I cannot connect to the add-ons page to get new ones
When I go to Tools, add-ons, I get the "What are add-ons?" and it tells me that when I connect to the internet the panel will feature many options.
I am online why can I not connect to the add-ons page?

There have been a number of issues with server problems over the last few days. Try to go to that Mozilla page again. The issues have been intermittent and could return at any time until a final resolution is found. This forum page has also been affected by the problem(s).

I have already seen some suggested solutions to the problem of this extremely annoying Yahoo DNS error solutions page, but they involve going to the add-ons page of firefox and disabling various add-ons. The issue is that even when I try to go to the add-ons page I get immediately redirected to the Yahoo DNS solutions page again.
I have cleared my browser history and cache, hoping it would help, but nothing. Extremely annoying as I never installed anything - it simply started after a Firefox upgrade.
Any help much appreciated.Open the Help menu and choose Restart Firefox with Add-ons Disabled. Remove any offending extensions. For details, see the "Uninstall from Firefox Safe Mode" section of the following article.

I have twice downloaded the latest version in the last month. Each time I encountered the same problems. the Weather Channel add-on I have did NOT appear in the latest version. When I tried to access the Add-Ons page under the Tools header it would not load. When I tried to contact Mozilla from the Help header it would not load
When I open a web page from Bookmarks it is painfully slow to load.
This is NOT an improved version. I have been using Firefox for years without problems; I prefer it to Internet Explorer. However the latest 'improved' version may change my mind.The problem is that the Add-ons Manager tab when opened the first time, is on "Get Add-ons" section and that must be downloaded from the Add-ons server which might be overburdened.

Whenever I open firefox a add ons screen comes up with the yahoo web page behind it. . I just want the Yahoo web page and do not want to close the add ons page every time I use my computer.
I don't know what else to say about this. It is a screen that comes up in its own window everytime I open FirefoxPlease check your home page setting and see if about:addons is listed. If it is, please remove it

Firefox keeps opening the Add-ons page
Whenever I launch Firefox or open a new tab, the add-ons page opens. This has been happening since I updated to Firefox 4 a few days ago. I've tried disabling all the add-ons I have but it makes no difference. I've also turned off updates for add-ons, that didn't help either.
I'm running Windows XP.

On the add ons page, when i click a category nothing happens ?
after new version of firefox updated, my weather extension was incompatible. when i go to the add ons page and click a category , nothing happens. what's going on ?
Del your cache (Ctrl+Shift+Del > Time range : Everything > Just choose cache > Clear now) > Reload

cannot re enable the add ons after the new 13.0.1 update ,it shows no update available and all the add-ons are disabled
I have the same problem. One minute everything was okay, the next minute all my addons were disabled.

I can reenable them but FF will disable them on the next startup. I uninstalled version 13 and installed version 12. Problem gone! So I'm still using version 12 and am afraid to update to version 13.
This problem began when I was trying to research and fix a problem (no history all-of-a-sudden) so it probably was something I caused. Can't recall everything I did though.
So: Does the addon problem I described have a solution? If so, I'll update my version 12 to version 13. Please respond..... -
i'm using firefox version 6 and for the last three days the add-ons manager page won't load. my question is why won't the add-ons page load? is the server down on your end?

my new ipad works perfectly. the iphone 5, however, cannot connect to the same wifi, can barely get a 3G signal, and the power level is at 53% after being barely used for 1\2 a day. Is this a hardware problem?? My old 3Gs was fine until it died.

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

when i click on the add ons tab the page does not show correctly. There are no graphics just text. It is difficult to view the page details. If you click on a link within the page the next page opens with exactly the same problem. All other tabs and pages open and display correctly

It seems my machine does not like your ver4 and 3.6.16. I want the ver prior to 3.6.16. . Since the last 2 updates have not been able to use FF to browse or play Webkinz. It is way too slow. Following the install of 3.6.16 the Colorfultabs is not working and I can't fix it or adjust it because the Add-ons list/page freezes. I have removed/disabled several add-ons and extensions and nothing seems to help. If it were not for IE I would not be able to use my machine. I have 2.5 GB of memory and 30 percent plus of free space on my hard drive. I use Windows XP SP3 if that makes a difference. I don't think I need a lot of add-ons but need to know what I can remove. The feature to open FF without any add-ons is gone for some reason. Please give me back my simple smooth operating FF. Thank you.
I had all the dot nets in add/remove but discovered they were not installed. Got all up to date. Puter is 2005, I have all that U listed except Win7. I just don't know if I need that or not. Did U say that I need more than the 2.5 GB
memory that I have? Please tell me why Win7 is better than WinXP.
FF is running much better now but Webkinz accounts are still loading slower than in IE. I am wondering if maybe I should totally remove all of FF including customizations and personal info and start over fresh with a clean install of ver 4. I am still using ver 3.6.16. Is it possible that this is reason for Webkinz (a flash, java and Unity game) not loading good? Also, are there some of the Plug-ins that I can remove? What Audio players do I need? I have wmp, real player, aol media playback, realarcade, realjukebox, also is Zylom usable? Thank you so much for your help. -

On my ipod touch it always shows cannot connect to the internet how can I get it to connect?
On my ipod touch It shows i am connected wifi and have put in the correct password yet it says i am not connected to the internet.When i try to go on my appd or itunes it is stuck on loading. And so I reset it in my settings now all my apps are blank but when i click on them they are there but i have to sign in to itunes.
If Restrictions are set for Safari, iTunes ect, theh apps are hidden which is not the case for the poster.
Try the following:
- Reeet. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset> Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
You may also have to restore the iPod -
They are not listed in the Appearance Tab anymore like they were before. How do I change my themes now.
