I cannot drag music from my iTunes to my imovie ('09) file???

I have been working on this project for quite some time as an aperture slideshow, then exported it from aperture as a .mov file. I've done this before and then imported into imovie to add music to it. Worked just fine in the past. I've been trying to do this again since Monday, and I can't drag the music file to the movie file. I also tried saving the music file on my desktop and dragging it over to the imovie file. Nothing works!!!! Any assistance you can provide would be great!!!

When you add the MOV file to iMovie it goes in an Event. You must then drag it to a project before you can add the music. You cannot add music in an event.

I am having a similar problem. I have over 4000 songs giving me this error. I certainily don't want to go in one by one and find them. I know you wrote a script for Windows but I am a Mac user. Is there a fix for me? Here is the info on where the song is currently (used by doing the get info)

Then I find the music there as well. (Which is where it is in my preferences.)

How to manually drag music from my itunes library to my ipod on mac?

Hi I have just purchased a mac, my itunes had previously been loaded onto my old PC and it was relatively easy for me to manually drag and drop my new purchases from my library into the sidebar which showed my Ipod and its playlists (I dont ike the automatic sync function as ive heard you can wipeout all your music this way). When I did this the synchonise 'wheel' would whir round on the ipod's screen and also as a little icon next to the playlist/folder I had dropped the song into. Now on my new mac all I seem to be able to do is autofill into my 'Music' folder on my Ipod but cannot drag new songs into particular playlists. It seems to view the ipod and my library as two seperate screens?? Did I not install it right? i presumed that logging into itunes and plugging in my ipod would be all I need to do. All my songs are there but I cannot interchange music from my library into my ipod playlists. Can anyone help?

I recently updated my iphone 3GS and now I cannot move any music from my itunes library to my iphone. I have also had to sync my iphone with my laptop as my PC that I used before no longer works.

Connect the phone to your computer
Wait for it to appear in the list on the left side of iTunes
Click once on it in that list
Look to the right and scroll down to Options - one of the checkboxes says Manually manage music and videos

I have downloaded music from cd's onto my itunes on my computer, however we use the same computer for 2 iphones in our house and i cannot transfer music from the itunes on our computer to the second iphone, but its fine on the first? help?!

You have to call Apple & likely ask for a Product Specialist to get it, if they still have it! Helps to tell them you have an iPad/iPhone & you can't run 10.6.

What instructions are you following?
To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device>Set up Syncing and follow the instructions.

If you are trying to drag a song over, do you have Manually Manage Music checked in iTunes? You need to check your iTunes settings before trying to put music on it. It may be that you have it set to sync. Check the Summary page of iTunes after you have selected the iPhone in iTunes.

You don't say where you are having problems. The best answer will depend upon what exactly you are trying to do. If you are trying to add one or two files, copy them to a flash drive, then drag them from the drive to an iTunes playlist. If you are trying to move your whole library that requires a different answer.
Note .wma files will work with iTunes on a PC but cannot be added to a Mac iTunes. Convert them to another format on the PC first (but I don't think you can do that if they are protected format).
