I can't watch 4OD or Demand 5 using firefox. I used to be able to - now there is just a grey screen

I can watch 4OD and Demand 5 using Internet Explorer, but I get all the annoying adverts. I used to use iGoogle instead, which got rid of all the adverts, but recently this has stopped working, and now there is just a grey screen where the video should be. So I tried Firefox instead, which is just the same. I assume that Channel 4 and Channel 5 have done something to stop people watching their programmes on iGoogle or Firefox without having to endure the adverts. Is there any thing I can do. I run Windows 7 Home Premium on a standard Advent desktop.

I could not run anything on Demand 5 because of my IP adress - "THE VIDEO YOU ARE TRYING TO WATCH...), so I could not check further.

You may have a faulty USB cable. Try another.
Make sure you are following the instructions in this procedure to the letter. Here they are, with emphasis on some easily overlooked requirements:
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release only the Sleep/Wake button.
Continue pressing and holding the Home button while you reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.Note: If you see the "low battery" screen, let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some charge, and then start with step 2 again.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears (iTunes icon and USB connector) release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the "recovery mode" alert ("iTunes has detected a phone in recovery mode").
Use iTunes to restore the iPhone.

But a great hint is- Always click on the [Create a Saved Book] button, early in your new book design.

Every time you come back to edit the book, open the Book Module by clicking on the white arrow that appears on the end of your Book Collection title. (The title as saved)
Re-opening a book without using the "Saved Book" option can have unpredictable results.

There's been a problem with this all day. Seems to be a server problem - wait a day and try again, or use itunes on the computer to update, that works.

Update: my PC USB hub was connected to a USB 3 port, I connected the 30 pin cable directly to my PC, And the restore worked just fine. Restored phone from iCloud backup and seems to be working fine.

In the past 48 hrs, all of a sudden, the New Tab feature on my PC< using Firefox 3.56, simply stopped working. I did not change settings, or download a new version of Firefox. it just stopped working. There are other scenarios where it does still work (for example, if I want to open a link on a web page, I can right click and open the link in a new tab), but if I simply want to have multiple websites open at once on my PC, I am forced to have multiple versions of Firefox open, as my New Tab option seems to be disabled or something. I have windows 7 and have been using Firefox for the last several months and now I can' open it up for some reason.

I've been using firefox as my principle browser for quite some time. I normally just click on it once and it opens to the home page with google search in the middle of the page. I downloaded some e-mail attachment about a job and that's when it seemed to act up. I ran a scan on my computer and it says there is no problems but I still can't open up Firefox home page by clicking on the fox/world icon.

I've used Firefox for years w/no problem but now I can't get a window to open I still get the menu bar on top. When I try to click open a new window nothing happens. I have a Mac.

I never have problems with Firefox before. I usually don't put my Mac on sleep mode but I did do that last night. I don't know if that caused the problem or not. I tried to restart my computer thinking that might help but it didn't.

Check out why the site is untrusted and click "Technical Details" to expand this section.

ITunes update caused my iPhone to FAIL. I was only wishing to connect to my pc iTunes, then I was told I could upgrade to the latest iTunes for the mobile. Bad idea! I'm abroad, and now I'm stuck in grey screen-- how can I get my iPhone back?

But no, I am now stuck in purgatory-- no use of iPhone, at al! -- the upgrade FAILED. Perhaps because I'm in Asia? At any rate,
I was told that I needed to reformat my phone to factory settings (losing all data!) That was the info on the pc. My phone would ONLY display
a phone cord pointing to iTunes (beckoning to connect), but I was connected to the pc already. So I had to click to reformat.
There was no other option, I browsed tha forums, was semi-assured that iCloud would help back me up. I heard about iTools,
but that also proved a dead end. My phone ended up in this grey screen, where choices are limited. They originally asked if I wanted to connect
with iTunes, but I chose WIFI. I tried many times to "activate" the phone this way, and it always fails. ( I wanted to try activating through
iTunes, but I can't go back to that original option. At times "Connect with iTunes" is only very briefly shown, but disappers before I can select
it.)

Why did you disconnect it?
You will have to restore it.
Your data is gone if you failed to make sure it was on your computer before updating, as you always should you.

I have used Firefox on this Apple (10.6) but now tend to use Safari. It is still in Applications but wont open.Ive tried down loading it again into computer but it wont accept it.

Normal browser is Safari but want to use Firefox for something that it apparently runs better on.

But I know from looking at forums that others have gotten this in the past.. I have no idea what is the problem.
