a 9800 on the telus network.
four of the phones that received the message are not Blackberry phones at all, the fifth one I don't.   Some are telus and Rogers but am not sure about all of them.
The only way I know it has done is by the questions I get sent back like "huh" "?" "Wrong Number" and so on
When it does it look back to see what I have sent and some of the communicates I sent is not there and I know I was texting to the right person because I always check the top of the screen to verify the correct person.
This has happened three times so far in the past three weeks.   I usually text on average 5 times a day?????
Does anyone have a solution for this.   My IT person says stop texting!?!?

I'm sorry you're getting the +1 error message! Apple is working on a bug fix for this issue, fingers crossed it is corrected soon!
There is a work around that has helped many iPhone users experiencing this:
1. Delete the affected contacts from your phone
2. Delete the entire conversation thread
Next:
Go to Settings> General> Reset> Reset Network Settings (this will delete any saved Wi-Fi passwords; no other data)
Once the phone reboots, add the contact back to your device and start a new message thread.

Can't text one contact?

I have a verizon droid maxx my brother has a at&t iPhone we cannot text each other? When I text him it shows its sent but he does not receive anything? I do not have his number blocked. He has his imessager shut off and I do not receive his texts either? We can call each other? I got a new phone in May but it the same as my old one. This problem did not stat till about mid July. We each tried resisting our phones. We each deleted each other out of our contacts and tried that way did not help? His wife also has an iPhone on the same plan and carrier as him and i can text and receive texts from her? I need some help please. Thank you
