I cannot download the shockwave player. I need some help. Thanks

Hi, I have been trying over and over again to download the adobe shockwave player for a class assignment and i have had difficulty in doing this. I have windows 7 and I use firefox. When i go to the adobe website i click on adobe shockwave player and then i click on agree and install now. Then a prompt comes up asking if i want to save the file shockwave installer slim and i click on save file. after that, the shockwave installer slim icon appears on my desktop so i click on it. and the Adobe Shockwave Player Setup runs. after it is finished running the only option that i have is to close the window. so i close it, restart my computer, and shockwave is still not on my computer. I have even deleted cookies, and my history options. I don't know what to do next.

How do you know that
shockwave is still not on my computer.
Did you try the full installer?

I dont know why you cannot download and install the Flash Player but you should definitely check the Adobe website:

I have downloaded and installed the flash player from this site and it worked!

I am unable to download the AirPlAy it server to my iphone, I had no problem doing so on my IPad, however the iphone wont take it, it's a DMG file....

Iphone does not do DMG files. DMG is a disc image format. The airplay software installs on your PC or Mac and the client software goes on you IOS device. the same file is Universal so both devices.
IOS install files are IPA and these "different".

Hello, I can´t upgrade the iPhoto. I need some help.

I just downloaded OS X Mountain Lion from the app store, (i had snow leopard), and now i need to upgrade the iPhoto, when i'm doing it appears a message saying that a failure has occurred and the program can't be actualized, the failure (error) number is "102". What should i do?.

Brand new to the Mac World and NEED SOME HELP with startup disk issues

Hello everyone. I am a new Mac user and I purchased my mac on ebay. It's an iMac that came with tiger 10.4.11. I wanted to get a fresh start on the computer, since the person who had it before me did not erase all of his stuff. I didn't know what to do so I got a startup disk/install disk off ebay also. When I go to install it says "software cannot be installed on this computer." Before I bought the software, I had called the apple store and they said it should be fine to buy any install software to put on the computer. If I could get any help it would be appreciated. I had read previous threads that I should hold down c when I start up (didn't work) or that I should select archive or erase and install (I never got these options when I went to install).

What iMac is it? I only ask as the Retail Tiger CD/DVDs don't work on IntelMacs, only PPC, (G3, G4, G5 Macs).
Sorry what you were told by the Apple Store, but if it's a Gray CD/DVD then it is Machine specific as Neil stated.

Battery not charging, dim green light on Magsafe. Stuck at 37% battery life. Not sure the issue, so I need some help.

Yesterday, my Magsafe power adapter/battery was working fine. I had unplugged the machine last night to do some work, and I left it unplugged all night. It held a good 90% charge over the night, and after using it for a few hours I wanted to plug it back in. I noticed the normally bright amber light on the Magsafe did not come on, but a faint green light.
The machine says "Battery is not charging", but no "Service Battery Warning has shown up. I also attached an image of my results from Coconut Battery, just not sure what the numbers mean.
Any ideas?

I reset the SMC, nothing changed, I took out the charger to clean, but there wasn't anything dirty.
BUT as soon as I plugged the MagSafe out, the power percent jumped from 37% to 47%. Still not charging, I am very confused on how it charged??

Bt infinity way to slow !!! Need some help

We just got bt infinity 1 installed with home hub 5 as well, I did a speed test and it was only getting 10mbps download, 5 Mbps upload and 85 ping, is this good or bad. We currently have 10 devices connected to internet in this house, I can't even watch normal you tube videos in 480p, this is annoying as paid a lot of money for it, I know the problem can rely down to the amount I people connected, it may be also down to where the router is ? Need some help to how we can get best performance and how to share the connection between all of us or how to get more as on the best package available ? Thanks will need all the help as the internet is atrocious right now, almost as bad as our non infinity by home hub 2 we had a few days ago

Example. I create one table with 32 rows and 8 numretic cells, and another table below with 1 row and 8 numretic cells.
In the big table i can input numbers and working fine.
now to my problem. Ex, i want to input number 12 in row 1 cell 3.and then again same number 12 in row 2 cell 3 and i want the result (24) in table 2 row 1 cell 3. is there anyboby who can help me with that See below

Need some help with Substring

hi all
i am writing a simple program and got stuck at one point
this is how it goes:

so if i entered "a ab abc" this becomes "a,ab,abc,"
the problem is that i NEED to use substring to get rid of the last comma, how can i take the already print out result as a whole new string?? or i need to rewrite it in another way??

You start from index 1, skipping the first element in the a-array, is that what you want? Otherwise you should loop from 0.
Anyway, here is how you can do it (skipping first element as you did):
for (int x = 1; x < a.length; x++) {

}You can't remove what you have already printed out. Another way to do this, is with a StringBuffer:
StringBuffer sb = new StringBuffer();

Hello- I was able to resolve the issue after clicking on the top right hand corner that shows the recent downloads (it has that down arrow). I realized that I had tried downloading the Adobe Flash Player Install Manager about 7 times, but still needed to click on the file and install! So I erased all the duplicates and installed one of the Flash Player Install Managers and it finally worked! Yay!
