I can text another Verizon carrier but I do not receive the reply? Alos, she has turned Green (we have checked all the obvious Imessage connections).

I send invitees a calendar event but don't get a response?
I create a calendar event and invite people but don't get a response. My friends say when they get the email it says no response required, but I can't see anything where I can request this?
The only other thing I can think of is to pull the drive out and hook it to another machine with a USB enclosure. Something like this:

messaging girfriend and I can see she is replying because of the 3 dots, but didn't get a reply. I no she might of hit the space bar, but she said she wasn't typing, could this be bad signal ?

In Settings> Messages
make sure iMessage is turned on, and
in Settings> Messages> Send & Receive...
make sure you have your phone number listed under "you can be reached by imessage at" -
My partner is in Australia. She can text and facetime me but although I can facetime her, I cannot send any text messages. What is wrong? is it a settings problem?

Can't on to iTunes Store. But don't get any error messages
Since upgrading to 10.6 I can't log on to the store. I don't get any error messages, it just doesn't log on.
Password etc is right and I can access the internet Ok just not iTunes.
I have tried downgrading to a previous version of iTunes but then can't use iTunes as I get a message saying the "library is not accesible because it was created
in a newer version of iTunes"

(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

Can text chat, but can't video chat
Hello-
My ichat/isight use to work just fine. I haven't changed any settings as far as I know (unless I did something inadvertently) and suddenly now I can continue to text message but I can't get the camera to connect. I send an invitation to video and once the person on the other ends accepts we each get errors saying that the video failed because the other person did not respond.
Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

How do I get rid of the tinted layer when trying to use text? I don't get a seperate text layer
When I try to use text I get a tinted layer over the background layer. I don't get a text layer like I should. I tried resetting preferneces but that didn't work.

When I try to access my Apple Account, I enter my password correctly, but don't gain access to my account. The prompt screen that asks me to enter my password re appears, I enter the password again, and the Enter Password prompt just re appears. Can someone pls help me with this Groundhog Day? To clear cache and cookies do the following:

#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".

#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.

I have 2 iphone4's, my wifes phone can text anyone we've tried but not mine when imessage is turned on. she can text me when imessage is turned off. both phones have latest software update and problem only started happening 3 or 4 days ago. help please, have tried all resets reccomended by my carrier and they say every thing from their end is ok and suggested we try apple for any ideas.
Why not create a second Apple ID? Wouldn't that solve the problem much more straightforwardly?

When I send a text to my wife i get her reply under another name. How do I fix this?
Since I got my iPhone 4S when I text my wife her replies come under my old hotmail address name. Very strange indeed. I have tried deleting her as a contact and then renaming her but still the same. The old hotmail address isn't even listed as one of my contacts so I'm puzzled as to how this is possible.
