I cannot access my Yahoo Mail account nor my Netflix account using FF. I can access these in IE. I do not like IE so help is appreciated.

Firmware: 05.13.04
Error message when I tried to access email: something about I need to enter my password. I went to settings > mail> accounts and entered what I KNOW is my Yahoo mail's password...
Error message: The username or password for "apple.imap.mail.yahoo.com" is incorrect.
And yet the password and my username were correct.
I deleted my Yahoo mail account from the iPhone, tried to re-add the Yahoo mail account and I get the same error message: The username or password for "apple.imap.mail/yahoo.com" is incorrect.
WTH?

Cannot access yahoo mail on my intel mac pro

hi i can access my yahoo email on my laptop using safari which is in power mac g4 but cannot do the same on intel mac pro can please someone suggest a cure?
When i enter user id and password while using safari to access email on yahoo mail using my laptop i do not have any problems. However, when i repeat the same using my mac pro safari seems to get me into yahoo mail but asks me repeatedly for my password and does not get me into my mail box.
Do i need to adjust my safari preferences or trash some files from the library? please help

I have had this problem for 2 days, where my yahoo Inbox says it is updated, but hasn't, then gives me "Cannot connect to mail servier" error message. If I go to my various folders (other than inbox) they will all update.
Very frustrating. All other email accounts work fine and only the inbox in yahoo seems to have this problem.

When resetting your password, did you turn on two-step authentication? If you did, the Mail App isn't compatible with it - either, you need to create an application password and use that to log in using the iPhone Mail App, (instead of your Microsoft Account password) or disable two-step authentication to make it work.

I am unable to log into my yahoo email account on my Mac OS X. This is very sudden. I have been able to for 6 years. I CAN access on a PC. I have never had this problem. I have never set up the mail program on Mac OS X.

No, it will not affect anything but Safari. I do this regularly anyway (in my case with Firefox because I prefer it over Safari). The cache remembers websites you've visited and, when internet connections were slow, then that was handy because the browser would reload the page from memory instead of reloading it fresh. With faster internet connections today, it is no longer of the same importance - it does speed up things a bit initially, but I haven't noticed any difference. Cookies are set by every site you visit - the only ones you might want to keep are cookies from your bank, financial institution, etc so they remember your machine when you log in. Other than that, they are a marketing tool and completely superfluous. And history is again something the computer remembers that you've visited a site before.

although I can open my yahoo account, when I click on mail, on this computer, it seems to be in a permanent loop - login.yahoo...., flashing in the address page., and it never stops. I can access my email through Internet Explorer and another PC but not this one.

No, I'm using classic. When I sign in it show that I have 2 accounts on the left side. It always works with my original account, but when I try to access the other account that I added with my website that I have with yahoo it does nothing. I never had to sign out and sign into the other account before, I would just click from one account to the next. I also get an error message all the time that says that I have been signed out of chat because I signed in on another system, but I am not? I do wish to continue using yahoo mail. There is no supported way to do so. Be aware, photos synced to your phone were reduced in resolution for display on your phone. There is no way to recover their full resolution.
You should be backing up your Mac. If you did so, you wouldn't be facing this issue.
