I cannot delete/complete reminders since I upgraded to Firefox 4

Since I upgraded, I cannot complete, delete or acknowledge any of my reminders. I have tried to upgrade again. Still no luck.

Reminders in what? That's not a standard feature in Firefox.

Deleting completed reminders

The logic here is flawed, when I complete a reminder it stays on the completed reminder list forever. So years from now you'll have 15 pages of completed reminders just sitting there. Who designed this, a child?
I can not see any way to delete completed reminders, once I do something and check it off, I want it gone, I don't want it sitting off in the background on top of my reminder list.
Is there a faster better way other than going into my icloud settings? A right click or something that I'm missing?

I am sure you were only trying to help with the support article you directed us to. But, as others have said, what we are all looking for is a way to do bulk deleting of reminders FROM WITHIN THE REMINDERS APP (or perhaps within Settings) ON OUR iOS DEVICE. Going to settings in the iCal application on our laptops or desktops to affect functionality on our iDevices is inconvenient at best. At worst, it won't work, because (as 100 Watt Walrus states) that functionality is only available to those running the Lion operating system. In addition, philosophically, it seems to really go against the "cutting the cord" paradigm that Apple has fairly aggressively advertised. What about all those folks who only have an iDevice?
Still, the more important issue here (IMHO) is that you tried to help. As for me, since I am not running Lion, I have but one option if I want to contribute. Go to Apple's feedback site and explain the problem and request a speedy and smart solution. Hopefully, others will do the same. For all we know, the soon to be released iOS 6 will address this issue. I sure hope, for Apple's sake, it does. Otherwise the wrath of those participating in this discussion forum is sure to descend on Apple. :-)

Check Settings>General>Date & Time>Set Automatically>On. Make sure that the time zone setting is also set correctly.

The F5 Networks Host Plugin no longer works since I upgraded to Firefox 4.0.1 and this is a major problem. what needs to be done to correct this?

When attempting to login to a GlasPac (auto glass) website, it requires an F5 Plugin to be installed. This has been working in the past using Firefox 3.x.x and now since I upgraded to Firefox 4.0.1 it says the plugin in not compatibable with Firefox 4 and will not load it so I am dead in the water !!!!!!! The FF 4.0 upgrade has caused this serious situation ... what needs to be done to rectify it ???

Since I upgraded to Firefox 36 a few days ago my MacBook Air's battery has been draining at a horrendous rate when I've got Firefox open. For instance, just now when I'd not got Firefox open, my activity monitor told me I've got two hours usage, but as soon as I opened Firefox (even with not having a window open) my usage was instantly downgraded to about 50 minutes. I'm having to recharge the lappy every four hours, which is ridiculous - and wasn't happening until I installed the upgrade.
On top of that, since I installed the upgrade, Firefox has crashed at least once a day, which hasn't happened at all in the nine months I've had this MacBook Air.
This isn't like you guys! What's happened?

Hi Cathy, it is mysterious why Firefox is so busy. Often Firefox has cache maintenance and other tasks that make a lot of disk accesses, but they shouldn't run continuously.
Could you try operating Firefox in its Safe Mode for a while to see whether that makes any difference? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
* "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
* Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still run
After Firefox shuts down, a small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset).
Any difference?

Upgrading to firefox 5 and updating my plug-ins helped a bit. Frog is less 'sticky' now, but it's not solved the problem. Java needs to be up to speed or the frog goes into stasis....

Note that if you remove the cert8.db file that this removes all intermediate certificates that Firefox has stored and possible exceptions that you created in the paste as well (see also cert_override.txt).
You will have to leave libPKIX disabled for now if that makes it possible to access these websites.
A possibility is to create a button with the PrefBar extension to toggle the security.use_mozillapkix_verification pref when needed, so you can see which sites have issues with PKIX.
What kind of error message do you get when you visit these websites if there is still one?
Can you attach a screenshot of the technical details or possibly post a link if the site is publicly accessible (i.e. no authentication or signing on required)?

Cannot import RAW files since I upgraded to Yosemite

I used to import RAW files using iPhoto from my T3 Canon camera but since I upgraded to OS X Yosemite (10.10.1) and iPhoto 9.6 I cannot do this anymore. I have reinstalled the OS, applied all the RAW upgrades and even deleted and installed iPhoto again but raw photos cannot be successfully imported. Additionally, OS X becomes unstable after trying to import Raw files. I have the same problem in two different PCs (a Mac mini, a MacBook Pro) as a result, I have concluded that there is a problem with the RAW compatibility drivers. How can I convince Apple that there is something wring with their drivers?

Start by letting them know:
iPhoto Menu -> Provide iPhoto Feedback
Then try reinstall the Raw Support. This thread

How to delete completed reminders automatically

When I complete a reminder, is there a way for the reminder to be deleted, either immediately or after a short period of time?

It's annoying, because that is the way completed Reminders worked in the previous version of OSX and before Reminders were added to iOS6. Reminders were in OSX previously and they were part of the Calendar application. In the Calendar preferences, you could specify the number of days that you wanted Completed Reminders to be kept. And they automatically deleted after that time period. However, when they split Reminders out of Calendar and made it a new application on OSX and also added it to IOS and iCloud, they did not maintain this "tidy things up" preference as far as I can tell. So my list of Completed items is now about 250 items long. I can manually delete them in iOS or OSX one at a time or and even delete them fairly quicky on the iCloud website, but still one at a time. It's annoying to lose functionality for an existing application just because it was "enhanced" in other ways. Frustrating.

Since the upgrade to firefox, when in Thunderbird email, clicking on a link in thunderbird does NOT open a window in Firefox. Please fix!!

It used to be when I clicked on a link in Thunderbird, it would open a tab in Firefox. Since the upgrade (?) this no longer works.
Also when opening a new tab in Thunderbird, the new tab would show thumbnails of past sites which was very convenient. Now that doesn't work either.

Since the upgrade to firefox 3.6, why can I not even bring it up now?

Since upgrading to firefox 3.6 I have not been able to launch the program. I have uninstalled and re-loaded it yet nothing happens. The exe file is present and the shortcut shows up on my desktop but it refuses to launch, even logged in as the administrater.
Windows Explorer is what I am using to contact you. It is working just fine as well as my other internet programs.
I even went back and restored my computer to an earlier date then 11/5/2010 (the date the upgrade was launched) with no avail.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

Since I upgraded to Firefox 6 the recent news feed has disappeared. How do I get it back?

I play Zynga's Cafeworld on Facebook. The "recent" key on the newsfeed has disappeared with the upgrade to Firefox 6. I must go to individual walls to get current requests. How can I fix this?

Are your video drivers or display adaptor drivers up to date? (Plausibly, the higher version of Safari may have outstripped the capabilities of your existing drivers. If so, an update of the drivers may be of some assistance.)

I Cannot Delete Any Calendars Since Upgrading to Mavericks

Every time I try and delete a calendar it disappears, then reappears when iCloud updates again.
I've tried deleting the calendar(s) from iCloud, from my iOS devices, from my iMac, from my laptop.
It is always the same.
It disappears then reappears.
Does anyboday know what to do?

Troubleshooting is a process of elimination. Testing in a new User will quickly tell you if the problem is system wide or if it’s your User’s folder that contains the problem.
Put a PDF in the Shared folder. Put one you created and one from another source.
Your Hard Drive/Users/Shared
When you "Switch Users", you can access the PDFs in the shared folder.
CREATE A NEW USER
Go to System Preferences --> Create a New User in Accounts. Switch to the New User by logging out/in or use Fast User Switching.
Open System Preferences and make sure a printer is selected.
Drag the PDfs from Shared (it actually copies) to Desktop. Try printing
Do you still see the issue?
If no, then the problem is in your User's folder.
