I can't view a purchased TV show in my Videos app

I purchased and downloaded a TV series from iTunes and was able to watch the first of six shows without any problems.
Every time I try and watch the other shows I get a pop-up message that says "The requested URL was not found on this server". Can someone please tell me how I can fix this problem?
If someone could provide some assistance, it would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

Redownload iTunes Purchases via iTunes
To begin, go to the iTunes Store via the iTunes program installed on your desktop or laptop. On the right-hand side of the screen, there will be a menu called Quick Links. In it, click thePurchased link. This takes you to the screen where you can redownload purchases,
In this list, there are two important groupings that allow you to sort your purchases:
Type of Purchase: This first set of buttons lets you choose whether you want to redownload music, movies, TV shows, apps, or books
All/Not In My Library: All, of course, shows you all purchases from your iTunes account. Not In My Library shows only purchases from your account that aren't on the computer you're currently using.
When you've selected the type of purchase you want to redownload, your purchase history will be displayed below.
For Music, this includes both the artist name at the left and then the songs by that artist at the right. If a song is available for download (that is, if it's not already on that computer's hard drive), then the iCloud button--a small cloud with a down arrow in it--next to it will be enabled. Click that button to download it. If the button is grayed out and reads "Downloaded," then the song is already on the computer you're using.
For TV Shows, the process is very similar to music, except instead of artist name and then songs, you'll see the show's name and then Seasons or Episodes. If you browse by season, when you click on a season, a window will pop up listing all available episodes from that season. Choose Episodes and you'll simply see a list of episodes organized by episode number. In either case, the same iCloud button as appeared for music is used to download TV (if the episode is already on your computer, the "Downloaded" button will appear).
For Movies, Apps, and iBooks files, you'll see a list of all your purchases (including free downloads). Movies, apps, or books on the computer you're using will have the grayed-out "Downloaded" button next to them. Available downloads will have the iCloud button. Click the button to download them.

  • HT201322 itunes 11.0.3 - in my iTunes library I can no longer see purchased TV shows and Movies that are not downloaded to my computer. also In my Itunes account i have no hidden TV shows or Movies

    I'm running itunes 11.0.3 -
in my iTunes library I can no longer see purchased TV shows and Movies that are not downloaded to my computer.
In my Itunes account i have no hidden TV shows or Movies
I used to be able to view all cloud and downloaded content.  I no longer can.

There used to be option to show items that are in the cloud in your library, but I can't find where that now is (unless it's been removed). You should be able to see what items that you can re-download via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page (at the top right of that there should be a 'not on this computer' button)
Edit : Just seen your reply, though I don't appear to have that setting on mine.

  • Where can I view my purchase history for itunes

My bank statement has a charge from iTunes,  but I do not remember buying anything and I have no email invoice for this purchase. I cannot figure out how to view my purchase history in iTunes on the website or on the app. How can I view my purchase history for any and all purchase made on my ipad? Not sure if it was an in-app purchase, book, music, etc. because I do not recall buying anything at all.

You can oly view the full purchase history via your computer's iTunes : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.
On your iPad you can only see a cut-down version (I think it shows the last 90 days), and optionally contact iTunes Support if you have a problem with a purchase, via a browser : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

  • My itunes tv and movie purchases are not showing in my video app

my itunes tv and movie purchases are not showing in my video app, iphone 5s, and this has happened since ios 8 was installed

Were they previously downloaded/synced to your iPhone, and if they were have you got them in the TV Shows and Movies parts of your computer's iTunes library. When you update via a computer the device is backed up, the iOS version is updated, and your content is then restored to the device - but none of your iTunes downloads are included in the actual backup (just your documents, notes, calendars, app settings etc), instead it looks to get the apps, music, films, TV shows from your iTunes library.
If the 'show all' setting isn't showing them then what country are you are in, you are logged in with the same account that you bought them with, you haven't changed countries since buying them and they aren't hidden : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases ?

  • I have a receipt for a rented movie but can't find the movie in iTunes or on Video app.

I have a receipt for a rented movie but can't find the movie in iTunes or on Video app. Shouldn't it show in my movie file on iTunes or Video app on iPad?

If you rented it on your iPad then it should have downloaded into its Videos app - if it hasn't completed downloading then it might still show in the iTunes app in a Downloads tab in it (Downloads only shows if there are downloads happening), the iTunes app on your iPad is just the store.
If it doesn't show in Videos then does it show via the iPad's spotlight search screen : pull down the centre of the homescreen (not from the very top of the screen, that will open Notification Centre) ?
If you rented it on your computer's iTunes then you will have to connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and use its Movies tab to move it over to the iPad - rentals are a one-time only download, so won't show on your iPad for redownloading.
If you can't find it on the device/computer that you rented it on then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

  • I updated my phone and i guess it didn't back up properly. It reset my phone back to factory settings. Anything I can do to get back my pictures, phone list, videos, apps, etc?

The folder where your backup data is stored changes depending on the computer's operating system. Since iTunes only keeps one backup per device, you should ensure the backup folder is included in your periodic data backup routine.
iTunes places the backup files in the following places:
    Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
    Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Windows Vista and Windows 7:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Note: If you do not see the AppData or Application Data folders, you may need to show hidden files (Windows XP,  Windows Vista and Windows 7).
    copied from "about backups"http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
If you don't have, you'll have to start all over again. Apps can be downloaded again for free, but any data like game settings or similar will not be included, these are part of the backup.

  • Can't download previously purchased tv shows or movies, they dont appear on my MBA in itunes but do appear on my ipod 5

i recently purchased a new ipod 5 (ios 7), i have a 2013 MBA, i am running the latest itunes on both devices.
i am not able to see a list of my previously purchased tv shows or movies in itunes on my MBA but can see the list on my new ipod.
they dont appear as "previously purchased" any resolution to this issue

The iTunes Store went DRM free for music back in 2009 but the other content such as movies, TV shows, audiobooks and iBooks still contain it as required by the rights holders. This limits you to playing the content on a computer or device with the necessary software to decode the DRM. It should be possible to connect your large display to your laptop's audio and video outputs if you want to make use of the larger display, or you could purchase an Apple TV unit.
Here is one of the support articles on this topic iTunes: Frequently asked questions about viewing and syncing videos. I imagine there are references to the same or similar in the terms and conditions that most of us skip over when installing the software.

  • Can Folder View be Set to Show Hierarchy by Default?

I am working in PSE8 Organizer.  When I open the Folder Location view I always have to "drill down" from the C drive in the hierarchy to the folder I want to see. Is there a way to set the Folder Location view to open and show by default the hierarchy so I can go directly to the folder I want?

I wish it worked exactly the way you described, but by playing around with it I discovered that I need to open the folder location view first and then click on an image and suddenly the folder list popped open and showed me which folder contained the image.  Thanks so much for the clue!!

  • How can I view my purchases on Windows?

I recently downloaded Windows 10, and when I clicked iTunes Store > Purchases, it tells me
    Download iTunes 10
    For Mac + PC
    Upgrade iTunes now
    blabla
How can I view purchases? I've already downloaded the latest version of iTunes.
If this is a really common sense question, it's because I'm new to iTunes and stuff. I don't use it much.

thanks guys. I am a computer programmer. but have used mostly PC's. but am now moving over to apple... Never thought it would happen but here I am LOL.
I assumed that this was the case with the apps but thanks anyway.

  • Can't view iTunes purchased videos in quicktime?

went to iTunes media folder and tried playing a TV show purchased in iTunes to no success. Also tried copying it to the desktop and playing it (just in case) with no success. Is there a way to view iTunes purchased content on my computer outside of iTunes?

Close iTunes - use Disk Utility to repair permissions. Reboot and open iTunes and see if that helps.

  • Can't view my Purchases??

I can't seem to log in with my CORRECT username and password to view my purchases, even though I am already logged in.

No, I haven't.  I can download and view everything from my iPhone (same account and password).  But iTunes asks me to sign in hundreds of times (without success) even though it says I am already logged in.  I can't buy music from my computer, or see any purchases or downloads.  I operate only one account.  It almost looks like a bug, because it asks me so many times to log in.

  • How can I view my purchase history of mt iTunes Store on the iPad or iPhone 5??

How do I view my purchase history of my iTunes Store on the iPad or iPhone 5??

Stupid apple won't let you. You have to use a personal computer. I have a windows PC. How dumb is it of apple to make me have to go to PC. I ain't buying a Mac just to see my balance. This is why I use, iPad and android phone. When I buy in android everything is transparent, and if I buy a deal and don't use it, they credit you back no questions asked.
Wait till Samsung and Amazon start making fun of iTunes Store along with Apple TV. Such promising technology but is managed by dictators.

  • If i move to the UK with my US ATV3 can I still access purchased tv shows?

I understand that i will have to change the iTunes country and associate my account with the new country?   But will the tv shows i have purchased still show up on my ATV?

Actually I would leave it set to the current country.  As long as you are using a US account and using a US credit card I think you are ok.  You should probably still have access to your content if you do change the country setting, but I do not know for sure.
