I cannot download iTunes 10.5 from the Apple website.

I am currently on OSX Lion 10.7.2 with iTunes 10.5 beta 6 and wan't to upgrade to iOS 5 but I cannot upgrade without iTunes 10.5!
Also, I have tried restarting my Mac a few times and it hasnt helped
Please help!

Turn on pipelining. This will allow Firefox to make simaltaneous requests to the server. Chrome has pipeling turned on. Some sites could fail to load with pipeling set on. The site will be old. See "Increase pipelining" in:

I am trying to download an iWork 09 manual from the Apple website but all I get is a big plain black window. I am following the download instructions very carefully. I know I have the most recent version of Adobe Reader. Using Safari, when I try to "Save As", I get a message saying "cannot export". What am I doing wrong??
Turns out this is an overall problem....any PDF I try to download on line turns up the same plain black page. Doesn't matter whether it is what I tried to download mentioned above, or if it's the latest power bill from our utility company. An UGLY black screen!! I have it set up that downloaded PDF documents should open in Preview.
On the other hand, any PDF documents in my computer files open with no problem.
Prior to installing Lion, most of my activity lately has been converting AppleWorks documents to Pages and, if that doesn't work, I convert to PDF. Other than that, I haven't been fooling around with any settings.
Once again, I appreciate your input....any other suggestions?

Cannot download Final Cut Pro from the app store

I cannot download Final Cut Pro from the app store.
I says "Failed to download" and error has occurred

is it my Macbook?I had a problem way back in the olden days, i.e., FCPX 10.0.2, and finally gave up and called the Apple Store using a land-line phone.
Anyway, (this was a couple years ago), if I remember right, they passed me off to someone in the FCPX group and I got the App. However, this was not a really goo way to go because for many updates afterward, everytime I wanted to update I had to go thorugh the same ritual.
Finally, probably around 10.0.8, things got "fixed" and since then I've been able to go direct and download it from the App Store without having to make a phone call.
My suggestion would be to try calling the App Store. Maybe, if there is a "global problem" and they get a lot of calls, they will fix it.
Heck, maybe write a Knowlede Base (KB) article about it.

I have Lightroom 4 installed. I cannot download my CR2 files from the Canon 5D Mark III camera. I have downloaded Lightroom 5 thinking it was an update but it appears I have to pay for the program. Any ideas how I can get lightroom 4 to accept my CR2 files ?

I am unable to open raw files taken on my Canon Rebel T1i in my version of Photoshop CS3. When I import raw files into Bridge they come up as patches with CR2 on them and when clicked on, a notice comes up stating that Photoshop does not recognize these files. I tried to update my Adobe Camera Raw by downloading version 4.6 from the Adobe Website, but when I clicked on the plus-in, I got another message that Photoshop does not recognize this file. I spoke with a representative from Canon who said that I could not update CS3 and that I should subscribe to the Cloud. I would prefer to use my CS3, if possible. Can anyone advise me what to do?

Because you need to buy iLife 08 or newer on DVD first. If you're using iDVD 05, you probably have a PowerPC Mac and can't use iLife 11.

It's all very confusing to me, I need some answers from experienced customers.I already checked. I purchased my iPhone 3G on the launch date back in July '08. I've paid the bill the day my bill was issued, days ahead of its due date, and for some reason, even through it's magic 8-ball wisdom, said I was not eligible for and upgrade. I purchased a MacBook Pro from the Apple Store in Bath, UK about 3 years ago now, and when my Hard Drive packed up i took it into the Apple Store in Cardiff, UK to get it looked at. They replaced my Hard Drive there and then; free of charge as they were able to trace my purchase back to the Apple Store despite it being out of warranty. Will it be the same if there ever was a problem if i was to buy it off of the Apple Website?The warranty is the warranty. Your device will be backed if it's bought from the site or brick and mortar store or even an authorized third party (in other words I bought my iPad at best buy and I can still take it into an apple store and have them back the warranty)

When i try to download itunes onto my windows7 computer it all goes well and says it is now store but i cannot find it anywhere to open it.
I download itunes and says its complete. I then try start itunes and it says you give permission to run this program and I click yes and then it doesnt work at all.

What do i have to do to get sufficent privileges?
Why does the title says "I get an error message when downloading Itunes" when you clearly do not? The issue has nothing to do with downloading but rather installing of iTunes which is a seperate step.
Maybe if a search is performed for the real issue then a resolution will be found.
