I cancelled my Creative Cloud and now my Production Premium CS6 won't work!

When I cancelled the Creative Cloud membership by phone, I informed the Adobe rep that I intended to use our Production Premium CS6 suite instead (which we have had longer than CC.  Now I can't open anything in my CS6 suite.  It's treating it as if it was installed with CC - which it was not.  They both have the same login email address.

You can try signing with different Adobe ID .
or  if you wish to sign in using same email ID , try and follow below steps :
Windows:
Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) along with R button together at a time , you will get a run command window.
Type in below command and hit 'Enter' key.
appdata
Then navigate to Local>Adobe>OOBE. Open OOBE folder and delete opm.db file.
Mac:
1) Right click on Finder icon and  select "Go-To" Folder option.
  2) You will get a text box, type-in below command and then hit 'Return' key.( Do not miss ~ symbol)
~/library
3)Then navigate to Application Support>Adobe>OOBE. Open OOBE folder and delete opm.db file.
Then try to activate Production Premium.
Still face same issue , try clearing SLCache Contents.
In Windows , first enable Hidden Files and folders view, because most of the files will be hidden by default.
Open C:drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and locate SLCache folder and move all its contents to backup folder on Desktop . make sure SLCache is empty .
Then try to activate Production Premium.
Mac :
1) Right click on Finder icon and  select "Go-To" Folder option.
  2) You will get a text box, type-in below command and then hit 'Return' key.
~/library
3)Then navigate to Application Support>Adobe.
Under Adobe folder
locate SLCache folder and move all its contents to backup folder on Desktop . make sure SLCache is empty .
Then try to activate Production Premium.
If the subscription is not completely removed , sometimes it will still recognize Cancelled CC subscription and prompts error .
You can check by signing in with different Adobe ID.

    The iCloud Photo Stream only stores up to 1000 photos for thirty days.  If you have more that 1000 photos or photos nearing the 30-day mark, you should export them to another device.

    Please quit the Creative Cloud desktop application by clicking the settings options and select Quit. Then please follow the following steps:
    Go to C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Local\Adobe and rename the folders "AAMUpdater" and "OOBE",
    Then go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe and rename "OOBE" folder.
    Make sure that the files and not hidden as AppData is hidden by default. Then relaunch Creative Cloud desktop application. Let me know for further help.

    Annoyed in what way are you unable to access CS4?  Do you need the installation files? Have you misplaced the serial number?  Do you receive an error message?  Also which operating system are you using?

    Note 1:  every day more users are reporting problems with iPhoto 8.1.2 so I've included it in the non compatible category.
    Note 2:  If your previous version of iPhoto was iPhoto 7 (08) or earlier you'll need to download and run the iPhoto Library Upgrader 1.1 application on the library before opening it with iPhoto 9.5.1

I restored it, I backed it up and I held the power and Home buttons for the reboot and still nothing. I've been looking to see if any one had the same problem and one guy did but they tOld him it was his hardware, but I don't think it was because my friend was able to get it working but it would stop working again like in 10min. So, has anyone had the same problem and can help? Please, I will greatly apretiate it. :)

    verify same on another Mac, its likely a dead SATA card inside the external enclosure.
    One assumes you arent referring to a 2012 Air with a Toshiba SSD, since the Air contains no hard drives, only a SSD.
    2013 Air use Sandisk or Samsung SSD.

    Hi Guys,
    I would love a little bit of help please.
    This was my setup before downloading Creative Cloud trial:
    - Windows 7 SP1
    - inDesign CS6 fully licensed
    - Photoshop CS6 trial mode, 11 days remaining.
    I then wanted to trial out a few other pieces of Adobe software so installed the Creative Cloud trial to make it easier to download them.
    Now however, my inDesign fails to launch. It shows the indesign.exe in Task Manager but no windows on screen. It slows down my computer whilst the process is active but its showing 0% CPU use.
    The trials I have downloaded via CC work great, the Photoshop that was on also still works.
    Could the Creative Cloud have knocked out my inDesign due to conflicting licenses?
    Please help!

    Hi Steven,
    You should be able to have both on the system without issue. I would just try uninstalling and reinstalling InDesign CS6 and re-enter the serial number.

  • I want to download trail of Photoshop to see if it will do what I am needing... It made me download Creative Cloud and now it won't even open...... What do I need to do to get this free trial of Photoshop?

    When I downloaded Creative Cloud it made me set up an account, download, verify my email. Now when I go and double click or right click and run, or right click and run as an administrator, Creative Cloud does nothing.................. I just want to download a trial of Photoshop to see if it will let me edit my images the way I need them done... If it works I plan on purchasing it because I will need to edit pictures repeatedly. It is quite frustrating when I try and download Photoshop and it makes me download this other thing to make it more "seemless" but then it doesn't even work. Now when I go to try and download Photoshop it just redirects to the Creative Cloud website and pops up saying it has to open something outside of Google Chrome. If I hit cancel, it does nothing (obviously), if it hit launch, it still does nothing...................... What am I doing wrong here???

    Please provide your operating system details along with the version of PS you are trying to download.

    I downloaded it and now a button that says start trial but it is not there, in fact there is no button at all, so I can click anywhere to open it.
