I cannot download any app from my iPhone 5.

I cannot download any app from my iPhone 5 and only from my iPhone because when I purchase from my iPad or my Mac it works right, and always shows up this message "Could not be purchased at this time. Please try again later", it appears no matter if I download a paid app or free app, it always appears.

As of 5 minutes ago I could not update any apps. It says "cannot download app". I tried using itunes on my PC to download or update and also received errors. Says the file appears corrupt or something.
Apple's sytem status page http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/ shows nothing.
What is going on?

You need to restore it with iTunes or wipe it from the phone itself... Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. Either of these will create a factory fresh phone, thus removing the restrictions. Note that ALL user data will be wiped.

i don't think you can use prepaid cards that aren't itunes gift cards for purchases in itunes anymore. if you don't see the option 'none' under payment options, then you need to add a card to the apple id. once you add it, you should then see the 'none' option and can choose not to use that as your payment method under settings > itunes and app stores > tap on your apple id and choose 'view apple id' > payment options

Hello - I have the iPhone 4S & I'm unable to download any new apps from the app store. I click on INSTALL but only indicates INSTALLING for about 2 seconds then goes back to INSTALL; I'm not prompted to enter my ITunes password; Install isn't working. I thought it was a storage issue, but I have over 3 GB of space available and I restarted the phone. Also noticing some apps that I use daily are crashing (i.e. Candy Crush). Not sure if its only a coincidence. Any thoughts?

do you have wifi connection? Modem and router working and you can surf websites in safari?

You could try deleting the app which is still installing. If it doens't work, hold power and home button together for more than 15 seconds to reset the phone. Once the phone is restarted, try deleting the app again. Hope this helps.

The ipad question was someone else's. I have no problem with any other device (laptop, Nook, PS3, Android daughter's phone) at home or work. Just my iphone. I tried posting my question a few times and it has yet to show up. At least this made it online! I was almost ready to purchase an Ipad3, but this is starting to make a Galaxy Tab look pretty good!

I have the same problem since this morning, when my Ipod touch (version 4.2.1) unexpectedly asked me for the network's password. Entering the password does not help, the message "Unable to join..." keeps appearing.

You can ONLY use the itunes store of your country of residence.
You cannot use another countrys itunes store.

I have this problem too since ios6 upgrade.
4S iphone I can connect to itunes on 3g and download an app no problem.

I can't search any videos on YouTube/Download any app from the App Store

Hi,
I am using movistar 3G network (Spain), full signal. Everything works fine, Stock app, Weather app, Mail, Safari... but I can't search for any videos on YouTube and can't download any app from the App Store.
I can see videos on YouTube app but only the featured videos, when I try to search the ones I want to see I get an error message "Cannot connect to YouTube".
The only problem is when searching videos on YouTube app.
When I try to download an app from the App Store I get a similar error message, "The download can´t be done, connect to iTunes" more or less, that's the sense of the message.
I can connect to the AppStore, surf it but when I press Install... I get the error message.
I know that my carrier, movistar (Spain) has an issue with secure webs (https), it's impossible to surf any secure web by now but I don´t know if this is related with my problems.
This happens with 2.1 and 2.2 firmware version.
I have the iPhone set in spanish from Spain and the time is right. By the way, using WiFi everything works fine, everything, I can search for videos on YouTube app and download apps from the AppStore.
I don´t know what more can I do, can someone help me? please. = (

FWIW, the only part of Java not installed is the Java Runtime Environment. Launch the Java Preferences.app in /Utilities and DL it when prompted. Then, enable plugins and Web Start apps.
