I cannot find the 'store' button iTunes, despite trying all the options mentioned here!

Hi guys,
I'm desperate for help! I bought a Mac recently and am trying to authorise it to work with my iTunes account. I've read dow=zens of posts on here on how to do that and none are working. For reference I have:
moved the cursor to the top of the screen...no toolbar appears
Pressed alt s...nada
pressed control b...zip
deuthorised all computers in the accounts section...nothing.
I need another suggestion guys :-(

It's only in full screen mode that I can get the iTunes menus not to show (or the only way that I've found so far). Do you have anything showing across the top of the screen when using iTunes e.g. do you have the date/time and other icons at the top right of the screen - the iTunes menus should be on that same bar

Using ios 6 beta 4 but i cannot find the option to upgrade to the official release!

This is what I found under the General / Settings section. Not super helpful!

So I guess my question is, did you already set up the profile somewhere?? I searched through the manual and didn't see anything super helpful, but since you know specifically what you're looking for, maybe you'll find something I missed.

You can only view your photo stream photos from a device or computer that is signed into your account with photo stream enabled, not from icloud.com. If you backed up your phone, the camera roll photos on your phone would be included in the backup, but cannot be seen unless you restore the backup to your phone.
However, you shouldn't try to use iCloud to back up your photos. Photo stream photos only remain in iCoud for 30 days. And if you back up yoru phone to iCloud, then delete your photos, you next backup will overwrite the backup that contains the photos you deleted and they would be lost.
To back up your photos, import them to your computer using your usb cable as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.

I cannot change my default search engine, despite trying all your suggestions. A friend suggested an add on- google default but for some reason Firefox is not

I have recently had the problem of Yahoo search becoming my default search engine. I loathe Yahoo having had many problems with them in the past so refuse to use them. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing...no change. I tried all your suggested fixes and none works. There is now no mention of Yahoo when I go to change search settings, but despite this Yahoo is the default search engine. This is intolerable for me and I am seriously on the verge of removing firefox for good. Stop me!!! I am having to send this in a different search engine as in Mozilla firefox this account is inactive...work that one out! It means there is no point giving you troubleshooting info...

I cannot find the Options button on my FireFox (Windows8). I want to change the download options.

There are a few ways to fix this. For me, going to add/remove programs and then clicking on itunes, CHANGE, then REPAIR worked. I was also getting an issue that after a few days or a reboot, it would kill itself again..
Others have to completely uninstall itunes and quicktime, erase their program files directories, then reinstall quicktiem first then itunes.
Others have to uninstall itunes, go to internet explorer and clear the recent downloads and the cache, then close ie, redownload, and then install itunes.

Cannot find the option rental movies on apple tv

Is there anyboby who had a similar situation, I was first left whith the problem of connecting to my Itune library (that is resolve now) but I lost the ability to see the rentals movies on apple tv (was working find yesterday) I only have access to Settings, Computer, Internet. What is going on I never had problem before.
If anybody have a solution I would be glad to here from you. Thanks in advance.

Have you restarted the unit and your router?
Do Internet items like YouTube work.
If AppleTV loses internet connection to iTunes Store it won't show movies but I'd expect YouTube etc not to work.
Do check Settings to ensure you have correct Country and Location set as not all store options are available in all countries.
Try these steps first.

What I don't understand is when I first purchased and connected there was no problem, only after a reset (because I thought I was going to sell the device) did I have this problem. AND the iPod Touch asks if I trust this computer to which I say yes, but still not seen in iTunes. REallly stumped on this. In the past I had hooked it up to another computer running xp and iTunes worked , but not with WIN 7. When I connected to a friends Mac Book, iTunes sees the ipod Touch, which rules out the problem being with the iPod Touch or the cable. So I'm wondering what the work around is for iTunes running on Win7

Ok, hope what I just found out will help others.... Had gone into Windows Device Manager, updated the device driver and suddenly iTunes recognized the iPod

I can run my programs perfectly on another machine with Windows XP. I've got a new machine with Vista Home Premium 64, but I have been never able to launch the server. I don't know if this has something to do with the system environment variables.

Try this.
Edit your registry and go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem
Change the value for NtfsDisable8dot3NameCreation to 1 (if the key does not exist, create a DWORD key with that name and set the value to 1).
Delete your DefaultDomain folder from the system folder.
Restart the machine, start the jdev and run the page.
