I can't update my applications

I can't update my applications even though I already put in my Apple ID. What should I do?

Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

    I had the same issue all i had to do was go into settings > general > cellular > itunes > ON  then go back to the first settings > iTunes & App Stores > Use Cellular Data > ON
    i had 5 days of trying to fix this with no help from apple, i also dont have wifi at home, but found if i went out could use wifi to access itunes, so went home and played with my phone and YAY FINALLY FIXED!
    Hope this helps everyone and maybe apple will let everyone know that after the update some phones automaticly switch cellular use off, i tried everything from changing the date forward to factory restoring my phone none of which fixed it

    I have a one year commitment with Adobe and I can't update my application manager to download another program that I need. How can I solve this problem? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Which operating system are you on? Which program are you trying to download and is it listed in AAM? I ask because Premiere Pro and After Effects only run on 64-bit systems and Lightroom will not run on Windows XP.
    If you are on a 64-bit system running Windows 7 or Mac OS X 10.6.8 or greater than here are the steps to re-install AAM.
    Run the Adobe Cleaner Tool and remove the Creative Cloud Installer part of the Adobe Application Manager (AAM). I have posted the steps here with screen shots:

    Your apps are actually tagged with whatever ID you used when you first downloaded them.  That ID will be the only one that can update the app because it is the one that "purchased" the app.  You can always reset the password for the old ID using iforgot.apple.com if needed.
    Free apps can also be deleted and then downloaded using the new ID if you won't lose too much data.  Downloading the app again using the new ID will add the app to the purchase history of your new ID so you can update it using that password from now on.

    If this is a particular app giving you trouble, I would delete the app then re-install it.

    How did you update your system? Automatically via Windows Updates as a standalone system or via some other channels like waus?
    Generally, updates for Office 2013 can be gained from Windows updates automatically, check for updates though Settings\Update&Recovery, under Advanced options, there's an option "Give me updates for other Microsoft Products when I update
    Windows".
    And other application venders will notify you new updates when there's an update for the application.
    Regarding to the GPO, you need to contact your corporate admin to comfirm the issue.

    It sounds like you are attempting to update applications and iTunes is indicating that there was a problem with a purchase.  If this is the case, the purchase must be satisfied before and updates can be process.  You can verify this by accessing your purchase history via the steps in the article below.

    Sorry but you will need to Delete those Apps and Purchase them using your Apple ID.
    Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID.

    As these are user-to-user forums I've asked the hosts to remove your email address from your post
    Try logging out of your account on the phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it
    If it doesn't then you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

    when i try to update any purchased application, it tells me that it cannot connect to the itunes store, but if i try to download a free app, it lets me.
    the only thing i can think of, is that i am using a different credit card to purchase things now, but i updated that info in my settings etc.. does this have anything to do with it?
    i've even done a restore on my phone, and i still get the same error message.

    You may want to get online and sign into your apple/itunes account to make sure that ALL of your information is current and correct.
    This has happened to me, too and there was some sort of inconsistent information on my account (expired credit card, change of address, that sort of thing).
    Then if it still doesn't work, sometimes you need an agent to reset it for you, just open a ticket and ask.

  • Can not update the applications that are part of the Technical Communition Suite (TCS) 4.

    The updates... menu is grayed out for all applications that are part of this suit. I know that FrameMaker (FM) 11.0 has updates that should be installed. I have downloaded a patch (11_0_1) for FM and it will not install. I get this message:
    I have Admin rights on the computer and have selected Run As Admin.. when I attemp to install the patch.
    I have TCS 3.5 also loaded and do not have any issues with loading updates.
    OS: Windows 7
    Any ideas as to why I can not install updates for the applications that are part of TCS 4?

    Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\AAMUpdaterInventory\1.0
    There will be a .dat file by the  name - AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat
    Capy this file and paste it on your desktop.
    Open that file in Notepad from desktop.
    Change the value in <Suppressed> tag to ”0”  from "1"
    <Preferences>
                    <Suppressed>0</Suppressed>
    </Preferences>
    After saving the bat file replace it back with the original file at location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\AAMUpdaterInventory\1.0
    close the window and then try to install the patch again.

    I don't think it's broken, IMO.
    Most apps that hook into the system files require a password to remove them for obvious reasons.
