I cannot download HMRC company tax return form

I have tried the solutions 1 to 4 on the HMRC website but can't download the PDF to submit a company tax return.  Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

    This is an odd one, was wondering if anyone else has come across this problem
    I'm nurturing an old G4 as my main computer, as I still want to use the old Cinema Display monitor.
    Last year (April 2012) I prepared my Company Tax Return CT600 for the HMRC, was able to  download the HMRC document (designed for Adobe Reader), change the Trust settings as instructed in the HMRC leaflet, and complete the form. I made a number of attempts to submit it - there is a link to click on the last page of the return to submit.  I got the rainbow wheel for several minutes, then a "submission failed" message from the HMRC "helpdesk".  Repeated calls to the Helpdesk produced no help, but the comment that they were looking at some problems with the software and compatability with old MACs.
    I should say that I'd used their online service on the same computer for all the other company tax affairs, and my own self assessment tax, with no problems at all.
    Because they were unable to solve the problem, they offered me the chance to submit a paper return, for that year only.  However, I went to my neighbour who runs Windows Vista, and he was able to submit the form for me with no difficulty after he had changed the Adobe Trust settings as instructed.
    I assumed that HMRC would have addressed the compatability issue - if that's really what the problem is - by this year. But no - tried to submit for the current year, and same problem, rainbow wheel, followed by the "submission failed" message from HMRC, timecoded, so presumably the form at least tried to submit itself it to their servers.
    So before I go round all my friends' computers with the file and try again, I just wondered if any vintage MAC enthusiasts who run small companies might have come across this one and found a work-around?  Or could it be an ISP issue, though never had problems submitting any other kinds of forms online to any other organisations.  I'm interested in finding out if there is a solution!

    The last really supported Flash for PPC was 10.1.102.64, but if it's for like Facebook or such, people have been fooling FB to think they have a leter version installed.

    (If you are running a PPC Mac with Flash Player 10.1.102.64 and are having problems with watching videos on FaceBook or other sites, contributor Texas Mac Man suggests the following solution which fools the site into thinking that you are running the latest version:)
    Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.

  • Signature/trust/cerificate/HMRC corporation tax return

    Hello,
    I am trying to complete a CT600 corporation tax return via HMRC website but I am unable to progress through the form because of an autosave error message which arises due to trust settings which have not been activated.
    I followed adobe help which stated I would need to amend the certificate settings and validate the signature. I followed these steps and validated the signature. This did not resolve the issue.
    I checked the support forums and found that there was HMRC advice on the issue.The HMRC guidance states that certain settings must be applied to the certificate or signature before validation. I did not apply the correct settings and now I am unable to amend the settings (the settings I am referring to are those which are illustrated by the red and green ticks on the manage certificates screen.
    Please help by confirming how I can change settings once a signature has been validated.

    The links you have posted are for the HMRC guidance I referred to in my original query. If you refer to step 12 in the guidance you have posted (for adobe reader version 10), it shows an image of the "trust" tab on "certifcate viewer" which has been accessed by going through "signature properties." In the image there are green ticks for "Execute high privelege Javacripts..." and "Perform priveleged system operations." On my version of the document there are red crosses for these two items, because I did not follow step 8 correctly (I did not check all of the appropriate boxes because I was using Adobe help on managing trusted identities rather than the HMRC guide). I have validated the signature but I am unable to go back and amend the privelege options because the option to "add to trusted identities" (see step 7) has been greyed out. Details on how to amend the information is not included in the HMRC guidance.
    Can anyone help further?

  • Can't open tax return form ( Dutch)

    Hi,
    Perhaps difficult fo non Dutch, but we can declare taxes each year on line, by downloading a form. There is a specific form for Mac users but I cannot get it to open. It is a normal .app and I have tried everything: downloading it to several locations, saving it before opening it etc. I have a Imac 2009 with the latest SL; system configuration is more then ok. I asked another Macuser and he was able to open without any problems. I must be missing something simple here, but I do not know what. I have read and write access to the file and tried about everything I can think of. Any suggestion is very welcome!

    Kortzichtig zijn ook nog afgezien van de vele belachelijke belastingen die je in Nederland moet betalen.
    Probeer dit eens ... download *FireFox browser voor Apple* en je zult zien dat het wel lukt om je aangiften online te doen.
    Afgelopen jaar hebben ze belooft aan het probleem van Apple browsers met name Safari iets er aan te doen, omdat steeds meer Apple gebruikers zijn die het zat zijn constant virussen te hebben die voor MicroSoft geschreven zijn.

    This is because you are not passing your taxes which you paid to the finance. The fix for this is to do manual adjustment. Go to utilities -> manual adjustment-> click on deposits , interests and penalities and adjust here. for eg
    fed 0001- put the amt to be adjusted.
    fed 0005 -put the amt to be adjusted
    fed 0006-put the amt to be adjusted
    after saving this runt he form againa nd see the result.

    that the Adobe Document Server is working correctly.
    Please use transaction SFP to test the Adobe Document Server using the
    Tax Reporter forms.

    Installation Preparation
    Install a SAP Web AS 6.40 J2EE Engine or higher
    A SAP J2EE Engine on Windows is the basis for the Adobe Document
    Services.
    Therefore, before you begin with the installation, make sure that one of
    the following prerequisites are met:
    SAP Web AS J2EE engine on Windows is Installed
    The following installation types are supported:
    - SAP Web AS 6.40 ABAP + J2EE system (J2EE Add-In) or higher
    - SAP Web AS 6.40 J2EE system or higher

    if you start report via SE38. program name RFUMSV00 you can read the program documentation. In here it states what is needed:
    ...In addition, the report provides data for the electronic advance return
    for tax on sales/purchases. The administration report for electronic tax
    returns (FOT_B2A_ADMIN) then directly sends the return to your relevant
    tax authority.
    To use the electronic advance return for tax on sales/purchases, make
    the necessary settings in the screen area Posting Parameters under
    Electronic Advance Tax Return.
    For more information, see the SAP Library under Financials -> Financial
    Accounting (FI) -> Financial Accounting  General Topics -> Taxes
    (FI-AP/AR) -> Taxes on Sales/Purchases, Sales Taxes, and Additional
    Taxes -> Electronic Advance Return for Tax on Sales/Purchases.

    Does anybody know when is SAP going to release the changes for form HR_F_940_09 for ER Annual Fed UE Tax Return. As of now the FUTA taxes are calculated based on the old rate .008 that was valid before 07/01/2011.

    The form is not in the tables but I dont find the form HR_F_940_11 when i goto  transaction sfp either. When did SAP release this form and can you tell me if there is a note where i can download this form from ?

  • Form printout for advance tax return (rfumsv00)

    Many countries like for example India have standard government prescribed formats for VAT returns or for service tax returns (like ST3 format) . But from my analysis, i dont find an option in ECC 6- Advnace tax return - rfumsv00 to output the data onto a form. (Only for Germany and Belgium this is possible by selecting the option "prepare printing of forms" under the "posting " tab.). Please tell me if there is any option. I cannot believe that SAP doesnot provide such option for other countries?

    I hope nothing is mentioned like , this is specific to Germany and Belgium.
    If you want you can have the form in your own layout. In "Output lists" area you can create your own variant for each output/input tax line items and balances.
    Based on the layout selected you will get the output print form.

    If you want to play the file then the iSwifter or Skyfire browser apps might work (they don't work on all flash sites) but you won't be able to download it

    I just want my content.  I am frustrated at trying to get on-line help.  Either I will not get a reply to my feedback form, or the online support page has an error code, with "please try again later" or "start over".  I have paid for this content, and cannot download their corrupted file.

    Are you in a country where TV shows can be re-downloaded - if you are then have you tried deleting that copy from your iTunes library and re-downloading it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes ?
    When you say that you used the feedback page, do you mean the feedback page (which you won't get a reply to) or the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history on your account or the contact iTunes Support page ?
    'report a problem' : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
