Are you sure you don't have a 5G iPod video? If so, rented movies are not compatible with that particular generation/model of iPod.
Otherwise, it sounds like the rental is in HD. It should have came with a Standard Definition version instead.

Other is usually around 1 GB...
A ' Large Other ' usually indicates Corrupt Data...
First Try a Restore from Backup... But... if the Large Other Persists, that is an Indicator of Corrupt Data in the Backup... Then a Restore as New is the way to go...

I have already posted this question once already but I can't find it! I'm using a Mac, using OS 10.4.11, I keep getting notifictions to upgrade to 3.6.22, however, your site says that they are NOT compatible; what doI do now?

I did ask this question before, about a week - week and a half ago. However, it had not received any answers after about 4 days. My browser crashed and I lost the page!
Anyway, I keep getting notifications indicating that I need to download update 3.6.22. This site says that it is NOT to be used with OS X 10.4.11. So, what's the real deal? can I, better yet - should I download and use 3.6.22?
Additionally, what are we supposed to do when, as the notification on this site states, that 3.6 is only temporary, when it is what taken out of usability status? ?
I'm running a G4 DP, 500 MHz, with 512 MB RAM. I'm using an Earthlink dial-up account.
DOES anybody have an answer to the above questions? Do you need any additional information?

Yup, your question and Diane's answer helped me also. Tho' I had had problems before getting into the iTunes store I always managed to find a way. Today they had me blocked cold with the "Update to 10" advert no matter what I did. Other questioners are being told, incorrectly as it turns out, that they have to update their OS to accomodate iTunes 10 and upgrade to iTunes 10. I did the download which did not take up much more room on my crowded old hard drive and now I'm back in business.

I have a mac book 10.6.8 that has been upgraded to Snow Leopard (latest version.) How can I upgrade to mountain lion with 1GB of memory? When I go to buy it, it says that it's not compatible with my Mac but my Mac has all of the qualifications.

I can't run Itunes! After installing Itunes, I receive a message saying that Windows could not verify Apple's digital signature and it closes.

Pls HELP me! I can"t install it Itunes on any of my computers. After downloading it ( Run now or Saving it) it will no run because I keep receiving a message saying that Windows can not open this file because it could not verify Apple's Digital Signature. I have changed my internet security settings to allow downloads from unverified websites but it will not allow me to run Itunes. I had an older version of Itunes so I tried to install the update and it wouldn't work because so the same message about not being able to verify the digital signature. I uninstalled Itunes and Quicktime and all other Apple programs on my system. Then I tried to download it again... no luck the same message came up again. I then went to my other computer that NEVER HAD ANY APPLE software on it and tried to download Itunes. It gave me the same message. Please help me, I'm going crazy tring to figure this out.

I had this same issue occur today during update, searched and finally tracked to problem with windows registry. Used online version of windows registry tool "Fix It" (can also download portable version for offline check. I selected Apple updater utility from list to fix and it did it's thing. Returned to my downloaded 10 iTunes adn isntalled perfectly fine.

How stream music from Time-Capsules hard drive via iPhone and AirPlay without any computer turned on?

Is there a possibility to stream music stored on my time-capsules hard drive directly to my iPhone and then ask the iPhone the send the music (in real-time) via AirPlay to my AirPlay compatible speakers, without having ANY computer turned on? I know that the Sonos system managed this simple task, but Apple? Any news in iOS 4.3 or 5 maybe.

As Chris says... but if the media is on an external drive as above then you also need to make sure the external drive has the same drive letter on the system you are moving to or iTunes won't be able to find the files.

5S upgrade to 8.0 and never had any problems -

Ive done the upgrade and figure I should move ahead and do the 8.02 upgrade. Except, Ive never had any of te problems that people are talking about.

You can get in touch with the Developers and see if they intend to release a version in the future which won't require Rosetta. Rosetta has been dropped in Lion. They make it quite clear on their site that Rosetta is a requirement, so I wouldn't hold my breath. That leaves you the option of finding a similar program which will run on Lion, or return to Snow Leopard, if they have no plans to make changes to their program in the future.

What is it you're trying to do and what is the exact message? Are you trying to download the installer from the web site? Or have you downloaded the application and cannot run it? If the latter, and the message you're getting is that the application is from an unidentified developer, control-click on the app and choose "open".
There is no "Snow Lion" by the way. 10.8.x is Mountain Lion.

I use foxfire & an automatic update came into my computer on the 29th from Windows defender - now my Firefox will not open, I've removed it & reinstalled & it is still saying that it is not compatible. What can I do.
