I can't use my Safari app at all..

I hope someone can help! I posted on one of the other boards without success...
I can't use my Safari app at all. Every time I try to open it, the app I used (and closed) previously opens instead. It doesn't matter what app it is, it is just the previous app used. Settings: 4.2.6 (8E200). Model MC676LL. I've tried resetting the phone-no luck. Please help...Thanks!

I had tried that, but tried it again. No luck...this is so frustrating! Can anyone help? I tried calling Tech Support but I am one month over the "Phone Support" warranty even though I pay monthly for a continued warranty. GRRRR Any ideas?? Thanks!

I can't use mail, safari, app store or itunes since 'upgrade' to yosemite. HELP!

I updated itunes yesterday and then yosemite.
Since then my:
-itunes wont work, it bounces, opens, then starts thinking then closes.
-Mail doesn't work, it can't connect to the server
-Safari doesn't work, can't connect to the wifi, but chrome does although seems to struggle a bit
-App Store can't connect
I have tried uninstalling itunes via terminal as suggested in some other posts and reinstalling but that didn't help. I"ve restarted.
HELP! I basically can not do anything on my computer as I previously did. I would be happy to just get rid of both updates and go back to how my computer was 48 hours ago if possible.

I had similar problems, and found a solution that worked for me.
I was using Wifi at the time.
So I thought; maybe its not a problem with the apps, but with the Wifi.. Sure enough, as soon as i plugged my laptop into the router with a cable, everything worked a 100%.
When I switched back to wifi, it went back to the previous crappy state.
But it seems like I managed to fix this as well, while being connected to Wifi and no cable:
-Go to System preferences
-Network
-On the top of the window, there is a drop down menu for switching "location".
-Select Automatic
And that did the trick for me.. My location was set to something else than "Automatic", some Netflix trickery I've done a long time before updating to Yosemite...

Help! I can't use my contacts app at all

I'm not sure what's happened but over the course of the past couple of months my contacts list seems to have multiplied by itself and is now so big that I can't even use it. For each contact I have there seem to be between 10 - 60 (!!) duplicate entries. I've tried deleting them and they won't go away. I've tried linking them and unlinking them and they won't go away. The whole app is completely jammed up. It takes about 3 - 5 mins for the screen to load and even display the contacts and I can barely scroll through them.
My contacts are linked via outlook and I've tried managing them through that, but everything appears normal.
Basically, it's become impossible to use my phone as a phone without this facility. Can someone help, please?

So, you have multiple accounts?
If you remove the email accounts (or just the contact list sync) what is left on the device? You should only be left with Twitter, BBM, Facebook, etc. There may be "local" or "sim" contacts but there shouldn't be anything else. If any contacts listed under local or sim are in your Outlook.com/Hotmail contacts you can delete them from the device as they will sync back from the account. I don't keep anything in Local or Sim.

Since Google has not added watch support to the gmail app, you don't. You should be able to get notifications, but at this time, there is no gmail app for the watch.

If you want to use an app to print to your printer on your iPad you need to make sure you have downloaded the HP ePrint home & biz app. There are numerous ePrint apps available, but this is the best one for printing to an HP printer that is ePrint enabled.

No. Safari does not have the option to attach files for uploading other than photos.
Look at iCab Mobile in the App Store. There are other browsers that may do this, but I'm pretty sure that iCab will fill the need.

It could be browser incompatibility or something else. When you say you can't log in, what happens? Is the bank website generating an error saying you're not using a supported browser? Does the login form for your bank account display as usual, but once you submit the form to log in it doesn't work? Give me a specific step-by-step of what you're doing, such as...
1. I load bankofamerica.com
2. I type in my login
3. When I submit, the page does nothing
Obviously that may not be your issue, but giving us details like that will help us come to a quicker conclusion.

If the iPhone had your iCloud account set up on it, and in the settings for that account you had enabled "find my iPhone" then you can log in to your iCloud account in a computer's web browser (www.iCloud.com) and try to track it from your account.
If you did not enable find my iphone, then no, you cannot remotely track it.
