I can't use my touch screen because type has gotten too big

I cannot use my phone because the type has gotten so big that nothing works. I can't reboot it because I am unable to use the slide to turn off. How can I turn it off without using touch screen?

To turn off your iPhone without the touch screen, hold the Power & Home Button for 10 seconds or until the screen goes black. Then just turn on your phone just like any other boot and it should start up as normal! ( http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430 ) This will not remove data, the purpose of this is if your phone is unresponsive or yu just cannot turn it off normaly.
Is everything really zoomed in like this?
If that is the case, go to setting > General > Accessibility > Zoom
Go ahead and switch that off

Can I use a touch screen monitor with my macbook pro?

I am doing a lot of photo organization and thought it would be easier if I had a touch screen monitor attached to my macbook pro. Has anyone tried this and if so, what brand did you use.

All a touchscreen is going to do is replace your mouse or trackpad, you can't use two hands at once to gain any speed advantage organizing photo's.
Also it would have to be a pretty big touch screen, place your two hands over a 17" screen and most of the screen is blocked.
If you need something like that, talk to Microsoft, they have a "Big @ss table" that does that.

I can't use The touch screen on my photosmart D7360.

The touch screen on my photosmart D7360 is not working properly. I am using windows vista 32-bit. It is stuck on the screen that comes up on the printer with a message to replace ink cartridge soon. at the bottom press OK or cancel. I can not do either. when I insert a memory card the screen does not change either so unable to print pics directly from the printer it will work from the computer so it works fine that way. what should I do or what needs to be fixed? I have already re-installed drivers several times and that does not work.

HELP I Can't use my touch screen at all

I just did a hard reset on my Palm Z22 and my touchscreen does not work at all. I thought that by doing a hard reset it would allow me to start all over but my screen doesn't work. Anyone know what I can do???

My display has gotten too big for the screen! How to fix?

This is really strange. The tab bar at the top and the dock at the bottom don't both fit on the screen anymore. And when I move the mouse the whole screen shifts until it rests at its topmost or bottommost position. Same with left/right. There's about 4" of play in each direction. Very frustrating. Tried System Preferences but all the settings seem correct. Anyone know what this is and how to fix it? Thanks,

It sounds like you have accidentally activated zoom.
You can disable zoom in System Preferences->Universal Access preference pane->Seeing.

Can't unlock my phone using the touch screen on my LG Cosmos Touch

Hi,
I can't unlock my phone using the touch screen on my LG Cosmos Touch. Which means I can't access the calender, recent calls, and the other features on the phone. The only thing I can do is slide the phone when I need to answer a call or send a text. I'm not sure what the problem is. I also don't want to pull the battery out and re insert it because I think if I do that, my phone will lock up permanently. Will someone help me please?

how can i remove pictures from my droid turbo without having to use the touch screen on the phone at all? my screen is cracked and i am waiting on a replacement phone. as far as i can tell in order to access the phone storage through my computer, i have to use the touchscreen to enable it so that the computer will see it as a camera. I can't do that as the top half of the touschscreen is unresponsive. any suggestions? teaches me to use the backup services offered in the future, but i still need a short term solution for this time.

I'm sorry to hear your screen is cracked spence425. I know its difficult to use the phone while its damaged. I'm happy you are receiving a replacement device. Have you saved any of your pictures and other data to the cloud? Here is a link about the cloud http://vz.to/1mF0GIx . Unfortunately, you will be unable to remove any data from the phone if the screen is unresponsive but if you are looking to transfer data to your new phone, it would have needed to be saved via the cloud first. Can you use a soft tip stylus type pen on an IdeaTab A1107 Tablet screen?

I recently purchased an IdeaTab A1107 Tablet, which I believe is the same as the IdeaTab A1, just with the Android 4.0 OS. My wife is having trouble always hitting the correct buttons on the screen (7" screen). Can you use a soft tip stylus type pen or other stylus on an IdeaTab A1107 Tablet screen? Would that be easier than tapping the screen with your finger?

You can use a stylus that's sold as being designed to work with "capacitive screens" - not just any stylus will do.
You can also use any conductive object as a stylus on the A1 screen, as long as your skin is touching the part of the object that is conductive.

If my iPhone 3GS turns on but cannot use the touch screen, could the Processor be the problem?

I recently dropped my iPhone 3GS but cannot use the touch screen. I took to a local repair shop and they tried replacing the digitizer and some other items but still could not get it to work. They advised that the Processor could be the problem. Is this true? If so, can the processor be replaced without losing data? Additionally, my phone has a lock code and when I try to connect it to my desktop to back up, it states that I need to enter my 4 digit pin first, which of course I cannot. Any workarounds here or am I SOL?

Hook the phone to a computer running iTunes and backup to the computer. Copy pictures off the phone manually to the computer.

I am unaware of any PCs that support connection via Target Display Mode. I have never tried it myself, so I don't know if it would work. All you can do is try provided you have an iMac that supports TDM and the proper cable adaptors.

Thanks for your reply. After reading the article though, I'm still not really sure what the answer is. For example, you mention something that can be done, with some hurdles to go through, for 27" iMacs. Mine is a 21.5" iMac, but seems to have the same port you mentioned in the article. Or maybe it isn't. Anyway, I'm still not sure if it is possible after reading that. Interesting information though.
