I cannot add audio to my DVD

I have created a DVD with all my photos and now have come to add audio to it, and it wil not drag into the audio

Have you tried creating a playlist in iTunes (even if only one track) and dragging the track into the audio well?
If that doesn't work try this basic troubleshooting fix :
1 - delete the IDVD preference file, com.apple.iDVD.plist, that resides in your
     User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete IDVD'S cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
     User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iDVD folder.

3 - launch IDVD and try again.
Damaged preference files can cause some strange, seemingly unrelated problems at times.
