I Cannot do Alignment in SFP Form

Hi Guys,
I need a solution to my issue here, which is related to SFP forms.
I cannot do alignment to some certain columns in the left and right?!!
However, I can delete it and modify its content.
Can any one tell me how can I do this?

Oracle Forms 11gR2 - Cannot deploy locally from within Forms

I cannot deploy locally from within forms. The server is up and running and I can deploy the form by putting the correct URL in the address line of the browser window. When I try to deploy from within forms it comes up with some crazy URL that differs everytime.
This is what the URL should be and this works from the browser:
http://machinename:7002/forms/frmservlet?form=WRD608ADMIN_11g.fmx&userid=&otherparams=useSDI=yes
Here is one of the URLs it came up with when I try to run it from within Forms:
http://localhost:60231/lysVL2VjqT33znjfvLwanktVRxTIc6dEwVeRNXXRmhYU2qjf
Localhost is always there, but the rest varies.
In Forms, I have the Preferences, Runtime set to:
http://machinename:7002/forms/frmservlet
Where machine name is my PC, it is the same for this address as the URL above that works directly from the browser.
So what am I missing?

Generally speaking, it is discouraged to manually edit any of the configuration files if they are managed by WLS Console or EM. In this case, default.env is managed by EM. Therefore, changes to the file should be done through EM. If however, you want to alter the file manually, the following is likely the best way to accomplish this:
1. Stop the WLS Admin Server and Node Manager
2. Locate the proper file you wish to edit. By proper I mean, there are several copies of most config files. Most of the config files found in the Oracle Home are actually template files and are not used at runtime. Altering these will not give you the change you want. The default.env you want would be here (assuming Windows)
C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\ClassicDomain\config\fmwconfig\servers\WLS_FORMS\applications\formsapp_11.1.2\config
If you are using a "Development" installation type, the above path will reflect AdminServer instead of WLS_FORMS. Remember that Development installations are not for multi-user purposes. Production deployments require the "Deployment" installation type, which can also include the Builders.
Do NOT make any changes yet.
3. Once you find the correct file, create a backup copy. Then open the file for edit (not the backup).
4. Make the desired changes and save.
5. Restart Node Manager and Admin Server if you plan to use them.

System takes long time to Save/Activate using SFP Form Builder

We are planning to customize the Travel Expense PDF Form PTRV_EXPENSE_FORM in ECC 6.0 using transaction SFP FORM BUILDER (ABAP Workbench). As the initial step we copied it into Z form and started the changes. Here is the problem: Even for a small change on the Layout, system is taking long time to complete the process.
For example:
For Saving the changes: 6 to 7 minutes
For Activating the changes: 12 to 13 minutes.
On the server side :
we are on ECC 6.0, SAP NW04s SP 9 for EA-HR
ADOBE LiveCycle Designer 7.1 (Patch 3 applied).
On client machine :
we have SAP GUI 640 Patch Level 21,
ADOBE Reader 7.0.9.
Client machine has 1 GB RAM & 40 GB Hard Drive.

Formatting error in SFP Form

Hi Experts ,
I want to generate one SFP form YLFN_INVOICE_FORM_PT , via one output type ZP00 using TC VF03.
Previously the Print preview was coming , but now no Print Preview is coming.
Please check how i am doing.
1) Goto VF03 , selecting the billing type ZP00 and pressing the Print Preview.
2) Its Blank and come to Screen of VF03.(Invoice Display)
Can u suggest what should i check in form or in Layout. After so many hours of debugging i found Formatting Error at last.
But when i am checking with the previous version i am not getting any layout difference and also my form is also activated.

you got a smartform i guess, right?
if so, implement a call to FM SSF_READ_ERRORS right under the call of your smartform.
It will catch all the errors thrown during form processing.
You can then go via SE91 message SSFCOMPOSER with your message numbers of your return table and check what´s wrong.
Probably a table or template doesnt fit into main window, or some main window has another width in different pages. But well thats guessing, just find it out.

Error "Cannot navigate out of current form" is raised after closing window.

We are currently migrating from Designer 6.0 with Headstart 2.1.2 to Designer 6i release 4.10 with Headstart 6.5.3.0. We have a form with an action item in it to call another form. An error FRM-41351 "Cannot navigate out of current form" is raised when the following steps are undertaken:
- Start the generated form (from the menu).
- Push the button the call the second form.
- Close the second form.
- Close the first (parent) form.
If we start and close the first (parent) form without have started the second one, this error is not raised.
After some investigation, the problem seems to have something to do with the library OFGNAVL65.PLL. It looks the generated form tries to close a window based on a non-existent ID.
Has anyone experienced this same problem? Can you help me?

Forms 6i error FRM-41351 Cannot navigate out of current form

Does anybody know why this error occurs?
I have an ordinary Forms 6i module, running in 2-tier (client-server) mode. When I try to do an EXIT_FORM, I get an error:
"FRM-41351: Cannot navigate out of current form"
My form is called from a top-level form, but plenty of other forms are also called in exactly the same way from the top-level form, and none of them causes this error, and I can see no other reason why this form should produce this error.
The Forms 6i help entry for this error is meaningless, and I can find no information about it on the web or on the Oracle TechNet, so any advice would be very welcome!

You may be hitting Bug:1632441, which is fixed in patchset 12. If either form has a When-Window-Deactivated trigger, try disabling that and see if you still have the problem. If not, then as a workaround you may be able to put that logic in a when-form-navigate trigger instead. Or you can programmatically trap the error in an On-Error trigger if you are actually able to navigate out of the form. See the bug for more details.

FRM-41351 Cannot Navigate Out of Current Form

I have an Action Item to call another form. Sometimes (not always) when exit out of called form the above error occurs.
I have added the above message to qms_messages setting to suppress but the message still appears.
I am using call method of CALL_FORM with display of HIDE as QMS$AI_CALL_FORM doesn't appear to take any note of the display of HIDE.
Any help would be appreciated.

It is indeed a bug.
We have the same problem, but we have added a line to the QMS$INIT_APPLICATION procedure in the application library to suppress the message. And that works fine.
Add the following to the procedure:
-- Suppress error FRM-41351 Cannot navigate out of current form (Forms bug 871936)
qms$forms_errors.add_suppress_message('FRM-41351');

i have a formmodule id filled correctly. And i need to navigate to this form through this id.
Therefore, i use go_form(myformmodule)
when this particular form is closed, i got the error "cannot navigate out of current form".
can i verify before that m form is still opened or not ? this will help me avoid the error message.

Error when uploading file in TA: SFP (Form Builder)

Hi Everybody,
i am having a problem in Transaction SFP (Form Builder)
I download a Form Objekt and it was written correct in my Local Drive with the ending xxxx.XML.
Then i wanted to Updold the file, then it says:
"Error occurred when uploading file (unknown file format)
Message no. FPUIFB068"
we are using ERP2005 Rel. SAP ECC 6.0

Hi All,
Even I faced the same issue whenI tried to upload the form which was developed in Standalone Live cycle designer and I wanted to upload the same into SAP SFP. Initially I felt that this kind of activity might be supported by SAP Adobe Live Cycle deisgner, But it says the Error wron file foramt....
So what I felt is instead of trying to upload the form by using the tool provided by SAP... I directly copy pasted the XML source code into the SFP newly ccreated blank form. ya..it displays some warning messages...But still since I used a Printable form so I could not face any issue...Might be there would be some effect of this warning in Interactive forms.....
But for copying this you donot want to be a expert in the XML area.. All I did was just copied the source xml file from the line <TEMPLATE> tag and till the end and I replaced in the target xml fiel from the same tag from the top <TEMPLATE>....
and save and activate.....

FRM-40039 Cannot attacth library While openning form (At Web Application Server)

Dear All,
We are migrating an application from developer 6 to developer
6i, and we have some pls/sql libraries attached to our forms;
the libraries were recompiled, reattached and the forms were
recompiled too, neverthelse when we try to run the forms from
the Web Application Server, we got the error FRM-40039 Cannot
Attacth Library While Openning Form xxx. Also we set the
FORMS60_PATH with the current librarie's path.

1. Do we have to place the PLL in the FORMS_PATH all the time. If i don't want to then what is the alternativeThere is no alternative. You can't expect the Forms Builder to read your PL/SQL Library if it can't find it. Therefore, you have to have the .pll some where the Forms Builder can* find it. This means you have to have it in a directory in your FORMS_PATH or you have to hard code the path to the library (this is not recommended at all because you would have to duplicate this path on your deployment AIX environment).

Cannot catching events on some forms.

Hello,
When you go to Issue for Production and click Production Order cfl will pop up with production orders currently available and then when you select one or more orders another form will show with all the items from production orders selected from cfl.
I created very similar workflow but I cannot catch events with that latter form (the one that displays items from selected production orders). I would like to be able to react to item pressed event or item click.
It seems as if I cannot catch events on a form created inside cfl.
What is going on?

it is possible. I know that there are several forms in SAP B1, which missing some general events (ex: service form)

I cannot e sign a pdf form

I am logged into my adobe acct so it isnt a question about forgotten passwords-however I cannot e sign a pdf form, why?

I saw the response below on another post and wonder if this will resolve your issue too. Good luck.
The error in Adobe's programming on this page for some users is that what is addressed above is that you cannot enter a password because there is only ONE place that appears....there isn't two visible places that the user can match.
To get around this, first enter your password in the box you can see (first box). Then the work around is that you enter the TAB KEY. This will put you into the next box (that you can't see) and you will re-type your password blindly. Make sure that you are typing it in exactly as the first as you are typing in the proverbial ether. Hit the 'accept' button (or enter or whatever the OK button is for the page--sorry, i don't have the exact reference in front of me--but i think this part is self-explanatory) that you can see. Hope this helps.

C4599 Install problem Cannot print alignment page, carriage jam message, says to remove cardboard

Just set up the printer but it will not print the alignment page because of a "carriage jam". It says to remove the cardboard but there is no cardboard in the printer. What should I do?

ok, when I thought the problem was resolved, it was temporary. The problem is back. I have searched the forums multiple times and can find no other problems or discussions similar to mine. I even went so far as to reload my machine from scratch. I have the exact same problem. I can reproduce it by creating a new blank project and adding a single empty report definition to the project. If I then try to go into the Page Setup dialog, i get the following error

The dialog then appears but is empty. If I go to the preview of the report and select the Print Report button, VS2008 gets the following error

I get the same out of memory error in the standalone designer. I have DEP turned off at the BIOS level as well as via the following bcdedit.exe /set nx AlwaysOff
I then went to my home machine which has VS2008 and Vista64 and installed Crystal12 and SP1 and had the exact same issue. Also when I run my app in debug mode from VS I cannot assign a printer to the report. It gives an exc eption that says that is an invalid printer. If I exit VS and run the same exe, I can assign a printer and run the report.
While I am developing with Vista64, I am targetting x86 machines, not 64bit machines. Am I really the only one with this problem on 2 boxes I tried it on? Is there any help?
I am creating a standard VB forms app nothing web related.
