I can't update my Itunes after factory restore on laptop

I am not being allowed to download the NEW Itunes 11, since I have restored my laptop. ( I am not up to date with tech stuff rignt now) so please don't laugh. I have my music and everything on back up but even if I try to move it to pc it won't give me Itunes application. Please help!

Your computer needs to be running OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and iTunes 10.7 or later in order to use your iPhone 4S with it.
It looks like Snow Leopard is still available for purchase - it's only $20 and you will probably see a speed improvement on your computer if you upgrade.

Your MacBook should have at least 2GB of RAM for Snow Leopard to run well, but it only needs 1GB to install the software.

I connected to my computer to back up and update my iOS. At the time I connected to my computer, it also said I needed to update my itunes. So, I updated itunes, then went ahead with downloading and installing the updated iOS. It says that my last back up was today, and now my only option is to restore to factory settings. My concern is being able to get back all of my info. Now, it shows a screen on my iphone with a USB cable and and arrow to the itunes icon.

Fisrtly, I would like to explain about my problem. I updated the iTunes after that, when I connect with USB. It is saying, there is no SIM card installed the iPhone you are attempting to active.
And next message says, please disconnect and insert a SIM card in the iPhone, but I tried by different SIM cards.
The slit is ok as well; I think something wrong with this iTunes I updated, because this is not my first time.
I would like you give me some information about it, what should I do?

Authorized reseller or not, it's a gray market phone that must have been bought in the US and shipped to Saudi Arabia. Are you sure it was an authorized iPhone reseller, or was it a general Apple reseller who is not authorized to sell iPhones? Whatever it was, they are violating their agreement with Apple, and, as the phone has FaceTime on it, they are violating KSA law.
However, the good news is that it will work if you remove the Verizon SIM and insert a local SIM - unless they phone is actually a used phone that is locked to some other former owner. Are you sure you have a proper Internet connection? Make sure your iPod is connected to your computer, and you have an Internet connection.
Don't even get me started on the iPod Touch 5G, I actually own an iPod Touch 4G, and I've considered a lot about if I should get the new one. At first look, you might be sold by the features Apple has on their iPod Touch page. It has a taller screen that's a 4-inch Retina Display, has a much better camera with a flash, and comes with iOS 6 preinstalled with Siri. But the real breakthrough comes with the new connector. It's called Lighting, and it's much smaller. But if you have a dock connector that comes with some cars, and maybe a set of speakers or docking stations as alarm clocks, I encourage you not to get the new one. The usage of your old connectors requires a $30 adapter, which is a ridiculous price. And who knows how secure the adapters will be with your docking stations? I personally think Apple has crossed the line. If they are to put a new connector with their new products, they should ship with an adapter in the box, at least at first. This is why I strongly encourage you NOT to get the new 5th generation iPod Touch.
Sorry if I went a little off-topic there, but I wanted to get my point across. For your updating to iOS 6, I reccommend you check out other discussions in the support comunity, and see what other contributors have to say. Or go on Google and search your error messages, possibly someone might've already went through the same problem as you did. I really hope this helped!

I can't update my itunes.. in the middle of installation of the new itunes, it says there is a problem with this windows installer package. a program required for this install to complete could not be run.

for any more information, i am in South Korea right now, and i've tried both english and korean version to install on my computer.

If possible you need to upgrade OS X. However, what you can upgrade to is dependent on what your Mac hardware and configuration is which you have not provided in your profile.

I got like the same problem, last days I get message to restore my iPhone, so I did it yesterday and it work very well. In the afternoon I saw that at top in the left corner show invaild sim card or so (only knew the german version). so I restore it again but now it won`t activate after I enter SIM-PIN and it accept it, it shows "No Service".
Anybody can help? My Carrier is o2 Germany.
