I just got the new ipad air but i can't turn it off.Which button is the off button.
Hold the Sleep/Wake button down until you see the red slider.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

Your iTunes account won't include your non-iTunes purchased e.g. music copied from CDs etc, nor photos that were synced from a computer.
To get non-iTunes music you will have to go via a computer. If you don't have that music on, for example, an external drive, then there are some programs listed half-way down this page which should be able to copy them back from a device : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991
For photos that were originally synced from a computer then there are apps such as Simple Transfer which can copy them between devices and/or to a computer (though photos are 'optimised' as part of the syncing process, so if you do copy them back to a computer then they might not be the same as they were on your laptop).

I can't find a definite answer anywhere regarding whether or not you need to turn the iPad mini off before charging. So my question is should I turn the iPad mini off or leave it on before charging? Thanks in advance.
I rarely if ever turn my iPad off. I charge it when the battery is low or at night while I'm sleeping. Even then I close the Smart Cover and let it sleep but I do not turn it off. It doesn't matter when you charge the iPad.
The most efficient way to charge the iPad is to use the charger that came with it and plug that into a known good wall outlet. -

for the devices to find each other via Bluetooth you would need to turn on the iPhones cellular hotspot and then let them search for each other. As far as I have found this Bluetooth connection is only for connecting the iPad to internet via iPhones data plan.
To transfer photos you could setup a new photo stream and put the photos you want transferred in it. When it syncs to the iPad you can save directly to the camera roll and delete the photo stream. You may also be able to delete the photos old photos and re-add them to photo stream so it looks like they are new to the iPad. -

Or you can just put the iPad in Airplane mode (Settings > Airplane Mode 'on', or if it's a wifi-only model just turn Settings > Wi-Fi 'off') which will disconnect it - I tend to just turn wifi off, I rarely turn my iPad completely 'off'.

How can I connect my Ipad Air to my PC to see the Ipad screen on the PC?
I have connected them via the Ipad to a LIGHTNING DIGITAL AV ADAPTER-ZML connected to a APPLE HDMI TO HDMI CABLE (1.8 M)-ZML, and to the HDMI port on the PC. But now I don't know how to show the Ipad screen on the PC, as if it was a monitor / screen, so that I can then use Lync and share my PC screen with people virtually.

My iPod touch screen just turned a white-ish green color and I can't turn it on or off. Boudy,The quick answer is, hook up the tv to the computer, close the lid, then wake the computer up by clicking the mouse while the lid is closed. Not sure if it'll work while running windows, but I'd bet it does if you have the mac drivers installed on the win os.
