I cannot download info from my banking site since upgrading to the last version of Firefox

I can no longer download parts of my banking info since upgrading to the latest version of Firefox. Prior to this I had no problem bringing up statements. Now it gives me giberish. The bank says it supports up to 3.0 version, but not the later versions.

I think you must download and install the other supported version(except the latest 9.0.x) which is '''3.6.25''' from here:

I cannot use any of the features in my email account since updating to the latest version of firefox although I have no problem in IE

I updated to the newest version of Firefox and now cannot select, read, delete, move any emails. Also cannot access any of the folders where many of my emails are stored. I have no problem with my email in Internet Explorer, all of the features work fine through IE.

I HAVE NOW SOLVED THE PROBLEM BY RUNNING WINDOWS REGISTRY REPAIR TOOL WHICH HAS OBVIOUSLY REPAIRED CORRUPT REGISTRY FILES.

It's possible that installing iOS7 on the other devices made the setting to the default for "Find My Friends". The default is off/disabled. Thus they are off line.
Double check their settings for that feature.

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

to WS2008R2.
Check if you actually need this hotfix at all on WS2008R2. Based on my reading of this article

Cannot e-mail from Adobe Acrobat 7 since upgrading to Office 2013

I was emailing from Adobe Acrobat 7 just fine until I upgraded to Office 2013. Now I get an error saying I need to set up a Microsoft Outlook profile in Windows and then it will not let me email. This only seems to be happening to my users who have Adobe Acrobat 7. The newer versions work fine. Anybody got any ideas? The only thing I did was go to Start, Default Programs, Set Default Programs, and chose Outlook to set as default. Thanks.

Not sure PDF Maker has anything to do with the problem. It is an issue of AA7 being able to properly communicate with an e-mail client. AA7 uses MAPI to do the communications and it may be that the new Outlook is not using MAPI properly or is using a newer version of MAPI that AA7 fails to communicate with. I know this is not a solution, but may give you some insight into what to look for.

Cannot select photos from albums for screensaver since upgrade to Tiger.

Since upgrading my G4 to Tiger, screensaver will only work with Photo Library, Last Row, and Last 12 months folders. I can no longer select my own albums I have created in iPhoto. When I do select my own albums, the screensaver selects from Photo Library. Screensaver will work with the Last Row and last 12 month albums. This is kind of frustrating. Not too pleased with Tiger and would reinstall Panther in a heartbeat if I could figure out how to do it.

When I try to upgrade to the newer version of Firefox, this is the message I get (I am using OS 10.4.11): The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items.

I have recently dropped Earthink as me dial-up provider. I now am using Virgin Mobile Broadband2GO. I was using Safari. I am now using Yahoo! Mail Plus. It suggested I switch to Firefox. I had an older version of Firefox (2.0.0.6) and started using it. It suggested I needed to upgrade because many of the newer web sites wouldn't work well on this older version. I downloaded the newer version and proceeded with the installation and it would tell me this: '''The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items.''' I have re-downloaded and tried it again two more times. I haven't a clue what that means or what to do about it.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

The college uses, E-bray, to read the E books from the library. The previous version of Firefox worked great with the plugin. When I upgraded to the next version of Firefox now the plugin will not work.

E-bray is a reader that allows me to easily read the college's Library's selection of electronic media. I am running version 5.0 of Firefox and the other version worked fine. It may have been version 3, I think. I have version 3 in my download. Can I load this version back onto my lap or will this really mess things up?

Many add-ons do in fact work if you force them to run. The procedure to roll-back is given in this article: [[installing previous versions of firefox]]
Unfortunately the official Firefox policy is that you downgrade to 3.6 which is supported for a while longer, and not the now unsupported Firefox 4. If after installing and running the ''add-on compatibility reporter'' you still have problems there are ways around the official policy.
I think it is absurd that Firefox 4 may be used by tens of millions of users one day and a few days later those that upgrade to Firefox 5 should be not only told not to use a now unsupported browser, if they need to revert due to problems, but are actually obstructed in attempts to do so. I have been using firefox for years. I downloaded the latest version and at the conclusion of the down load I was refussed access to the internet. Something about Proxy???? I checked my firewalls and security and they said that mozilla was allowed but everytime I attempt to gain access I am refused. I cant access the internet and I cant download another program to access the internet. No. After I select "Choose" the dialog box expands to provide only three choices. This is a new bug. I have only seen it in the past week or so, but it is maddening. I have observed that, while the Mozilla Foundation focuses on trivialities like which search engine should be the default, the Firefox application becomes buggier and buggier. Most of my family has switched to Chrome, and I will be following shortly. Firefox used to be a great program. Not any more. Getting assistance with a problem has also become very difficult.
