I'm sorry you're having issues with your e-mail account on your phone Rusty1112. Let's figure out what's going on. First, please try deleting account/information again and then restart phone. When phone is back on, try adding e-mail account again, and be sure you're entering exactly as you set up, meaning its case-sensitive. If you're still getting same error, please let us know and let us know what e-mail account it is, Yahoo, AOL, MSN, etc.

I regret that you're having trouble setting up your email, corbad! You're on the right track with your incoming email address. You might also try incoming.verizon.net or incoming.yahoo.verizon.net as possible alternatives, and 995 as the port number. Please let me know how that goes!

Rather than a "bug" - it appears to be some bizarre issue with the Apple servers that has been going on for a few days now. Users have had a few different issues with the App Store and a couple of them seem to have been fixed, but now this issue has cropped in the last couple of days.
No matter what we call this - it is not a necessary procedure, it's just fluke thing that needs to be addressed by Apple. This is not normal protocol for downloading apps from the App Store.

If you had checked the settings - you might have noticed that Siri isn't in the settings either. Siri is in the settings on the iPad 3, the iPad 4 and on the Mini.

Uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling should not affect your library. You should backup anyway.

Log out of your account on your iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in with the updated version of the account so as to 'refresh' it on it.

What you are telling me is contradictory information. So you will have to start over and give us proper details. One can not download Leopard for example. Or even Snow Leopard.
Can you also give me a screen shot showing me this exact error message on your system?

Cannot access iCloud using my Apple ID password.

I cannot access my iCloud account. Yesterday I started getting a message that I need to review and accept the new iCloud user agreement. My password was rejected repeatedly, so this morning when I got that message, I followed the prompts and reset my password. The new password word works for the iTunes store and it got me logged in here, but it won't work with the iCloud.
*** am I supposed to do now?

Solution: if you get the "Unsupported AppleID" dialogue following an OS update in OS X on a desktop / laptop.
     1) click "Cancel" button in the dialogue box,
then quickly
     2) switch to the main Preference window ( button in menu bar that looks like several rows of tiny icons)
     3) select the Security & Privacy Preference Pane, go to the Firewall tab and switch the firewall to OFF. (if necessary unlock padlock using your desktop keychain password)
     4) re-open the iCloud Preference Pane where everything should be normal again. Login to iCloud if required.
     5) switch back to Security & Privacy Preference Pane and switch Firewall back ON.

Worked following "unsupported AppleID" dialogue blocked new agreement in the iCloud Preference Pane following upgrade to Yosemite 10.10.3. (March 2015)
I'm not sure which aspect of the Firewall triggered the AppleID issue, it may have been "Block all incoming", or "stealth mode", or…? It would seem that following significant changes or upgrades to the OS ones computer needs to re-establish an authenticated handshake with iCloud, by a different than everyday method is normally used to sync documents and data, and that a firewall blocks this initial handshake.
This may explain why some folks who have an effective router based firewall also have problems setting up iPads and iPhones.

One could have reasonably have expected that Apple (the slackers) would have long since fixed this problem, or at least notified a workaround in the posted iCloud trouble shooting knowledgebase. This OS centred problem differs, from the earlier ICloud Authentication problem that was server based and affected users with very old AppleIDs that were flagged "Apple Retail Product Professional" which was caused by iCloud's database not recognising the Flag.

Didn't answer security questions, since update cannot access my itunes account with password

Since we updated my mother's ipad, she cannot access her itunes account. It wants her to answer two security questions, which we didn't do when we set it up. Also I put in all the info and it didn't recognize her birthday, which I know we put in right when we set up her account.

Cannot access internet using airport

I have recently set up an airport express in order to access the web and print wirelessly in my home. I have an iBookG4 which is running Mac OS X 10.4.11. I have been able to set up the airport express and the wireless printer without much issue. My connection to the internet, however, is not working. I have searched the apple support site and this forum thoroughly, and have seen some similar issues. I have tried everything that I've researched to fix the problem without success. It appears that the airport and cable modem aren't communicating. I called my ISP last night (Comcast) and they gave me the IP address for the modem I am using (not a Comcast issued modem . . . one I brought with me when I moved).
I am not a network guru, and therefore don'k know what I'm doing when trying to reconfigure the proper settings in the airport utility. I've tried all of the resetting and restarting of components numerous times, so I'm confident that isn't going to work. Therefore my questions are twofold:
1) can anyone guide me through changing the proper settings in the airport utility to recognize my cable modem ? or
2) if I hook up the iBook to the modem directly (which I did once, and was able to connect to the internet), will the settings adjust themselves ? Could I then write down all of the configuration information, then tranfer it to the proper places after reconnecting to the airport (the airport didn't seem to retain the information when I hooked the computer directly to the cable modem and then unhooked the ethernet cable from the computer and rehooked it to the airport).

Ok, thanks for the updates. Let's start by verifying that your AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBS) is properly configured to get its required IP Addresses from the modem.
To do so, we will use the AirPort Utility to check a few settings. I am going to assume that you are using the newer v5.x of the utility and not the earlier AirPort Admin Utility (v4.x). Please advise otherwise.
To check that the AEBS is configured as a DHCP client:
AirPort Utility > Manual Setup > Internet > Internet Connection
o Connect Using = Ethernet
o Ethernet WAN Port = Automatic (Default)
o Connection Sharing = Share a public IP address
AirPort Utility > Manual Setup > Internet > TCP/IP
o Configure IPv4 = Using DHCP
With the AEBS, configured as a DHCP client, the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Router Address, and DNS Servers fields should self-populate.

Cannot Logon OTN Using Correct Userid/Password

I just cannot log into OTN for anything. I did use password lookup utility to verify the password for my existing userid "khainguyen" (email:[email protected]). I also created a new userid 'knguyen8csu' (email: [email protected]). Nothing seems to work.I am using my friend's userid to post this message. Please help resolve the problem.

It seems almost random as to whether I can log in or not.
Have now managed to log in (using i.e.) using an exsting username.
When it doesn't log me in, it gives no error message, just doesn't log me in.
I'll try logging in using a New Private Window in FF - if i don't get back to you it's because i can't log in again.
All this is just a preliminary to my original question about getting FF to work at more than a snail's pace. Difficult to resolve when i can't log in!

Try clearing your cache in Safari, go into your preferences then click on the privacy icon then click on Remove all Website Data. then try to access the sites.
