I am having the same problem as of this morning on my Blackberry.!!!!
I am under manage connections, I have all boxes checked off, but the mobile network doesn't stay checked just the wifi and bluetooth.  I have gone under mobile network options and "data services" is on, "roaming" is on ....
It's not letting me turn this "radio" on ...where is it?
Can I reset my phone?
Ugghhhh this is soooo annoying!
Thank you for who ever can try and help with my Blackberry Curve...
Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Best!

  • CAN NOT TURN ON WIRELESS RADIO

Wold you help me please?  Mine's a V200.  I can not remember what happened but I can not turn on the wireless radio on.  It says the hardware is turned on (the switch is always on), but when I press Fn5 and click ON, nothing happens.  Is there a software I may have accidentally removed?

    Try reinstalling your drivers.

I play music from my iPhone via Bluetooth on the car radio. The phone also connects over the radio. Can I turn off Bluetooth for phone and leave it on for music?

I haven't tried it yet, but I believe this would disconnect Bluetooth for both the phone and music. I have a 2013 Hyundai Sonata if this will help.

Cannot turn on Wi-Fi Radio on home network

airport is off how can i turn it on?
Click on the AirPort icon in the OS X menu bar. Select "Turn Wi-Fi On" or "Turn AirPort On" as appropriate.
how can i reinstall mac os x 10.6.7?
I would suggest that you start with the Snow Leopard installation disk. You can then update to 10.6.7 from Software Update.

    Hi,
You may not have a wireless network adapter.
If it is not in Network Adapters and you have no Device Manager errors or disabled devices under Network Adapters then that would be the case.

  • How to turn streaming radio off

I am having turning streaming radio or Pandora off when using OS4. The stream doesn't go off when switching to another app. I can't see an on/off button in the radio or Pandora app. I like using multple apps but would like to turn off the stream.

The app has a play/pause button that will stop it. If it's in the background, you can double click the home button and scroll left to get to the audio controls.

  • HT5470 I can't get the radio to work on my Ipod Nano 7.

I can't get the radio to work on Ipod nano 7.  When I go to the radio screen the following happens 1) the radio screen appears in the backgound with a small rotating icon at its center for few seconds, 2) the screen go blank and small apple icon appears at the center of the blank screen for few seconds, and 3) the home screen reappears. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply.  It turns out my ipod nano was defective.  For some reason it rebooted every time the radio button was pressed.  I tried a software restore and that failed.  Since the unit was just a few days old I was able to exchange it at the retailer.  The FM radio on the new unit works great.

  • Can I turn off phone and sms function?

Sometimes I want to watch movies without interruption. Can I turn off all the phone, sms, e-mail function and turn on only video? Just like iPod touch? If yes, how to?

You can go in and activate Airplane Mode which essentially turns off the radios (3G, Edge, Wifi, etc.). No phone calls will come through obviously.
This should allow you to watch movies without any interruptions. Obviously things like alarms will still function though.
    Regards,
    Brian

My Blackberry tells me I need to "turn the radio on".
I cannot receive my e-mail, etc as I have in the past.
Please tell me how to turn the radio on?

    hello,
you need basic information about how to use your device. It can be found for free here :
    http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/blackberry101/
    with animated screenshots.
you can also open the Help on your BlackBerry device.
home screen >> Manage Connections >> radio >> hit the space bar to tick the box.
The search box on top-right of this page is your true friend, and the public Knowledge Base too:

  • Unable to turn on radio

I recently bought a BlackBerry 8230 for Verizon. I charged the battery and turned on the phone and it would not pick up signal. At the top of the screen is says service required and has an X next to the signal indicator. I am running OS 4.6.
I've tried pulling out the battery, going into manage connections and turning it on (the box never will check) and tried to register in the host routing tables all to no avail. I've also tried wiping the device and restoring the OS. Any ideas anyone? Thanks

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
If you cannot turn the radio on, then there is nothing else it can do. Since it's brand new, I suggest you take it back...there's no need to fuss with something brand new that isn't working.
    Good luck!

  • Global Escapade phone - can I turn off data?

I am traveling to Europe. I called Verizon Global Services and they sent me this global flip-phone called the Escapade as a loaner.
Fine with me, but one question. Can I turn off the data feature? It's going to cost loads of money (something like $20 per MB!) if I use data services.
It seems if I hit the top button in the D-pad, it launched some sort of Web browser. This is not good -- it seems like it's sending data merely at the touch of a button. And it's really easy to accidentally hit that button.
I don't need this or watnt this. Seems like a sneaky way for Verizon to make a quick buck off of me.
Is there a way to completely disable data capability on the Escapade? I know it can be done on my Droid.

Just put your phone in Airplane mode. This turns off all iPhone radios, but you can go back into settings & turn both WiFi & Bluetooth back on. Data roaming should be off by default: Settings>General>Network...
