I cannot enter any text screen goes back to first page

Could anybody help, my ipad is letting me go into most apps but when I try to type in google or facebook etc. it won't allow. I'm assuming its something to do with the keyboard but could you please help thanks

Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the reset doesn't help, try a Restore. From iTunes, select the iPad and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finished, you will be asked if you wish the contents of iTunes to be copied to the iPad.

It's a bit hit and miss, Walter. Sometimes the box to enter text shows up straight away in the inspector under "text". Other times, although you click "text" in the inspector, there's nowhere to actually write anything.... then what you have to do is move the trackbar over the Title Box until you see the text boxes in the main Viewer. In the Viewer, double click a text box.... you can enter text there, but it's a bit flaky, but when you've clicked in it, you'll find that under "Text" in the inspector, the box for inputting text has magically appeared!
I'm not sure if anyone else has this trouble, but it is a bit of a pain!

AT300 goes back to first page after turn off when reading a book

When I turn off the Tablet and later turn it back on the book I was reading as started back at the beginning and I have to keep flipping pages to get to the spot I was at. This is very annoying. Any answers out there ? Thank you.

No as this is only the 2nd time it has done this. I have had this tablet for almost a year now and have been reading books all that time. Usually when I close the tablet and then open it later, the page has always been just where I left it. This was most annoying when each time you want to continue, you have to flip thru 20 chapters to get to the last reviewed page.

Google seems to change their login security occasionally, and apps that assume it will work a particular way get left out in the cold till they are updated, since the login process is hard-coded into the app.

Cannot Enter Message Text

I (suddenly) cannot enter any message text. I can enter other text, but not message text. Any suggestions?

close out of the message app, double tap the home screen - hold down on the message app and close out. Then go back to message app and see if you enter text.
If that doesn't work, do the same process again and then do a reset, hold down the home/power button until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

Can't enter any text in Safari address bar. Why?

I can't enter any text into the Safari address bar. The keyboard is working fine as it works in all other applications?

I understand. Close the window, and open a new one. Try the Address Bar. If no go, try Safari from another User Account. I'm curious if the Address Bar works there. If it doesn't, then you'll need to reinstall Safari.
Just in case you need this: Here is guidance from Apple on how to set up the account. You can ignore step 7 in the article.
Also, on the system preference>Accounts panel, click on "log-in" options. There, select "fast user switching". This allows you to go back and forth between user accounts via an icon in your Menu Bar at the top of the computer screen.
Log-on to the new account and start Safari. If the address bar works in the new account, then your problem is specific to your regular user account. Otherwise, similar response means a system-wide problem.

Cannot wake up after screen goes black occasionally since update to maverick. I have to wait a few mintues and press power button to restart. Any one has similar issue?

I've found the problem!!
Mavericks for some reason overheats the GPU.
I downloaded a free 3 day trial of Temperature Gauge Pro http://www.tunabellysoftware.com/tgpro/
It showed a GPU 0 diode temperature of 122 degrres C. I think that's about 250 degrees Farenhiet. Insanely hot. No wonder the poor thing was crapping out. TGP alows fan control and so I set them to maximum and watched the temp come down quickly.
After all these months of frustration it turned out to be a simple fix. So I bought the program for $10. Sure a lot cheaper than having the Apple Experts replace a GPU or CPU like some have sugested.
What I still can't figure out is why Apple won't fix the problem from thier end and just update the fan parameters on Mavericks.

The first thing you might try is resetting the Crop Tool by right clicking on the crop icon in the tool options bar and choosing Reset Tool.
If that doesn't work then the next thing is to reset the photoshop elements 2 settings file by holding down
the Shift+Ctrl+Alt keys just after clicking or double clicking on the pse 2 shortcut.
Keep holding the keys until a dialog appears ask if you want to delete the photoshop elements settings file
and click yes in the dialog.

hi! can anyone help me? i cannot send any text messages on my 5700. even checking on my balance, i can't even sent it. I tried to do the factory settings but that doesn't work too. there's an error saying that:
general: memory full. close some applications and try again.
I erased all my messages in my inbox and in sent messages. I even deleted some applications to my phone. And my phone memory and memory card are not also full.
please... i really need help...
