I cannot find WDdrivemanageruninstaller.app

I have been in contact with Western Digital regarding how to uninstall my WD My Book Studio Edition II backup drive. I don't want to uninstall it today because I want to purchase a new back up machine, but I want to know exactly how to uninstall it before I attempt the process.
WD support tells me to go Applications and find any folders with WD in the name and drag it to trash - or click on it and find uninstall. I could not any folder or file in Applications Folder or in Utilities Folder with WD as part of the name.
In Spotlight, nothing with WD came up except web pages and documents.
My last email with WD brought this comment:

And it should show as "WDdrivemanagerruninstaller.app" , just have to click on it and follow the prompts to uninstall it.

I looked through the applications section many times and I cannot find any folder with WD as part of the name.
I did find some instances of WD under Library/ Application Support. If that detail would be helpful I can type it out. Cannot seem to copy and paste it because I just get icons.
If anyone can answer any of my confusions I would appreciate so much.

We are not Apple, only end users like you. We can only speculate and that is deemed inappropriate by the Terms of Use we signed when joining here.
Your best option is to contact the developer and see if they have plans to submit their software for sale in the App store. Some developers do not want to use the App Store, preferring to market their products the traditional way. Other may disagree with strict Apple guidelines for what is offered in the Store

I had to have a new hard drive put into my Mac mini. I am trying to re-install by boxed set of Adobe Creative Suite master collection 5.5 but cannot find install.app on any of the three disks. Can anyone help? Thanks.

There's something else I have just remembered. The master suite collection was a student edition that I had the platform changed for, from Windows to Mac. This explains why the serial number on the box doesn't work. It had to be cancelled. So now the situation is that I need to track down the serial number it was replaced with. Thing is, I can't remember what Adobe did. I have relevant emails still, but only saying they have cancelled the old serial number (that's on the box) nothing about a replacement one.
Any thoughts?

Having installed thunderbird, and subsequently disinstalled, Safari cannot find Mail.app anymore. This is rather annoying, since I cannot send links or web contents anymore from winthin Safari. Is there any way to reinstall Safari or make Mail visible?

It's either been moved to another home screen or inadvertenlty dropped in a folder, in which case you can search for it or reset the Home Screen Layout in the General -> Reset area, or purchasing apps has been disabled in the Restrictions, also in the General settings.

I just baught the new ipod touch today and the first app i downloaded was facebook, however, i cannot find it on my ipod now, it says in the app store thats facebook has already been installed but i cannot find it. is there anything i can do?

I keep getting notices from Firefox (Firefox emblem in the popup) that "Joe Smith has Unfriended" me. I cannot find this app in Firefox to remove it. Mac OS

I keep getting small pop-up notices from Firefox (Firefox emblem in the pop-up), telling me that "Joe Smith [insert name of one of my Facebook friends there] has Unfriended you." It only stays on the screen for a few seconds and disappears.
Oddly, none of these people have actually unfriended me in Facebook. Facebook does not send Unfriend notices. I know there is an app for Firefox that does this, but I cannot find any trace of it in my Firefox Applications list and I do not recall installing it. Nothing with "Facebook" or "Unfriend" in my Firefox app list. (Someone else in the household may have installed it, but they are not talking. ;)
I searched my hard drive for "unfriend" and "Unfriend" and found nothing.
At this point, it is an annoyance, but it bothers me that something like this could become malicious.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

You have an add-on called Lost Friends Notifier. That seems like the likely culprit. Try removing it from the Add-ons Manager, Extensions category.

I deleted my copy of millionaire as it was not working correctly. Now I cannot reload it because I cannot find it in the app store or in my purchases. This also happened with another app (bunny shooter)

Does anyone know where I can find the BI Apps Product Guides for 7.9.6.4? (I have found them for 7.9.6.3 but cannot find them for .4.............if they are so similar as to have little difference then that is worth knowing as well).

It's only installed if you're running 10.6.6 or newer. Mac OS X 10.6 is a paid upgrade, and therefore won't appear in Software Update.

Software update cannot find installed App's in sub-folder

Hi All,
I have same kind of problem - I created folder called "iLife' 11" and moved there all App's which belong to this package. As soon as I did this Software Update cannot find anything. For example Apple released iPhoto' 11 (9.1.1) update and Software Update did not find it until I moved it back to "Applications".
BTW I have same problem with Adobe App's. Adobe update did not see Photoshop which has been moved to sub-folder.
My question is DO I have any chance to put App's to sub-folder and get them automatically updated by Software update? IF so, what should I do?

All sub-folders located in /Applications/ not in /Users/username/Applications. Actually /Users/username/Applications/ is empty on my mac.
What I trying to have is sub-folder (for example called Photo where I will have all applications for working with images (Photoshop, Nikon Scan, SilverFast and so on) in one locations or iLife' 11.
I took this idea from folder "Utilities" I can put App there and it worked and updated without any problems.
As far as I understand this problem (from Unix point of view) is a PATH problems. Software Update cannot find App in the folder which not listed in PATH.
If I create link (allies) for application in /Applications/ folder it will updated.

More than likely it is on an altenate home screen (swipe to the left to navigate), or in a folder. When you did the spotlight search, did it indicate as folder?

I cannot find the app/Safari Sort? I too want my bookmarks in alphabetical order. I Belive I am using Maverick

I read some of the earlier posts about using an app, "Safari Sort." However, I was unable to find an app named that. How or What do I need in order to put my bookmark folders in Alphabetical order without have to drag & drop each folder manually(alpha order)?

I've been watching this (general) thread for years and waiting patiently for Mozilla to address it, w/out any success at all - obviously. And, no, the answers are NOT helpful to me!
I understand many people have no interest in bookmarks but clearly lots of people still use them. If you're going to have the feature that purports to sort bookmarks, for pete's sake, make it work. I'd think it would be an embarrassment to have a part of your program malfunction for so long. I mean, what are you folks? IE!?! Why don't you just ask someone to spend a couple days addressing the issue and get it straightened out? (Clearly i care enough about it but I don't code, so… I'm useless.)
For the record, a user shouldn't have to individually sort each folder within their Bookmarks folder. One should be able to pick an option that would apply to all folders. Sure, leave the ability to sort individually but add an "apply to all" feature to the mother folder. Then, find a way to have it automatically maintain that status, whatever is selected. Doesn't sound like that difficult a task, given all the other great things you guys and girls do all the time! That's my ¢.
By the way, I'm using a MB Pro 4,1 (early 2008), OS 10.6.8, and Firefox 19.0 beta. Thanks for listening to my bitching.

Cannot find the app icon

After i downloaded my apps, the data is there in the usage but i cannot see any icon and i cannot open the app even via the app store. How can i fix this? Note: my restrictions are turned off at all times

I also have the same issue. I downloaded an app, it does not show on my home screen and will not open when i click on open in the app store. First time this happened.

Safari cannot find mail.app

I'm running Safari 5.1.4, and Mail 5.2 on a system running OS 10.7.3.
I am trying to send a link to a page from safari using CMD+SHIFT+I. When I attempt to do that, I receive a message that Safari cannot find an email application. I checked Mail's preferences, and it is listed as the default mail application.
Any ideas on how to get Safari to find Mail?

You need to reset the LaunchServices database.
Back up all data if you haven’t already done so. Before proceeding, you must be sure you can restore your system to the state it’s in now.

Cannot find FaceTime App on iPhone 5/New iPad

Found out that I did not have FaceTime app on my iPhone 5 or new iPad.
Have started reading articles about it.
Need to go thru settings=> general => restrictions and
set safari, camera, facetime . all to be "on".
and go thru settings => FaceTime and turn it on and also give correct
e-mail addesses.
My iPad will put the FaceTime back to the screen.. no sweat.
Still did not see it on my iPhone.. Okay, read more articles.
have tried settings=> general=> reset => "erase all content and settings"
to reset everything..
still no FaceTime App showing on my iPhone. went thru all steps I did for iPad
and still do not see the app on my iphone.. Help?
Now, I think of it, I cannot get a FaceTime on my iPhone, right?
Once, I make a phone call, the facetime is an option to do, right?
if so, how can I find others using their e-mai? thanks for the tip.

There is no facetime app./icon, never has been.
The manual shows how to use facetime.
Tap contacts, tap the contact you want to facetime, scroll down to the facetime button.
