I can't verify my Apple ID via email, and cant get past the first security question?
Hello all,
I had to re-install the OS on my MacBook and the Apple ID on my phone is linked to an old email address which I can't access anymore.
Have tried to change my password, but it appears that the birthdate entered originally was wrong; I must have entered something incorrectly.
I have tried to enter variations on date, month and year + or - but have been locked out quite a few times now. What can I do? I really don't
want to lose the apps and 500+ tracks on my phone, and now can't sync anything anymore. Can I call somebody to answer the additional
security questions or bypass in some way? Without the email verification, I'm stuck.

You can't delete an iTunes account, but you should be able to change the email address that is on it e.g. by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone and logging into it, via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, or via http://appleid.apple.com - you should then be able to put it on your old account.
For your security questions on your old account, if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on that account then the steps half-way down this page will give you a reset link on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address or don't have access to that email account (you won't be able to add one or change it until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to add or update your rescue email address for potential future use
Resetting an account's security questions shouldn't affect any of the purchases that you've made on the account. -
Can iPad3 connect to Apple TV via Airplay, and Bluetooth speaker at the same time?
I'm making a best man speech using Keynote at a wedding tomorrow, for which I need audio as well as video. The Apple TV is connected via HDMi to the projector, and I can control the presentation wirelessly from my iPad. So far so good. There is a Bluetooth-enabled speaker which my iPad can connect to via Bluetooth, but then it loses the Airplay connnection to the Apple TV. Is there a work around? I guess if I had an Airplay-enabled speaker and not a Bluetooth enabled one, I'd be OK, but I don't have time to go buy one now.
It appears my only option if I want to use the speaker (which I do), is to use my MacbookPro instead and connect via HDMI straight into the projector and bypass the Apple TV altogether. Which means I'm stuck standing by the macbook pressing SPACE BAR every time I want to change slides, as opposed to using the iPad wirelessly which lets face it would look far cooler!Pretty sure you can't route the audio via bluetooth and the headphone jack.

I can't get passed the 3 security questions to download an app why is this?
Why can't I get passed the third security question when trying to down load an app - what is the solution to this -this is happening on both my iPhone and iPad
Welcome to the Apple community.
You might try to see if you can change your security questions. Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account > Password and Security.
I'm able to do this, others say they need to input answers to their current security questions in order to make changes, I'm inclined to think its worth a try, you don't have anything to lose.
If that doesn't help you might try contacting Apple through Express Lane (select your country, navigate to iCloud help and enter the serial number of one of your devices) -

Imac frozen at blue screen after i went into disk utilities and cleaned free space.
I tried holding down T key as it reboots
and i get a message. Start up disk full empty it how can one emptie it if you cant get past the blue screen?
to make matters worse we bought the IMAC of amazon uk on the 4/07/011 so what can we do?
please remember how frustrating it is when asking for help when the helper telling you to type something on the screen when its frozen

Am i right ok in thinking that
when i went into disk utilities and chose to clean my free space i left it over one hour to do its stuff
i came back and there was no progress bar just the box so i quit the program and when i opened mac mail the system just froze i forced quit mail rebooted and blue screen death
Now when free space is being cleaned is it the same as windows dose the utility write lots of 0 on the hard drive then rebbot its self to free the space
basicly is my hard drive full of 00000 is this why im getting this message because the process was interupted

I cannot get past the initial screen on my new iMac. Data was transferred from my old computer so when I turned it on It automatically had my name in the window and asked for the password, but none of my old passwords seem to be accepted. How can I fix this?? It's a new IMac with osx.
Which password isn't working? The one to access the iPad or the one to get your hotmail?
If hot mail, you go into the settings, mail, contacts and calendars and edit your hot mail account. Of if it won't edit, delete it off the iPad, then re-add it with the new password. -

I can't get past the Paypal Security Check.
Oh My God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the MILLIONTH time I CANNOT GET PAST THE SECURITY CHECK!!!!!!!!!!!! I am trying to link my bank account and the security check pops up every. single. time. This is literally my 3rd or 4th time contacting Paypal about this and I have yet to recieve a real response. The security check doesn not show my new phone number I added days ago. When I try to enter it in, it tells me that it cannot confirm that the number is mine and to try again. I have wasted three whole day trying to get past this. Where is Paypal support? Are they sleeping? This is getting ridiculous. I need to sell two items on eBay but I can't until I link my bank account. I need this done asap!
You're not alone! I'm having the very same problem & so are other people, from what I read online. I really need to link my bank account to my PayPal, as well & after exhausting all my options I'm close to throwing in the towel. PayPal has such shi**y support! WHAT'S THE POINT OF HAVING A "LINK YOUR BANK" OPTION...IF YOU CAN'T EVEN LINK YOUR BANK?

I now need to verify my account via email.
How can I do this when I can't access my iCloud email without verifying account?Did you click the Verify Now link in the verification email from Apple (see image below)? If not, make sure you are checking the email address you used to set up your iCloud account. Also make sure you check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox. If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.

I am trying to reset my admin password. I think my computer was tampered with. I signed out completely and now, I am locked out. I can't get past a black screen. I'm unsure of my operating system but I've had laptop about 2 years.
If you boot from your install DVD and, after choosing language, go up to the Apple bar and select utilities, you can restore you admin and firmware psswds. You will these options there. Do not choose a firmware psswd if you do not need this, you may complicate your life, especially if you forget it.
I do not understand how you changed the psswd and why you cannot log in, though. Did you forget the new psswd or why? What do you mean by ‘was tampered with’?
