I cannot clear a paper mismatch warning from the printer.

I keep getting a paper mismatch warning on my 6500 E709 n series printer. The settings have not changed and I have not added or removed any paper from the printer.
Powering down the printer & restarting did not work nor does removing the paper & restarting. How do I clear this mismatch error so I can print?

I am unsure of which printer model you have so I will be posting troubleshooting information for the Officejet 6500 E709n model. If you have a different model, please respond with your model and also the operating system you are working with. I will post some troubleshooting and information below for you.

Is this what you downloaded: iTunes 10.7?
When the update fails what if any error report do you get, specifically? Please do this before trying again:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.

Photosmart 7525 will not print in color, except from the printer.

This printer refuses to print in color from my computer. Since I bought it to print photos, this is distressing. I followed all suggestions posted for this problem. (I had tried them all before.) It WILL print a copy in color from the printer itself. That is the only way. I use Adobe Photoshop and it won't print in color from there, Word, or the internet. Checked printer preferences; grayscale not on. Printer full of ink. Paper and quality OK. Please instruct me on how to print color photos from a color printer!

Hey , Welcome to the HP Support Forum. I understand you're unable to print in colour via PC with your HP Photosmart 7525 e-All-in-One Printer. I'd like to work with you on this. I have some suggestions that might restore this functionality for you. From what you're reporting, with the printer printing in colour from standalone it sounds like the main issue is software related. Accordingly, I recommend you try the following steps: Clear Temp Files: Press Windows Key + RIn the Run dialogue box type %temp% and select OKIn the Temp folder select all items and delete them. The Temp folder contains temporary internet files. No actual files or folders on your computer will be affected by deleting the Temp files. On Windows Vista, 7 and 8 if a Temp file is still be used you can simply 'skip' the used item and everything else will delete successfully. Once the Temp files are deleted close the Temp folderRight click on the Recycling Bin on your desktop and select Empty Recycling BinNext, I recommend running Microsoft Fix it (it's designed for Windows 7 but I have found that it works with 8 and 8.1). Click here to install. I've had a lot of luck detecting and automatically solving common printer software setup issues with this utility. If Fix it doesn't find a fix, or it prompts to uninstall the printer driver click here to reinstall your printer. Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post. Print Jobs Disappear from the Print Queue and Do Not Print

As the title say, It sends to the spool, says printing, disappears, and I cry, because nothing is printed.
HP Deskjet 1513 - Windows 7
Tried wiping out and reinstalling the drivers
The ones that came from the CD, OR the ones online. No response from the printer.
I can clean the printer, align cartridges, print test page, scan documents, but cannot print documents.
Not from word, not from pdf, nor a web page, neither notepad.
The printer IS the default printer.

HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless, Windows 7 64-bit. Printer is leaking from the printer head area. The problem doesn't seem to be coming from the heads but maybe another connection?????

Please try the following steps:
Open the file in Adobe Reader
Click on File menu - Print
In the Print Dialog box, select the Printer and then select Advanced button
In the Advanced print setup, Please check 'Print as Image' (See the Screen shot)
Click Ok and then Click Print.

Try this process on your Mac. These files will be regenerated by Mac OS X with default settings.
1. Quit the Mac App Store

3. Restart your Mac
4. Open the Mac App Store

Problem creating a PDF from the "print view" of a web page

When creating a PDF from the "print view" of a web page, the features in the print dialog box overlap. When the PDF is created, the words are garbled. e.g. words apppear as jzhhhxxf or zxihcj.

Use a job settings that embeds the fonts. If you look at the PDF, the font properties probably do not look correct and don't include embedded fonts. Also, set the printer to Adobe PDF before you try to do a print, so that the web page can try to properly adjust to the printer.
Why not just try opening the web site directly in Acrobat?
