I cannot acess itunes on my computer

I cannot acess my itunes on my PC even if I connect my iphone

I had no issues with iTunes on my laptop until I decided to upgrade when I received an new iPod for Christmas. I was experiencing the same issue as you and none of the "solutions" I tried had remedied the situation.
When I attempted to install, the installation took a mere 3 seconds which clearly signaled an error of some kind. Yet, I never received an error message.
Tonight, about an hour ago, because I really wanted to have iTunes on my laptop, I tried once again. It worked. I did nothing. I think the version was different than during my previous attempts. I have not altered my settings at all so I can only attribute the successful installation to the newer version of iTunes.
I wish I could help you as I know how frustrating it is. I had this issue for over 2 months. The only thing I can suggest, beyond not giving up, is to make sure you have not disabled any services that may impede installation. Whilst trying to fix the problem. I also uninstalled iTunes-related components but you didn't mention Bonjour.
Have you considered using a clean up installer as is mentioned in this thread? http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1884889&tstart=0
Good luck.

I cannot install iTunes on my computer. Error code -45075

I used to have the same problem, and found a solution. It is very simple, ,just follow these steps below
Open the 'computer' file, found on start or might be on your desktop.
Click the C: drive, found on the left where theres a list of things such as favorites, desktop, etc
    Locate 'Users' and open it.
    Click your username
Go to AppData. (if its not there: on top, where theres 'File | Home | Share | View', click view, and then on the Show/Hide column, place a check by Hidden Items)
    Click 'Local'
    Locate Temp, and click it.
Highlight all the files and delete them. There might be some that you cant delete, but thats fine, just click 'skip'
Restart your computer, and it will be fixed!
    Hope I helped

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

  • HT1459 cannot download itunes to my computer have received error message that cannot download and open itunes because the support piece did not download....please help

Question:  I cannot successfully download itunes to my computer I have tried several times and every time after the download it says that I was unable to get the support piece and therefore cannot open itunes......please help.

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
    http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

  • I cannot find Itunes on my computer

Hi I recently bought a external hard drive and transferred my Itunes folder there from the laptop. But when I connect my Ipod to the computer I cannot find Itunes, the only thing on the external drive are the small files that belong to Itunes like ITUnes Resources etc..What do I do now? Its not on the computer either. What can I do? Thank you for your help.

Should be under Library>Movies. Try searching for it in the Movie section.

  • I was doing an update and recieved an error message that Itunes did not reinstall properly and now I cannot open iTunes on my computer

I was doing an update to my iTunes and it did not reinstall properly.  Now I cannot open iTunes at all on my laptop.  What are the fixes?

You need to follow the instructions of tt2 in https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5822086

  • Cannot install itunes on my computer

I can not reinstall itunes on my computer. i am recieving an error message   service 'apple mobile device' (apple mobile device) failed to start. verify that you have sufficient privileges to start systme services.

I've run into several machines lately having this issue and the
"Runtime error Program: C:\Program Files\itunes\itunes.exe R6034 An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime  library incorrectly. Please contact the applications support team for more information"
error.  Pretty much the troubleshooting steps everyone gives are correct, but I think they're missing some details.
Also these steps fix the apple mobile device service not starting during the itunes install.
From my recent experience do the following to resolve the issues.
    1. Uninstall Itunes, Apple Mobil support, Bonjour, Apple Software updater.
    2. In c:\program files and c:\program files(x86) make sure that all apple, itunes, and ipod related directories are deleted.
    3. In c:\program files\common files and c:\program files(x86)\common files make sure all apple directories are gone.
Restart the computer and reinstall itunes.
    Good luck!

  • I cannot open itunes on my computer i have re installed and get msvcr80.dill error

i cannot open itunes iget a error msvcr 80.dill after reinstalling itunes and cannot sync i phone or i pad

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

  • Message "cannot find Itunes on this computer"

Hi - I have a weird problem - I Tunes is installed, I can access and use it (and the store) from the taskbar and Google Chrome, but can't access it from Explorer - I get a message "can't find ITunes on this computer" and a download icon. I've tried downloading (even though it's already on the computer) and still get the same message. It's not a big deal as I can still get to ITunes, but I'd like to know what is going on with it and Explorer. Privacy settings seem to be okay, and disabling the firewall hasn't helped. Ideas anyone?

Just doublechecking, remy ... is that *Internet Explorer,* the web browser, that you're having the trouble with? (As opposed to Windows Explorer, the Windows Desktop?)

  • Cannot Access iTunes from New Computer Even Though It Is "Authorized"

I recently got a new MacBook Pro and signed in with my iTunes account info, authorized my computer, followed all instructions, but my music library does not show up. Still works fine on my two other authorized computers. Am probably missing something obvious? Any help would be much appreciated!

How did you move/copy the library to the new computer? You might try launching iTunes with the Option key down, then navigate to the location of the library when prompted.
