Cannot download 10g_win32_db.zip

When I try to download this file, I only get about 10K transferred out of 600MB+. I have tried on two networks, my client and at my hotel. Neither works. I am evaluating this for a client, so getting it is critical.

I cannot download anything from the Oracle site using my work laptop (on different networks). I tried the Oracle 10g download and some ODBC drivers. I can download from other sites, I can download Oracle files from my home computer (when I am there).
The symptom is I get a few K downloaded, then the download dialog closes. No error messages, no warnings, just a stub of a file.

Cannot download zip file

Why is it that with Firefox 8 I cannot download a zip file that was sent to me as an e-mail attachment? When I select the zip file a pop asks me if I want to 'open with' or 'save file'. Whichever option I choose the file is named attachment.ashx (this is not the name of the zip file I received).
The only way I have been able to resolve the problem so far is to open the e-mail using Windows Explorer, from which I can retrieve the zip file correctly.

I have the same problem since updating to Firefox 8 on my MacBook Pro. Now all files download as .ashx, sometimes I can open them via Word, but often they won't open at all. Previous versions of Firefox opened them in the appropriate application and saved them to the desktop. This has become such a problem that I have abandoned Firefox and have returned to Safari .....

I could not download sucessfully file 92010NT_Disk2.zip from Oracle 9i Personnal server for NT/2000/XP. at 99% download the job froze And I cannot go ahead.
I could download 92010NT_Disk1.zip and 92010NT_Disk3.zip the 2 other parts of this download. what can I do ?

It sounds like you may not have it configured properly to use cookies or something else I'm missing but you might want to try this: a) login to OTN from the homepage to make sure your cookie is set b) navigate to the page you need to download from c) launch getright separately d) copy the URL from the download page and paste into Getright (File --> Enter new URL to download) This is assuming you have v 5.0.2

I don't use zip but my hotmail says 'download as zip' to photos, flyers and I cannot download.

When I try to open an attachment in my hotmail, a document or photo, "download as zip" appears. A document is 'hotmail.zip' in download section, kind is "zip archive". All attachments automatically registered as "zip" "zip archive". I want to go back to the normal "pdf and doc" with proper titles, not hotmai1.zip and be successful in downloading.

I forgot to mention that my power button did work but everything else, keyboard and trackpad, didn't! Anyway, I shutdown my laptop, slept, and turned it back (in hopes that it might work instead of restarting it like before). Now my keyboard and trackpad works! Thank goodness! I was about to go to the Apple store upset too!

iWork (no 's') for iOS & iWork for Mac have not gone away.
iWork.com (beta) (also no 's') is going away the end of July. iWork.com (beta) is/was an online method of sharing iWork files with other users & never moved out of beta in 3+ years. It is a completely different entity than the iWork apps & is not & never has been necessary for the iWork apps to function.
A Numbers document, as well as Pages or Keynote documents, cannot be opened on a PC. You must first export them to a file that a PC can use. For Numbers that is generally Excel. In Numbers on your iPad tap the wrench & then tap Share & Print & choose Excel as the file type.
As for transfering a file from a PC to an iPad, I'm not sure as I don't use a PC.

Tried to unzip the same file on another server with the same results. System Admins think the file is corrupt or ??
Opened SR 6400327.993 but Oracle Support says I must resolve thru Forums.

Hi,
It seems that “oracle” don’t have access to the directory/subdirectory where you download /copied the dump.
Better follow the steps
As root
1.     Move the dump to /tmp
2.     Chmod 777 /tmp
3.     Chmod 777 <dump name>
As oracle
4.     Unzip <dump>

Recovery files out of pocket, can I download a zip or something?

My daughter's Satellite s55-A5235 needed a new harddrive, it is still under warranty. I opted for the ship me the drive option and have it installed. She is home but we cannot find her file that has her drivers in it. We know it is out of pocket because it has her printer driver and others too. Is there a way to download a zip file? I am afraid to order the flash media as it may cross her/us in the mail as she heads back to university. Also, We are not wanting to pour money into a machine still under warranty.

I think you're asking if there's a way to download a system recovery disc image. Unfortunately, that's not possible due to licensing restrictions.
As you may already know, the recovery media can be ordered at http://support.toshiba.com/repair.

Can't download labview_win_util32.zip

I need to learn how to programmatically print a file from labview and going through the discussion forum i was directed to this file "labview_win_util32.zip" on the ni.com website (http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/4334712A8AFB989E86256514006DDC69) For some reason I cannot download this file, and I don't know if it is a problem with the ni.com website or the internet settings at my work. Is it possible for someone to upload it on the discussion forum or at least tell me another way of getting this file, I will greatly appreciate it

Well, I was able to download the file from the ftp link just fine. Did you get some error? I know NI's site has been a bit flaky over the past couple of weeks. Even so, whoever put that file on the ftp site seems to have forgotten a couple of files, including the important lvwutil32.dll, withouth which most of the VIs are useless. The page that talks about these utilities includes a comment from someone indicating this file is missing from the archive.

i saw ur log it shows tht ur uploading both awt and jsp client in the same client u need to assign either jsp or awt version to a client not both,

TOM folder in installation is for JSP
Core folder is for awt

My customers who use iOS cannot download the video files I send by Adobe Send "Safari cannot download this type of file" is the report they get. I have tried created a zip file of the clip but get the same result. Please help

This error seems to point at a problem not directly related to the encoding. The message might be misleading but I read "Safari cannot download this type of file" as relating to the file type - the end of the name (perhaps MIME type setup, but let's start with the file type).
But... some web searching finds others say that iOS cannot download files AT ALL because it has no filing system you can access. Clearly (?) you just want it to show the movie, but I don't know any more than that.
Perhaps someone else has worked in this area. Also worth trying suitable iOS forum.
