I Can't uninstall pc suite 5.1

HEEEEELlllPPP
I'vr tried the conventional uninstall routes, it starts to use the wizard then it just disapears. when i try it in 'add or remove software' it doesn't have a tab to remove it.
I've tried all options on pc suite cleaner 3.6 still nothing, exept error messages because it can't clean files because there locked by windows and after a reboot all i get is error about not deleting files from the sysreg32 files ending in.....NclIVTBTMM.dll etc etc.....
can anyone tell me where to go next?

Hi auchinleck
You could try using Windows Installer Cleanup Utility msicuu2.exe from Microsoft.
When you run this utility, a window will open that lists all of the programs that you have installed; it looks a little bit like the add/remove program window. Select appropriate Nokia programs and run the utility; now go back to Add/Remove programs in Control Panel and try again to remove them.

  • Please Help.  I can't uninstall Creative Suite 1.1

    Hi,
I'm trying to uninstall Adobe Creative Suite through Programs and Features in Windows Vista, but everytime I try to uninstall it, I get an error right after I double click on the Adobe Creative Suite to unistall it.  This is the error that comes up immediately.
"Adobe Creative Suite Installer 1.1 has stopped working"
"A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
The Creative suite was bought years ago throug Adobe.  I've removed everything else adobe in the uninstall program, but can't uninstall this Creative Suite. Is there another option for removing it?  Do I need to manually remove the folders and registry entries?  If so, does anyone have any info they could give me to help?
Thanks!  And again, any help would be greatly appreciated!
    -Chris

    Hi Michael,
Sorry, I should have mentioned that I did try using the Microsoft Installer Clean Up tool but once it was installed, I did not see anything with Adobe in there.  The Adobe Creative Suite file does still show up in the uninstall programs screen.  Also, I did check the adobe file folder and the program files are there and have not been deleted or uninstalled.
Anyone else have any other ideas?
    Thanks in advance!

  • How can I uninstall Creative Suite 5.5

I'm trying to uninstall Creative Suite 5.5 but am getting an error message:  Installer failed to initialize.  Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem.  When I do so I get a message that the Adobe Support Advisor has been discontinued.  Please help!  (uninstalling a program should never be this complicated!)
    Many thanks.

If you have problems uninstalling, try using the Adobe Cleaner tool:
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6

  • Can't uninstall CS5 suite! Pleaes help.

I was having trouble with Fireworks crashing when I tried to save files.  After reading posts on the Adobe Fireworks forum, I trashed the Adobe Applications Spport files in my user Library, because many users said this fixed the problem.  Now, when I try to open Fireworks or other Adobe programs, I get this message: Configuration error: please uninstall and reinstall the product.  So, I read Adobe's instructions for uninstalling, which said to "Navigate to /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers. Double-click the Adobe Creative Suite product uninstaller" I see an uninstaller for CS4 (which I still haven't uninstalled). However, there is no icon that says "CS5 uninstaller."  So, I click on the Adobe CS5 Design Premium folder, and I get this message: "The alias Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium can’t be opened because the original item can’t be found." I reinstalled the original Adobe application support files using Time Machine, and they now appear to be in the Library/Application Support folder, but I just can't seem to find a way to uninstall the CS5 suite so that I can reinstall it.  I want to use the Adobe Cleaner Tool, which I plan to download. Can I use that tool to uninstall programs?  I'm backing up my hard drive first.  PLEASE HELP!  I'm lost without my Adobe suite!

Since you have trashed the uninstall related information so the uninstaller will not work. You can however follow any of the following steps to re-install CS5 suite -
    1) Install the product, or
    2) first run Adobe Cleaner Tool and then Install the product
You may use Adobe Cleaner Tool in this case but for normal un-installation always run the uninstaller from '/Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers'.

  • Can't uninstall Creative Suite after system restore

I recently performed a system restore on my windows 8 machine. This brought back my creative suite 5 which i previously uninstalled. Now I can't remove it because the uninstaller seems to be having problems. It wont show me any of the items to uninstall, hence, I cant remove any of the products from the bundle. Is there any other way to uninstall the product? thanks!

The uninstaller might have gone corrupt due to the files missing. Run the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html and remove the files from there.
Once removed, delete the temporary files(Run->%temp%) and empty the Recycle Bin as well.
    Check if that helps.

  • With CS4 installed already, can I uninstall InDesignCS3 without affecting the CS4 suite?

With CS4 installed already, can I uninstall InDesignCS3 without affecting the CS4 suite?
InDesignCS3 was downloaded from the internet. CS4 suite was installed from CDs. Both are currently on my computer. How can I uninstall InDesignCS3?

Just use the add/remove programs feature in the control panel, but I would strongly suggest that you don't do this. If you ever need to supply a CS3 file you'll be sorry you uninstalled it.

  • How can I uninstall old versions of Adobe Illustrator?

How can I uninstall old versions of Adobe Illustrator?

This is for uninstalling CS2, but you might find it helpful. EDITED: but watch out, since I don't know if trashing any of these will remove currently needed Illustrator files, if you have a later version.
To uninstall Adobe Creative Suite in Mac OS 1 -- Double-click Activity Monitor.app in Applications/Utilities, select AHCRemind, and click Quit Process.
2 -- If you intend to install the product on a different computer, transfer the activation. (See “To transfer the product activation” on page 1.)
3 -- If you want to uninstall Adobe Acrobat, double-click the uninstaller in Applications/Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional, and follow the on-screen instructions.
4 -- If you want to uninstall Version Cue 2, double-click the uninstaller in Applications/Adobe VersionCue CS2, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Note: If the Version Cue uninstaller fails, see the alternative procecure, “To remove Version Cue manually” on page 4.
5 -- From the Applications folder, drag the following items, if present, to the trash: Note: After you drag the items to the trash in steps 5-8, you must empty the trash before you can reinstall
Adobe Creative Suite 2 on the same computer. • Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional • Adobe VersionCue CS2 • Adobe Bridge
    • Adobe GoLive CS2 • Adobe Illustrator CS2 • Adobe InDesign CS2 • Adobe Photoshop CS2 • AdobeHelpCenter.app
6 -- From the Utilities folder, drag the following items, if present, to the trash: • Adobe Utilities • Adobe Updater.app
7 -- From the Library folder, drag the following items, if present, to the trash: • Application Support/Adobe/AdobeHelpData • Application Support/Adobe/Assistance • Application Support/Adobe/StartupScripts/Workflow Automation Scripts

8 -- From the Users/[user name] folder, drag the following items, if present, to the trash: • Library/Preferences Panes/Opera Preferences
    • Library/Caches/Opera Cache
    • Documents/AdobeStockPhotos
To remove Version Cue manually (Mac OS only, not recommended)
If you’ve accidentally removed parts of the Version Cue installation manually or if the uninstaller fails, you have to remove the remaining installed Version Cue components manually.
1 -- From the Library/PreferencePanes folder, drag the Version Cue CS2.prefPane folder to the trash. 2 -- From the Library/Preferences folder, drag the com.adobe.versioncueCS2.plist file to the trash. 3 -- From the Library/StartupItems folder, drag the AdobeVersionCueCS2 folder to the trash. 4 -- From the Applications folder, drag the Adobe Version Cue CS2 folder to the trash.
5 -- From [user home]/Library/Preferences/Adobe, drag the Workflow folder to the trash. 6 -- (Optional) From the [user home]/Documents folder, drag the Version Cue folder to the trash.

  • How to uninstall Ovi Suite from N97?

  • My Microsoft Office 2004 stopped working after upgrading to MT.  How can I get it to work, or, how can I uninstall MT?

My Microsoft Office 2004 stopped working after upgrading to Mountain Lion.  How can I get it to work again, or, how can I uninstall MT?

Office 2004 Applications Won't Work in Lion
You must have Office 2004 which is a PPC-only suite and will not work in Lion. You need to upgrade to Office 2011 - Mactopia - or you can try the freeware suite, Libre Office, that is functionally similar to Office 2007 for Windows except it works on Lion.
You may want to consider as well:
These two suites are similar to Libre Office but not as current or as well-supported:
    NeoOffice
    Open Office
And, then there is Apple's iWork suite:
Pages - word processing and layout
    Keynote - presentation
    Numbers - spreadsheet
Each can open and save Office compatible files. They may be purchased separately via the Mac App Store for $19.99 each.
(Access to the Mac App Store requires Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or higher and an Apple ID.)

  • Problem uninstalling PC Suite

    Hi
I'm running XP SP2 and PC Suite version 6.84 for my Nokia 7373
I experienced a cable driver problem (or so I assumed. My phone was no longer being recognised by the suite. then it stop recognising the bluetooth connection as well) and tried to uninstall the suite. When I try to uninstall I get the message "Installation operation failed. This patch package could not be opened. Verify that it exists and that you can access it...blah blah"
When I try the repair option I get "There is a problem with this windows installer package... blah blah"
When I try to reinstall over the top I get "A network error occurred trying to read from file C:\Windows\Installer\Nokia\Connectivity_Cable_Driver"
I'm in serious danger of throwing my pc out of the window. Any help?

    Hi kate74
You could perhaps try clicking on "Repair" for PC Connectivity Solutions in Add/Remove programs firstly.
If no success try using Windows Installer Cleanup Utility "msicuu2.exe" from Microsoft.com and run this. You need to select "PC Connectivity Solutions" and "Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver" programs. You should now be able uninstall it.
    Reboot your PC.

  • Can I uninstall Bridge?

I have the master collection, but at the moment only installed the design suite programs (because I don't have time to load it all on yet) And I was wondering with the programs I installed if uninstalling bridge will corrupt or make problems for any other programs that are on. I originally wasn't planning on installing bridge because it's such a memory hog, and just plain pointless in my opinion (another story for another day), but it didn't give me the option which was kind of frustrating.
If anyone could tell me if it will be okay to uninstall bridge, you would be helping me out a lot. Thank you.

You can't uninstall Bridge without jumping through hoops.
You don't mention if you have CS4 but if you do I suggest that, rather than messing with your system, you seriously consider learning what Bridge can do – it's vastly improved.
And, correctly configured on a correctly configured computer, it is NOT a memory hog.
You must be doing something wrong!

  • How to uninstall CS6 suite when moving to CC

So I downloaded all the CC apps and installed them and now I was to uninstall the CS6 apps to free some space on my HDD.
I had CS6 with creative cloud subscription, and not a disk version, so when I go in the application/utilities/adobe installers folder I don't have a uninstall cs6 icon but only icons to uninstall the software one by one, like uninstall photoshop, or uninstall after effects...
So my question is; has anyone in that situation found out a way to uninstall all the CS6 apps at once instead of doing it one by one.
    Thanks.

    Hi antoinefromparis,
If the CS6 installed on your machine is a part of subscription and not a part of Suite and has been installed using Application Manager then you will only have the option to uninstall it one by one. We can only uninstall CS6 at once if it has been instaled as a part of suite.

  • How Can I Uninstall Thinkvantage Password Manager?

How can I uninstall or disable this without compromising my fingerprint reader?
Failing that, how can I remove an application so Password Manager no longer tries to "help" me with its password?

I've just upgraded to Windows 7, and I've yet to activate the Client Security software, so I can't be specific on what may have changed from Vista.
In the Vista version of Password Manager, I recall there was an "Options" or "preferences" item in the menu bar of the program. Within the options then displayed, it was possible to switch off the manager's recognition of Windows programs' password entry, or for internet browsers' password entry, and maybe one or two other classes of programs. So in your case, switching off recognition of all Windows programs might do it.
Oh, one more thing: I'm pretty sure both Password Manager and the Fingerprint Manager are dependant on the Client Security Solution (CSS) software package installation, since the latter contains the bits and pieces of the framework that connects them all together with the "Trusted Platform Module"  (TPM), the hardware encryption device that's soldered onto the main board of the notebook, as well as the biometric hardware.
Since the CSS has these dependencies (while using the TPM drivers provided in Windows), it's really an all-or-nothing proposition: either you use it, or you switch entirely to another security suite solution vendor such as UPEK, who will use their own security framework, password manager, and fingerprint software.
Windows 7 is significantly more flexible than Vista here: for instance the UPEK security suite uses the "Windows 7 Biometric Device Framework", meaning that any hardware device with drivers for that framework will work "out of the box" with the UPEK security suite, while Vista still depends on manufacturer's device driver kits--e.g. with Vista, the UPEK suite will only support UPEK fingerprint hardware, not the Authentec devices installed on some Thinkpads.

  • I can't uninstall CS4

I migrated to a new macbook pro... none of the adobe products worked... says "licensing for this product has stopped working"
so I did everything listed on this page... "Error "Licensing has stopped working" | Mac OS"
none of it worked and last "solution" was to uninstall and reinstall creative suite.
now when I try to uninstall I get the message "Startup error: Required support files are missing"
well no kidding, as the "Solutions 1-5" instructed me to delete folders... I replaced them all where they came from and still I get the same message that files are missing.
So I can't launch what's there and can't uninstall to fix the problem... HELP PLEASE

Yes, I tried rebooting and the cleaner tool still wouldn't launch... which got me thinking maybe the cleaner tool itself is damaged... so I downloaded the cleaner tool for CS5 hoping it would work for CS4 and LO AND BEHOLD!!! it worked So.... I was able to uninstall... then reinstall and all is good! Thanks for your input John, I do appreciate it.
