I can't use Raid Admin connect to Raid

Hi All,
i can't use raid admin connect to my Xraid.
network is ok, networkcable is ok.Raid works find.
when i use raid admin connect to Xraid, it shows me"connection error" and then the app take more than 50% cpu usage.
any ideas?

Hi Chris,
If the controllers are not properly seated in the RAID chassis, they will not be able to communicate with RAID Admin and you will get a connection error. Improperly seated controllers can lead to other problems as well, so I would recommend reseating them.
To do this, power down the RAID by pushing the power button on the back and holding it for about 5 seconds. The RAID will not power off completely, but all the indicator lights on the front of the chassis should go out. Once those lights are out, unplug both power cables. Release one of the controller cards by pushing inward on both clips, then pull the card about half way out. Push it back in gently until both clips click into place. Do the same with the other controller card. Plug both power cords in and push the power button to power the RAID back on.
You should either unmount your RAID from your server, or power the server off before you power off the RAID. You can power your server back on once all the indicator lights on your RAID show green. If you have just unmounted it, it should mount automatically once the RAID controllers are up and running.

Don't think that the firmware on the Time Capsule will support a RAID device at the USB port on the Time Capsule, if that is what you are planning to do.
Even if it might, the connection will be about half the speed of USB on your computer. Better to connect the RAID to your computer and back up that way.
If you plan to back up using Time Machine, check with the RAID manufacturer to see if that might be supported with the device.

Hi,
As you mentioned that you just upgraded the database, so the data is same and schema is same you can connect with the same work schema.
Yes, you can use the same contexts , but need to do Reverse Engineering for your new database.
And about data server, i think you also have no need to create new data server, if hostname,sid and port etc are same as these were with R11(consult with your DBAs regarding it)

The CCK will find/ask to download (if iPad supported formate )picture and video files if the device is formated in FAT 16 or 32 and the supported files are placed in a "DCIM" folder in the root directory. I have transfered such files from SD card and USB drives. However, not USB drive work. I had an old 2GB (very large) and when i connected it it said it drew too much power.
I also downloaded pictures and video files from a compact flash card and smart media card via a SanDisk USB card reader.

GPS information cannot be output from the iPhone to any other device.
The only way to get Internet access on the iPod Touch is via Wi-Fi. To get a Wi-Fi signal from the iPhone it must be running iOS4 and be an iPhone4. This would also require a tethering capable data plan from the carrier.
A simpler solution would be to upgrade to a larger capacity iPhone like the 32GB model. Then there is only one device to be carried.

How can I use multiple network connections concurrently?

I'm using a Macbook, connected to a corporate network via Ethernet and to a private ADSL connection via Airport. What I want to be able to do is use the Airport connection for specific apps (Firefox, Safari, RDP etc) and the Ethernet connection for anything that needs to access any internal resources (Exchange etc).
From what I've tried, the OS presents the primary connection (set via the Service Order configuration) to the application and nothing else. For example when Firefox is set to not use a proxy I can't access anything, unless the Airport is given priority. But when the Airport is set as the higher priority adapter via the Service Order then I can't access any of the internal network.
Is there any way to work around this or am I stuck chopping and changing whenever I need to get out to the Internet directly?

The highest priority service is the Internet connection. Anything that would go to the internet uses that service. However, you still should be able to access the internal network via Ethernet.

Yes you can do that ... but you need to configure the computer connect to the Router using Cable ....

1. You need to check firewall and allow Remote Desktop. To be specific, communication to port 3389 TCP
2. Right click My Computer --> Properties --> Remote tab

Click users and grant the permissions for the users. By default, Administrators do have the permission. An also, the users who are members of the 'Remote Desktop Users' security group also have the permission

I have an HP p7-1020 running Windows 7, 64 bit, and a Viore LED24VF60 TV. I can connect the TV using the analog VGA connections available on both the PC and TV. This works OK at a resolution of 1920x1080.
I tried using the DVI connection on the PC, a DVI to HDMI adapter and an HDMI cable to the TV. This works except the picture is too big for the screen. The Start Menu and the Date and Time are not visible even though the PC resolution is set to 1920x1080.
Is this typical? Do I need some special driver? (I checked the Viore web site but couldn't find any answer.)

Castingman, welcome to the forum.
To use HDMI from the PC, you would have to install a PCI (not PCIE) video card that supports HDMI. I am not certain that you will find PCI cards with this function.
