I cannot download application on app store

Hi Carolyn and many thanks for the advice!  It does not work, however.  The app (Tagalicious in this particular case) is not hidden.  I have uninstalled it and then I have made a second mistake - I have clicked on the little cross against its name in the "My Purchases" section on the App Store.  As a result, it is no longer on the list there, but when I search for it on the App Store, it shows up indicating that it is "Installed".
When I tried to follow your advice, namely:
"How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed  then click Install."
I failed as neither the control click, nor the command click options did not do anything.  The "Installed" button remain inactive irrespective of my clicks:-((((

    2. Are you downloading from Nokia Store on the phone or using Nokia Suite?
    3. Type of connection you're using (WiFi/mobile data)
    4. Any error message you're getting?

  • Iphone5 - Downloading application from app store takes more than 24 hours to download and install, even if the memory size of app is very small about 2 MB. WIFI connection seems to works well - because the webpages browsing using safari is very fast.

    I face problem with downloading application from apple store.
    It took more than 5 hours to install google maps application and many other application took more than 24 hours.
    It is very worst to see such downloading performace with my new bought iphone5.
    My WIFI connections seems to be very good. As I can able to open many webpages at very high speed.
    I can able to see my many HD videos open and play immediately once I touch.
    Though i cannot able to test the speed, as the www.speedtest.net also not working in my iphone5.
    When i launch speedtest.net app i get the message "Finding closest server" forever and it is never showing the speed details.
    My laptop shows the 10Mbps speed with speedtest.net on the same WIFI network
    I got much frustrated with iphone5. Can someone help me to fix this issue ?

    Router: 192.168.0.7
    DNS: 180.168.255.118, 192.168.1.1
    These are my WLAN details.under DHCP and BootP. Could you please tell me what to do with the DNS ? I do not have idea about the DNS.

  • After upgrade to OS4.0 cannot buy applications in App Store

    After the upgrade to OS4.0 (Iphone 3GS) I cannot buy anymore applications in App Store. I have accesso to the appstore and applications but the icon with the buy/download in the right corner does not appear for any application. The only thing I can buy is audiobooks (strange .....)
    I have already tried with other itunes account and the behaviour is the same. With OS3.0 I haven't any problems.
    Anyone can help ?

    I also found when checking the carrier settings it would get this wrong on automatic
    I was checking it & lost service found out was set to vodafone.
    So going to not use the automatc setting, set to optus.
    Still have the 3G iratatic download bar behaviour but use wifi
    I think the enhances to app store downloads must be a little buggy

    Changed password for iTunes/App Store
    Verified Account including Credit Card Info
    Repaired Disk
    Repaired Permissions
    Reloaded Mountain Lion (ML)
    Verified Programs (ML, iTunes) were up-2-date
    Disabled anti-virus software
    Disabled Firewall
    I can purchase Apps or purchase songs from iTunes; just cannot download.  I get "An error has occurred" (on Purchases Page)  I get an alert when downloading from the App Store to go the Purchases Page and try downloading. 
    This is on my MacBook Pro running ML. (v.10.8.2)  I can sign into my account using my wife's MacBook Air and download all day in either iTunes or the App Store.  I can also download with my iPad.
    I really am at a loss.  There may be more that I have done but right now I am burnt out and tired of this.  Apple Support has been no help.
    I would greatly appreciate any help.

  • Cannot download Mavericks from App Store - error 1004, then error 13.

    I have previously downloaded Mavericks 10.9.5, but now I cannot a second time.  When I attempt to download, I get an error code 1004..hitting cancel gives me error 13. Yosemite will download, but I don't want it until the "bugs" are worked out - maybe version 10.10.2.
    Have contacted technical support by phone and cannot talk to a real person, only the menu system..want a serial number for a Mac. Since my MacBook Pro is over 3 years old, says I must pay for a technical support session - $29 fee.
    This is how to treat a loyal customer?  Pay for support for an App Store failure to download a free upgrade?

    This advise (in theory) should work. However, there are no "hidden items", but there is a "manage" link
    Clicking on that link shows me nothing other than 2 previously downloaded, and since removed, free items (free apps I tried but later removed).
    There is no "hidden" Mavericks download, or for that matter, previously downloaded Mountain Lion.
    (Which I also cannot download from the "purchases" page.)
    There is a button labeled "Reset" which links to "Reset all warnings for buying and downloading" which I have tried multiple times with no positive result.
    No joy.

    I haven't been able to download anything from the Mac App Store. I've tried a few things to help with troubleshooting, and this is what I've gotten so far:
    - I cannot download anything when I use my computer
    - I cannot download anything, even if logged into another user (it is not limitted to my account)
    - I can download things if I'm logged into my account on another computer
    - Internet connection is not the issue, as I have tried many internet signals
    I don't have any firewalls or anything like that.

    I fixed it by turning my computer off and on again.
    Go figure, I've been trying to fix this for weeks.

    Running lion on a brand new macbook pro and keep receiving this message when attempting to download even free apps:
    "There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (4)"
    It appears right after typing in password to apple id.
    I came back over 12 hours later and still got that message.  Tried restarting and still the message...
    ideas?

    here is a solution for someone that I found (If you don't have a second AppleID, try creating a new one):
    "I was trying to download an App from the Mac OS X App Store. When I put in my password and clicked Sign In, instead of downloading and installing the application this message came up:
    There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (4)
    Luckily I have more than one Apple ID, so I just deleted my email address from the left text field and put in my other email address, put in my password or that one and clicked Sign In again. It worked fine."

  • Unable to download application from app store

    I had been using iPhone for couple years now. With my new iPhone 5, I am now experiencing an issue with the App Store applications. This is the first time it happen to me.
    Issue: when I try to download apps from App Store, iPhone will have a pop up message saying "unable to download application" with popup buttons of "done" or "retry". I did some research and sadly I am not the first person with this issue. So I had tried other solutions from older posts ( like hard reset, change time, login logout, etc...) and I'm not getting anywhere.
    Question: Does anyone out there has a solid answer for this issue?

    Is there a debit card associated with your iTunes account - debit cards
    are no longer accepted for payment.
    Is there an outstanding balance due on your account? You must resolve
    that before downloading anything, even free apps.

    Hello to all,
    I just want to download OS X Mavericks from App Store and I get a simple error message:
    "We could not complete your purchase.
    OS X Mavericks cannot be installed on this computer."
    And the "Learn More" button points me to http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5842.
    I am doing this from my brand new Mac Book Pro 13'' Retina (Late 2013), running Mavericks 10.9.1.
    My objective is to install Mavericks on my Mac Mini (a system bought at the beginning of 2013), whose original harddrive was replaced with an SSD. That is the reason I just want to do a fresh install on it.

    I should boot a Linux distro from USB just to erase the disk, although I would expect that as an option to be provided during the setup of the Mac OS X installation process.
    Anyway, meanwhile I am following this guide here: http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/apple-in-the-enterprise/how-to-create-a-bootabl e-usb-to-install-os-x-mavericks/.
    While writing this response, I manage to follow the whole article and the result is successful for now: right now I am in the process of installing the Mavericks. Interesting is that after booting from the USB I also got "Your computer restarted..." error, but after that the reboot started the installation process. Then I manage to erase the SSD drive using Disk Utility provided during installation.
    Well... 5 minutes left. :-)

  • Cannot download Spotify from App Store

    I cannot find or download Spotify App in App Store in Denmark for my IPad3.

    If you are now in Denmark with a valid Danish billing address then you will need to change the address on your account and your billing info to your new details - which you might be able to do (I've never needed to do it) either by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and doing View Apple ID, or on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account. If you still have a balance on your account then that will need to be used up first (or you can contact iTunes support and see if tey can remove it for you : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page)

    Just tried to pick up geodefense swarm from the app store. It says error 8012 under the status column in downloads and it tells me to go to the store menu and hit check for downloads. I have tried this and other various methods to restart the download with no luck. I've also tried closing iTunes and reopening. Help and input would be very much appreciated

  • Not able to Install Video download application from App store to ipad3

    In my new ipad 3 application store,  I found some applications available for  Video dowload  from youtube or other sites. But unfortunately these applications "Install" icon  is not highlighted  and due to that i am not able to download those applications.  It is not some error as  I saw such "blocking" happen for all video download applications.
    This issue happen for both free & paid applications.  Other than this, I didn't have any issue in installing other applications which are non video downloader applications.  Is this due to some wrong settings or Apple itself not permitting to do so.
    I read in web that many able to download such application to download Youtube video but I am not able to do so.. Looking for your quick revert.
