I have figured out already. Firstly please try:
1) Installing iBooks on your iPhone via iTunes on PC/MAC
2) Adjust the time of your iPhone to 6 months ahead (e.g. 2013 May)
3) Close all apps currently running, clear Safari cache and history, sign out of Apple ID (Settings>iTunes & App Stores), reboot your device
4) Open iBooks on your iPhone, download any 1 book
5) System should prompt you to enter 3 security questions
6) Enter your answer and click "Done" at bottom right part of your input keyboard (Do not press upper right button)
7) Done!
I cannot imagine the system has gone so stupid. Apple, please retify the problem ASAP.

Can I use my existing E-mail address to retrieve my password reset through security questions instead of through E-mail. When I try retrieving my new Apple password through reset through security questions? On the Apple id, it will not allow me to do so becasue I forgot my security answers to the question. I'm naming one or two of the wrong vechiles which is what the questions ask me for for security questions.
For icloud do you reccommend that I keep that same E-mail address or create a new one for my iCloud mail aside from my G-mail address name?
I asked support community for the very first time to reset my security questions and it wanted me to create a new user name for iCloud when I already have *****l for my original Apple id.

Try this and see if it helps.
Settings>Safari>Clear cookies and data.
Now close Safari completely. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then "swipe up" or "drag up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
I changed my main email on my apple ID now when I try sign in with the new email it doesn't work and neither does my old one so I don't know what happened, any help?... I made a new apple ID and on my iPod it tries to use my old one and I can't change it to my new apple ID I've gone on to settings and iTunes and App Store and changed it to my new apple Id yet when I buy apps or try update them it uses my old apple ID I don't know what to do any help??
- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
If you can't log into Settings>iTunes and App stores with your new ID them mean there is a problem. Try restting the password and try to sign in again.

Every time I try to download a new app, a pop-up comes up telling me to set three security questions. And when I try to set them using the provided link it takes me to a page and keeps asking for my password even after I enter it in multiple times. Do you have a backup of your contents? When the iPhone showed the screen with the USB cable and said to connect to iTunes, it had already entered the recovery mode which means all content had been erased. So you need a backup from before the water damage and problems started to get your contents back.

Hi and welcome to the discussions. This happens once in a while for no apparent reason. When it happens to me, a simple log out/log in usually gets things going again. I haven't researched to see what process died when this happens.
If that doesn't, then a restart, but first check Spotlight in System Preferences and make sure that the Privacy list is empty. -
I upgraded to Lion and now Safari hangs up and the updater hangs up so I can't install the update. Can anyone help?
Reinstalling Lion
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alterhatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer. -
I didn't bother to install the software updates my computer needed to do. It said something about prepping for lion, but I thought if I installed lion it wasn't neccesary. Now seeing as I have all these bugs, I feel like that was a mistake. I also did not bother to make a time machine thing to go back on, or any copy of my snow leopard hard drive. Is my only option now to make a clean install of snow leopard with the cd and wipe everything, then install lion again?
I tried using command R on startup to reinstall lion, but it says my disks are locked.Hi, likely something else isn't updated, maaybe Safari?
